Hello everyone, this is my first experience in this world, I have always been very passionate about it and I finally managed to realize this little dream of mine, I bought MAMBA NEGRA seeds, with a "Homemade" Growbox I'm starting to grow my little paradise.

So technically we are at week 8 but!! I messed up and added an extra germination week. Trio are looking great! One has been flowering for the last two weeks, the other two have just started their preflower so so I switched the Nutrients up to Sensi Bloom A&B also added big bud and fish shit to their flowering feed water. Ive been heavy on the defoliation on the larger two, to increase light penetration to the LST bud sites. As youll see in the video , ive been experimenting with the 90° LST clips and found they work amazingly!! However, the ends do snap as your plants grow, so they as seeming like a one time use for this brand at least.

At the beginning of week 2 the plants have grown fine, but also developed some yellow leaf-tips, which I assume is from the amount of light they receive. Therefore I decide to hang the both LED-fixtures higher. The LUMATEK ZEUS PRO 600W is now at 75 cm distance and the two SANlight Q6W-Gen.2 are at 90 cm distance from the top of the clones of CANNALOPE HAZE from DNA-GENETICS. The humidity inside the HOMEBOX-tent is kept permanently at 60% during veg. The grow-controller GROWBASE PRO from GROWCONTROL does a GREAT job in keeping a constant environment inside my growtent. As a precaution I put up some yellow sticky traps against fungus-gnats and also hang sachets with predatory mites from KOPPERT (=Thripex PLUS) on every plant. This will prevent spider-mites and thrips to invest my tent, since the predatory mites will eat them right away. I LOVE BIOLOGICAL TREATMENTS and decide on it every time instead of using chemicals, because I grow my own medicine here and dont want ANY CHEMICALS on my cannabis! 👍😎 At the end of week two I slightly increase the light intensity again, by adjusting the dimmers of my LEDs. The Lumatek is now set to 50% dimm-level and the SANlights are running at 60%. Until now there is not much difference to see between the two sides, all plants are healthy and doing well.

Week 1 of flush. I am watering her with pH'd water (5.5-6.5) 2-3 times daily. I am watering until roughly 50% runoff though not measuring. She has been fading for the last 2 weeks already and so her leaves are slowly drying out and dropping off daily. Gorgeous colours coming out of her though which makes flushing worth it for the sight alone.

SUMMARY: I flushed the NL with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres. I will now continue to flush until harvest on 10th April by which point she should have faded nicely and used up any residual nutes. I read that the each time you water/irrigate you draw oxygen into the root zone and this promotes growth and in turn helps to increase yield and so I will endeavor to water her twice per day now until harvest. Evening ladies and genitals, this week is amazingly better than the last few weeks. Reasons are: 1. i upgraded the fan in my grow tent. Its tall and oscillates. 2. I’ve figured out how to get the vapor from the humidifier directly into the tent as you can see in the video. As the extraction fan is running 24/7 it pulls in the air from the only open air intake hole pulling in the vapor. 3. I repotted from the teeny tiny pots into 2 litre pots with Sohum Living Soil. So I've upgraded the soil type. For a beginner like me this releases a lot of internal pressure from worrying about the nutrient deficiencies. With all that said the ladies have responded great. I’ve started to weigh each pot to guage how much water is being evaporated so i dont overwater. Some issues remain on the leaves from my previous overwatering but I’ve learnt that the damaged leaves will stay damaged. You can see the tips are hella bent in 1 pic at the ends. Hopefully it will be OK for the new leaves at least. I cut off damaged leaves on 2 of the girls but left the others. I want to see what happens when they are left to grow naturally and mindful of the fact that if defoliating at not the right intervals will stunt their growth . I will do LST but at the moment i cant cause they're not really big enough yet. Till next time, peace out. 420 right around the corner!

Day 91 and all 4 plants have been on ripen for 8 days. That has helped speed up the lemon pie so I will get something from her. I spotted a good few what I think may be spring tails swimming in the res, as its near my res change and I'm flushing after that I'm not to worried about them. Pineapple express has been bulking all week and trichomes are all cloudy, she looks ace. Jack herer also bulked up a bit more, she has cloudy and a few amber trichomes, she is ready for the flush. Gorilla cookies has put on a little weight this week, her trichomes are cloudy and Amber and lots of them, she was ready to flush a few days ago really. Lemon pie the one that's looked poorly all the way through has turned into a Swan. Colours have come out nicely and bud production is coming on nicely, she could do with another 5 to 10 days before flushing but I'm finishing her with the others. 2 more days on ripen then I'm starting to flush.
