Week 18 (Week 10 Flower) Grow Diaries Report – Part One: Wrapping Up the Journey 🌱 Pre-Harvest Reflections This week has been a mix of emotions as we approach the final chapter of this grow. Let’s talk about why we made the decision to pre-harvest portions of the Gorilla Melon and Papaya Zoap. While both plants have been incredible performers, a few buds on each started showing early signs of bud rot. This is an unfortunate but natural challenge when growing such dense and resin-packed colas. The decision to harvest those sections early was made to protect the rest of the crop and ensure quality and integrity for the remaining flowers. Vigilance is key in a packed garden like ours, and careful monitoring ensured the rest of the room remained safe and thriving. 🌈 A Symphony of Colors and Frost The grow room is a visual masterpiece this week, with shades of deep purples, vibrant greens, and golden hues taking over. The fading is absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the natural progression of the plants as they near the end. Combine this with the insane level of frost blanketing the buds, and it’s safe to say this is one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever cultivated. ✨ Spectrum Management: The Secret to Stunning Results The current lighting setup is a game-changer: • 50% whites to maintain overall balance and structure. • 100% reds for enhanced ripening and color development. • 100% UVs to boost resin production and amplify those trichome levels. The ThinkGrow LEDs paired with the TrolMaster spectrum control system have truly unlocked the garden’s full potential. Watching the plants sparkle under this setup feels like seeing stars on a clear night—magical and unforgettable. 🌟 Quick Recap: The Journey So Far From seed to this incredible moment, this grow has been a testament to precision and passion. From germination to veg and through flowering, every detail was carefully tuned, every decision made with intention. Along the way, we navigated challenges like pests, mold, and environmental shifts, proving that adaptability and dedication are essential. And here we are, ready to bring this journey to a close with nothing short of perfection. Week 18 (Week 10 Flower) Grow Diaries Report – Part Two: The Tools That Made It Possible 💡 ThinkGrow LEDs: These lights have been the heartbeat of the grow, delivering unparalleled spectrum control and efficiency. The ability to fine-tune every stage of the plant’s life cycle has been a game-changer. 🌬️ AeroFan System: Consistently circulating air while keeping the environment balanced and mold-free. The AeroFan’s role in preventing hotspots and ensuring even coverage cannot be overstated. 📱 TrolMaster System: The brain behind the operation, the TrolMaster system has provided unmatched control and precision. From monitoring temperature and humidity to dialing in lighting and CO2, it has truly transformed how I grow. 🏕️ Tent-X Setup: The foundation of the grow, this tent provided the perfect space for controlled cultivation. Its design maximized efficiency while keeping everything neat and manageable. 🌡️ Sensors and Monitors: Every parameter was tracked with pinpoint accuracy. From VPD to soil moisture, the sensors ensured every need of the plants was met in real-time. Each tool, piece of gear, and setup component has worked seamlessly together, creating a true ecosystem of excellence. This grow wouldn’t have been the same without them. Ending with Gratitude and Excitement To the community: thank you for joining me on this incredible journey. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just tuned in, your support has been everything. From the lovers to the critics, you all push me to grow (pun intended). To the sponsors: ThinkGrow LED, TrolMaster, Aptus Holland, Pro-Mix Soil, and everyone else involved—your products are not just tools; they’re inspirations. And finally, to these plants: you’ve taught me patience, resilience, and the beauty of the process. 🔥 Next Up: Stay tuned for the epic harvest and a deep dive into the final results, from trichomes to yields and beyond. The end is just the beginning of the next adventure. 🌟 Let’s finish this grow strong! 🌱✨ Growers Love. Welcome to the jungle, Growmies! 🌿🔥 The plants received their first round of organic fertiliser last week, and judging by their growth, the root systems are healthy and well-supplied with nutrients. And yeah - growth is looking pretty great! 😎 I’ll start defoliating in the next few days, since it’s already getting crowded in the grow space. Let’s go! 🚀 Stats so far: 💧 Watering: 1L every other day 💦 Humidity: ~70% RH 🌡️ Temp (lights on): 26–28°C 🌡️ Temp (lights off): 20–22°C 📈 Avg. VPD (lights on): ~1.0 kPa

So far so good The blueberry g13 is tall with big buds it would seem the crystals are already in full force. The white widow has lots of leaves and I can’t see any crystals yet. The red dragon is looking good crystals are starting to show I wish I would have taken more leaves off the white widow. Smell is still just normal All in all a good week. The buds are growing bigger every day I expect they should be joining up by the end of next week

Such a great week! One of the best weeks is seeing the colas start to develop. Makes me happy to be a grower!! This week I was playing around a little with my temps/humidity, trying to get a better understanding of VPD. I'm sure most growers on here have or are currently battling Rh fluctuations inside their grow tent. As plants age, especially during flower, they release moisture into the air causing Rh levels to increase. Also every time you feed you are adding water (moisture) into the air which in late stages typically you feed/water 1G plus each time per plant. That is a lot of water! Depending on your setup you may not be able to keep your Rh down in the mid-high 50s. With most VPD charts there are "sweet" spot ranges to keep your temps/humidity levels at for the right VPD. So in the end I have raised my temps up to 28-30 C and my humidity is now 58-65%. After adjusting my levels, I noticed a HUGE improvement in plant production and how healthier each plant looked. The Purple Kush was having deficiency issues and with it being only a week away from the start leeching (flushing), I kept feeding it as normal. Buds were looking really nice compared to the previous Purple Kush. The Moby Dick's were also starting to show signs of deficiencies. My guess is to be Potassium (P) or Phosphorous (K) deficiency but It didn't play around with the nutrients. At the end of this week, according to the Remo feeding charts, week 5 is an increase in nutrients so I just let them go. My feedings are pretty much consistent each week which is about 5 feeds each plant. I do the lift technique and when I can lift the pot with little to no effort I feed.

27 weeks in and she decides to reveg, I never could of expected that Lamb’s Breath would be harvested before Monday’s Blue, and Blue is looking so delicious and the smell, dam… the only thing I am loving is the thickness of the bud and it’s still growing, talk about good news.

The final week! 12 weeks since germination, 11 since first sprout. These Apollo F1's vastly outgrew their advertised size and bud density. I will be cutting them down tomorrow and updating with the harvest page and photos soon. Great second grow!

This grow turned out to be quite a journey. Originally, this run was meant to be a simple between-grow project, something to keep the season going outdoors, without too much effort. But plans changed, and the Orange Sherbet ended up in the tent, where it took a completely different direction than expected. She grew big and strong early on, but the LST was tricky. she didn’t respond very well at first, and shaping her the way I wanted took a lot of time and patience. It was interesting to see how she stretched and filled out later, but overall, the structure stayed somewhat awkward to manage. Throughout the grow I struggled with CalMag and potassium balance. I tried several adjustments, sometimes with high CalMag doses, but it never fully stabilized. It’s still unclear if that came from the strain itself or from the BioBizz line, but it made the mid-to-late phase more difficult than I had hoped. The flowering time was also much longer than advertised. the breeder mentions around 9 weeks, but in reality this one took closer to 14–15 weeks total. What was supposed to be a quick side project turned into a long, demanding run. On the bright side, she delivered a very solid yield. a bit over 160 g of trimmed buds plus another 50 g of popcorn, well above 1 g/W. The aroma is lovely after 10 days of curing: creamy, with vanilla and a subtle orange note returning. However, the buds are airy, not as dense as I hoped. The effect and flavor are great, but visually it’s more on the average side. Even so, this grow was one of the most instructive I’ve done. I learned a lot about deficiency management, humidity control, watering and how far genetics and environment interact. Going forward, I’ll take a break from autos and focus on photoperiod strains again. I just prefer the control and predictability they offer. All in all: not my prettiest grow, but a very valuable one. About drying in dry ferm/dry age and regular drying: the material in the bags took a few days longer to dry which is said to be good (regular dry was 7 days, bags was 9 or 10). initially I think the buds from bags look better but now in curing I can't really tell a difference, not visually and not in the nose. Let's see how everything evolves over time but honestly I am not expecting it to differ a lot from regular drying.

So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.
