Week4 🍓

Here we are at the harvest of one of the masterpieces of the season, Rainbow Sherbet Automatic by Zamnesia. ** We remind everyone that we have grown two plants per strain, one without the aid of any technique and the other instead worked with the techniques described below. Technique used // The plant was worked with the MAINLINING technique, particularly successful in this case because I managed to create the main stem parallel to the soil in a truly elegant way. We waited for the second internode and did the TOPPING (at the second to lengthen the vegetative phase in autoflowering plants, it is also better to keep the stem low); from this topping a MAINFOLDING was done cleaning everything that was underneath in the underlying internodes and leaving only the two mini branches to grow as a result of the first topping, the Mainfold precisely (** IF YOU LEAVE OTHER BRANCHES YOU CAN'T TALK ABOUT MAIN LINING THE NAME ITSELF SAYS IT). We lowered the two branches with the arches in LST up to the third internode of each respective branch and we did the TOPPING once again, from here the plant was left to grow directing it with LST as best we could. I probably left a little too much stuff underneath, I could have cleaned a little more. Better with the techniques or normal? It is a plant with a medium-high distance between internodes, the Mainling was truly perfect. This time I am inclined towards the plant worked with the techniques. This is another confirmation that MAINLINING on AUTOFLOWERING in my opinion is only indicated in plants with medium-high internodal distance. If the plant is a declared tall plant, in short, this work can be done, if it is short it can be done too but keep in mind that it remains small. Flower quality // The buds resinified very well, in fact probably something more than very well. I love the resins that are produced in winter. You can see it in the macros at different distances, there is a lot of resin well distributed. The buds are also nice and hard and look much better than the plant left to grow straight which was super resinous anyway. We washed the buds, it is essential, try following the Zamnesia guide and you will see how your buds will taste! Fertilizers // I am very happy with how I managed to unload the plant which at a certain point before going to flush was fed for a few days only with additives and then went to flush and we are discolored enough. This is a yellow that satisfies me to go to crop and vaporize a delicious plant with no residue of nutrients inside. She smells so sweet I can't wait to try her. I've stretched her out a bit more and top dressing. She is getting so frosty.

This grow was so amazing!! The purple punch’s came out super sticky dense nugs, super frosty , an a huge smell of blueberry muffins! 10/29: flowing on autopilot At this point. I did not have to do anything with them this week. They have recovered from that terrible stress from a massive defoliation. The smell is not very strong, but of you get close to the buds, they smell pretty bad honestly. Lol. Its a weird smell. Bot sure how to describe it. Kinda like a bitter chemical. Hopefully that is not the end result of the terps. I am very disappointed now that i did not get one of the really purple phenos. The clones are doing great and have been potted in 1 gallon pots. Not sure i end up keeping any of them now that i know i do t have the plant that i wanted and i al not convinced that i will even like any of these yet.

Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

G'Day mates, its that time of the week again-Our Update from Down Under. Well the girls have likely entered pre flower or Pre pre flower if thats a thing, if its not it is now k. Last dose of grow boost given with a mushroom compost tea and next week will switch to a half dose of grow nutes and a half dose of bloom nutes given together. But for now just LOOK at the size of the hashys fan leaves-Seriously people can you tell me if thats normal for a plant that size to have leaves almost as big as the plant itself? Lucky I put her in super late (December she went into the ground from her lil pot) How big would this super cash cropper get if I put her in the ground in October like I wanted to? YIKES!! No wonder they say she can throw 3Lbs if you know what your doing. And had to tie down the Caramelo as she was going to shade herself to ruin, notice most of tie downs are just heavy bolts tied to the wires-not even in the ground, and if she can manage to LIFT these 2 OZ bolts off the ground as I have seen other plants do, well the buds will be MASSIVE!! The other plants were indicas though so lets see if this 70% sativa girl will have the stem strength to lift em.

This week I am going through and pulling the large fan leaves off , she is a slow flowering plant so I'm just doing my best to be patient with her !!! A true gem with an unique structure !!! I think this girl is gonna be a 10 week flower , she is just starting to get smaller flower spots . Still a beast !! Added a CO2 bag directly above the canopy , added a 150 watt "blurple" light above GG#4 S1( number 2) More picture notrs and videos to follow !!

Topped them all this week! Gonna attempt High stress training this run! Also transplanted them this week. Prolly gonna veg them for 7-8 weeks

Week 4’s in the box and these plants are lightning quick outta veg. We’ve confirmed the presence of at least 3 males and 1 guaranteed female so far. They’ve all started to hit vegetative maturity in full stride so it won’t be long until we look to flip. A couple have been topped once more for the sake of additional colas and if we get lucky, the remaining females may be suitable for a scrog. Either way, can’t be much happier about how well they’re growing at this stage. Here’s hoping it remains so through flower🤞. ***Notes: strongest plant to this week is first confirmed female. Prob a prime candidate for cuts and back pollination with the F1 pollen dump.***

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.

Gave them a good strip out! Was a jungle in there,undercarriage included! Smells still amazing one slightly more sour than the other. Ones bud structure is different to the others also. But looking great. Took quite the stretch ! Starting to slow up a bit now thankfully as running out of room !. Exited to see what the next weeks bring. Hopefully a realy nice harvest to come !

Always good seeds from RoyalQueen Seeds.. The pineapple kush was clones. Unfortunately something happened and it didnt got finished. Other than that, some different strains i have beeen growing over the years :)0
