Grow Report by Zuppler - Week 3 Veg Phase Ayy, what it do fam? Zuppler back on the check-in with that week 3 veg report, live from the capital. Yo, these girls ain’t playin’ no more – they really startin’ to stack up, lookin' thick in the canopy like they preppin' for somethin’ big. We still runnin’ that Advanced Nutrients like clockwork, straight through that RO water, keepin’ it pure as a Miami night breeze. The nodes are gettin’ tight, leaves spreadin’ out nice and wide, takin’ all that light. I hit ‘em with a little scrog, just a lil’ bend here and there, makin’ sure that light hit every corner of the canopy. You already know I’m tryin’ to maximize that potential. Stems got that thick structure, and no signs of nute burn or nothin’. We’re talkin’ flawless execution, fam. At this point, it’s just watchin’ ‘em fill out, keepin’ the environment dialed in and lettin’ ‘em do their thing. We’re settin’ the stage for a strong finish when we flip ‘em to flower. Week 3 has just been wild there proper going for it

I (pre-moistened) worked in 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water, with my fingers into this high-porosity soilless growing medium. This variant is very dry, and seems to reject water, until moistened(3cu ft compressed, Agro a5-hp from local nursery). Even after the 2.5 gallons of water was worked in (with no runoff), there was still a dry patch at the bottom of the pot.. I figured it would start to absorb from the wet medium on top, over time. It is now Day 10, and the moistened medium never needed to be watered since day 1. The medium is almost dry enough to be watered (see final picture). Maybe one or two more days. I will poke/scratch the soil daily, to ensure that I wait long enough, to not over-water.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Nice strain to grow overall especially for the terps it produced, yield was more on the low side as expected from one for these "hype" strains or whatever you want to call them.

I removed a couple fan leaves and immature undergrowth. It's been a couple weeks in flower and no bud sites formed yet. I'm surprised. This strain must have a longer growth cycle over 9 weeks. Or she's just a late bloomer. Her pistils and first small bud sites are coming out after a bit over 2 weeks in flower. It is very bushy and thirsty so I trimmed it. This strain is showing less heat stress than the predecessor under the same light.

It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My Skunk Apple plant sounds like it's finally getting on track. After a rough start, it's good to hear things are looking decent. Hopefully, it'll keep looking better and better.

Final week

This little girl is loving life! 16 days old today! 6.4 ph water 18/6 light schedule watering when soil looks and feels dry.

This beautiful lady smells very strong,I swear I can't believe it's her 15th day of flower since I forced flower on August 3rd,smells just like OG kush but with a different tone of sweetness. Love this strain to pieces. On August 24th starts the 3rd week of flower 🌸🌱.

Day 101, been cutting off fan leaves on lower nodes, adding ice cubes and spraying cold water on buds. Expecting about 5 more weeks till harvest but I don’t know just guessing Also I don’t know how to change the question so I’m gonna put it here, has anyone tried to defoliate some smaller colas then tie them together will that be beneficial for bigger bud(promote one another) or is it better to leave oxygen to pass through, thanks

Something tried to nibble on Plant B, however there are no signs of pests and no further damage anywhere else (I have 6 other plants in the garden too). Plant A has already begun to develop stipules on its first set of true leaves too! Had their first feed on day 14 (2ml Fish Mix + 0.1ml Mono-silicic Acid), and were fed again on day 16 (2ml Fish Mix, 2ml Bio-Grow, 2ml Bio-Bloom, 0.1ml Mono-Silicic Acid).

Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 2) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. Tropi fängt an erste Farbakzente zu entwickeln in den Buds.

This cross between Cherry Pie and Chemdawg and do-si-dos It smells vaguely like brain cake. However, chempie has a stronger aroma than brain cake. strong terpenes of linalool, and the smoke was quite harsh and powerful with each hit. The nicest form and most substantial buds in this crop

First feeding since germnation. 3tbsp Dr Earth Veg, 1tbp Flower Girl with mushroom compost dressing. 1 BT foliar spray and 1 silica watering.
