5/17 Hello everyone! Not many pics this time around, it's been a busy week! Marie has grown so much in the past week that it touched the lamp, no burns only because it's a low power light and I have a feeling that the reflective box does much of the work when it comes to lighting. Anyway, today I spent some time attaching the lamp to the top of the box as you can see from the video, I think it works great! Watered as usual, 1lt PHd @6.3 +-0.2 when the soil dries (2-3 days) and added some extra Bio-Grow; I also took the occasion to defoliate again, I want more light to reach lower nugs and I've also noticed how when I defoliate the air in the box is much fresher and clean. Week 10 will mark the full switch to flowering nutes, I'll have 3 weeks to nuke the s**t out of this plant with nutrients before flushing, fingers crossed! Let's make some calculations over the growth in height: Week 8: +13cm Week 9: +15cm Assuming +15cm as the max growth rate (I sure hope so), and considering that this plant will take a maximum of 14 weeks from germination (14th being the harvesting week), we're looking at: Week 10: 83cm Week 11: 98cm Week 12: 113cm Week 13: 128cm Week 14: 143cm Which is a whole 25 cm more than my box! XD, hopefully, once we reach week 11 (so next week) it will slow down, after all, 120cm is the maximum height for these genetics (but I hope it's a bit lower like 100 cm would be perfect)

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The ladies had another great week, I got the Durban Nights, Red Hot Cookies, and Sundae Driverr's second toppings completed on day 26, and I got the second toppings done on the Green Crack and Bubble Runtz on day 27. Right now I have 4 mains on each plant, and I will top each one this week, probably in the next 3-4 days which will leave with me 8 mains. So the mainlines will be completed during week 5, and I plan to flip to flower around week 7. I am still seeing a couple holes on the leaves of the Sundae Driver, but I have treated her twice with neem oil and I don't see any new holes since the last application and I can't see any bugs even with magnification. I am still not sure if it was a bug issue or just a genetic thing. Either way I am not too concerned at this point because they all seem to be very healthy. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Big week this week.. Had to flip the lights, defoliate the full underside of the scrog that took hours .. Then decided to take some clones mid process ending me with hopefully Some good rooters. Also changing up my feeding schedule to a higher dose of nutes almost 1500 ppm. That should hopefully lay my coco with a healthy Base off minerals needed for the boosting that’s happening

This was a great experience and something I have looked forward to for 19 YEARS!!!!!! Thats right, my very first attempt was a summer when I was 14 in a backyard with mediocre results and no flower but that was my very first grow ever. 19 years later its fully legal and here I am getting 36 grams of decent bud grown by the sun in a very questionable cannabis climate!!! NO COMPLAINTS HERE!!!!!!!😋 This diary was never about getting giant buds or the best flowers but more about I'm growing ORGANIC PINEAPPLE EXPRESS IN MY BACKYARD literally a dream come true, to do this worry free, 100% legal. As far as the grow goes I will certainly have some new strategies next year, I think a plastic pot would have been better to keep the heat in at night time with the cool temps earlier on in summer. Maybe even some minor insulation would be a good idea?!?! I'll invent the canadian outdoor cannabis pot hahahah I did not scrog the lady but I did use some yoyos to pull down the outer branches to help the flowers get even light. Will try folair feeding as well next time. I also dried her outside! and trimmed her outside to, she got the full outdoor experience. I just cut the plant and hung her under the deck, worked out good as it was a fairly dry week and she dried out fairly slowly, a little quicker than the tent plants. Now in about a week or 2, maybe a small cure at least first I will be doing the end game goal, smoking endless doobies of pineapple express while watching pineapple express!!!!!!!!! She is ready to rock into flowering, it’s going to be a 🤡 show here in this tiny 3x3’ in about 3-4 weeks. Already you can see there isn’t much room. She received heavy foliar of Mg. Found out my organic calmag only consisted of 1% Mg not sufficient and obviously even at minimum recommend was not sufficient. Using all these root stimulants also are making her drink and absorb at an unbelievable rate. At 6 weeks tomorrow she takes in 2.3L per day!!! Automatic watering system would be welcomed with recommendations, Stay safe and keep it green!

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Update week 15: I have been flushing them for a week now. I will let them go an additional week and then I will probably harvest depending on the trichomes. They smell lovely, the DGx3BOG smells like gummy bears and the Tangie smells indeed very citrusy.
