Week 5 complete for bloom. Getting sticky and feel 4 more weeks...clones are in rough shape...Gave the girls a treat in a 1L shot of a 4-20-4 each...still not a mark on the girls other then a couple of innocent brown marks on one...not trimming leaves too much as want the stored energy in them for flush time, Hands down...these are going to be awesome and Crosby Molasis with some Root Farm diluted every second watering has kept them content in between the 3 week Gaia feedings...just followed the directions and added 50% more. Organic is so easy with the odd turbo boost in between keeps things very healthy....Par is about 550 at fringe on 3 tops and mostly 750 to1075 on 2 certain tops so all below 1000 mostly...would bend the 2 but just want to see if get extra big...

Week 4 of Flower: HLG Diablo at 100% 18in from canopy. Watered in at 800ml top dressed 2tbs bloom, 2tbs bloom2, 3 tbs barley, 2 tbs worm castings, a recharge day and a silica day.

Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Another eventful week! Transplanted into 5 gallong pots. Its interesting to see that there hasnt been much vertical growth but allot of branchung out compared to how it was with the other lights

Buds are so fatty, they're most likely orange right now. Tons of them but still has some of them on the bottom tiny ones with white hairs as well, dude this is so amazing... Plan on to harvest her tomorrow tho Not all of her but I will take most of the ones that are ready to go, will let light get to the ones on the bottom to see if they get fatty as well. Will feed her nutes after taking some flowers from her. I love my girls for real, sometimes don't want to even hurt them but haha you have to get the buds ya know xD Lol I'm stoned. Today is day 71 for these ladies and they are doing just amazing! Stacking up densely with a Very sweet smell , I still get hints of vanilla ! Not to much longer to go these girls few more weeks an they should be done! Stay tuned for next week ! ✌️

I found out by measuring the water going from the pot that I probably over fertilize the plant. My mistake Was to use some cheap guano from local shop to the pot directly and also full plan with shogun fertilizers. I find out it before leaves start necrosis and now the plant is on diet with 1,4 ec and i control the outcoming water every day to be sure that situation In pot is better. Colas still growing but it slows a bit and will do some impact on my yealds at the end for sure. I will learn from my mistakes ! You can seen on pictures some improves on vent system, keep growing guys! Keep improving 👌🏻🤩

This week was a bit bumpy, I found that I am dealing with a two main issues. First being that the plants are much too dense and close together. Makes it near impossible for me to remove the dead leaves that are falling on the Coco which eventually attract fungus. So far I have cleared the top of the medium the best I can without being able to see it. Second issue is that my timer for the irrigation is not functioning properly. I left for a weekend and my plant sitter did not realize the plants weren't being fertigated. Came back to my whole grow smelling of hay. After manually getting the feeding back on track they have fully recovered. Issues aside it's starting to look like chop day is 1 or 2 weeks away. Just in time for Christmas

Another week done, finished up week 6 of flowering, week 10 of the whole grow. The buds are continuing to fatten up, inching closer and closer to harvest. Noticed the first few Amber tricombs on some of the upper buds, going to be leaning off the big bud and switching to overdrive to help aid in ripening and the final bulk. I’d like the run them another 4 weeks giving them a full 9-10 weeks in flower. But will judge harvest on a near 45/55 or 50/50, Cloudy/amber tricomb production.

The plants are growing really really fast, very happy with their development so far, nothing weird on any of the 3 seedlings, this is gonna be a beautiful run, Stay tuned everybody!! 💛💚❤️👨‍🌾

The colours are popping! I’ve started to taper off the nutrients, I don’t typically “flush” the plants, but rather taper nutrients down until I have been able to give straight phd water for the last 3-4 feeds, making sure to water until I get about 5-10% runoff. I’ve tried both methods , the other being that I pour like 10 gallons of water through the plant, and I can’t tell the difference with my smoke, still clean and very tasty. I did a small defoliation at the end of the week, and added a support pole for the 1 lady in the far back, she was already starting to lean… just a couple of weeks to go !

They start looking very dense now, i flushed a day ago and instantly fed 8liters per pot with 650ppm ripen so the runoff is also in the 600 range. Now there is 9 days left with this feeding it will kick in hard now. All buds are rockhard there is no fluf anywhere in the plant as these are small plants and can only focus on nice marure buds. I love this strain i think this has a very good leaf to bud ratio and fattens up really fast also not much stretch diring the preflower. See u next week at the harvest day.

everything is going well.

What’s growing on everybody?!?! Exciting week in my Banana punch grow! The plants are really growing quickly now. Got the light cycle switched over to 12/12, got my first layer of trellis screen put up so I can start weaving branches through. I also started the bloom feed today, which just substitutes the grow for the bloom as far as my botanicare line goes, I like to use a small about of MOAB to really get my plants to start flowering. I’ll have more boosters coming on in the later weeks of flower. I will continue with my IPM regiment of spraying Athena IPM twice a week until the third week of flowering, which at that point I will cut off all sprays. I plan on running this strain until my planned harvest date which is 3/13-3/20. I vegged until my plants were telling me they were ready to go to bloom, I let the shape and hardiness of my plants dictate when to flip them, I wasn’t rushing them. I’m excited to see how everything looks in the coming weeks! Thanks for looking, As always, Happy Growing everyone!
