Moved Maggie to the corner she has a stretch going that I HOPE is ending and I dont want to set the lights to her. Put a block under Brandy to move her up level with Layla. Trained down Maggie this growth needs to end, it was already stressed. I have been using lemon juice as a PH UP since we went organic late last spring. Because of all the problems I have been looking into a lot of things further and found that lemon juice begins to degrade as a PH up after as little as an hour. A 6.0 PH water gallon can go to 6.5ish in 24 hours simply sitting in a dark corner in a jug. One can imagine the variances in soil. Why I dont know but I am going back to chemical PH additives post haste in fact its already done.

Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. The Dr. has been vegging for full 8 weeks and on the 9th I switch to 12/12 . In the next few weeks she'll be stretching even more I guess. If she happens to stretch that wild as I have read, I'll have to struggle trying to stop her taking over my reduced grow room and I don't like to apply serious pruning after she has grown. Besides, my hypothesis is that as I chose a big pot, she might be growing aerially for a long time until the roots tell to stop. Regarding fertigation, I apply once a day a solution 1.3-1.4 mS/cm EC (inflow) using Grow fertilizer alternating with Bloom fertilizer. I'm applying from today on a foliar spray to activate growth at this stage (this week and the two coming next). Day 54 (05/11) fertigation Bloom fert 0.3 g/L, CalMax 1.3 mL/L, VitaMax 1mL/L, pH 6.1, EC 1345 uS/cm and Foliar spray. Iturned on the lights manually as I got up and saw the lights were out. She will have 4 additional dark hours today, but I wouldn't worry. Day 55 today I did some work on rebel shoots and that's all! Day 56 I fertigated with a Bloom fertilizer solution 1.3 EC inflow and 0.9 EC units run/off, I can increase the EC a bit higher until I reach 1300 uS/cm in the roots but as I see her growing fine and without deficiencies, I'll stick to this amount for precaution. Later I sprayed leaves with Foliar fertilizer just when the lights had gone off. Day 57 Today Friday is vegetative fertilizer's day! Day 58 happy Saturday to everyone be it autoflowering or photoperiodic! Thank God for your blessings. Today I had to replace one of the 50 W cob led but fortunately, lights are all shining now. She's been very shiny this morning too. Day 59 I'll put her under 13,5 hours darkness a day.

Nice! So I fixed the issue with the discoloration I believe. Did not change the nutrients at all, only the PH. So what I learned originally from someone was to keep the PH between 5.5 and 6.5, so naturally I just kept it as close to 6 as possible as this is the middle. Doing some research on the deficiency I learned that Calcium gets absorbed best at 6.2 - 6.4 PH. So I have started to create a wave pattern up and down with the PH from 6.3 to 5.7 and back up again. Any issues with this? This IS what i'm so posed to be doing right?? The plants seem very healthy but the flowers seem to be growing a little slower then I would like. Nutirents is around 1350 and I'm using the same line and ingredients as previous very nice harvests? Maybe i just need to give the ladies anoerher week or 2 to put on some weight??

First week of flower the girls are shaking and dancing nicely in the breeze. Growing like a champs. 1 white widow, 2 Gelato and 1 CbD Northern Lights. A new addition was added a week ago white cookie. I placed the seed directly in soil and a week later sprouting up beautifully.

Growing great. No large issues. Just fighting the leafs every day. Pulling 20-25 leafs per day? Temps are lowering at night, want to say 62F is about the lowest i have seen. No bugs! No flowers yet, lite concerns on height. i have about 3-4 feet max to work with. can always scrog again or super crop.

2nd and 3rd week had slow growth due to low temps I bought a heater to bring temps back to optimum levels and at 25c they are thriving

Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

5th week. Well. its time to start pre-flowering stage. Next 2 days will be 18/6 light period. then 2 days 16/8, then 3 days 14/10, then 12/12. Total width 25cm. Do you like my videos about grow? P1: BlueBerry Cookies Izqui <--•--> Ocean Grown Cookies Dere -----SUMARIO SEMANAL----- El crecimiento de esta semana ha sido brutal, las BlueBerry han doblado su tamaño, han pasado de los 15 a los 31 y eso que les he realizado la poda apical. Es una lástima que no tenga imágenes de la distribución de ramas de las BBerry pues es muy bonita, no obstante si le echáis un vistazo al diario de las Ocean Grown, en este hay un vídeo en el que se ve perfectamente la estructura de las plantas, que aunque difiere un pelín son muy parecidas. -----CALENDARIO DE RIEGO----- 28/09/19 DAY 27 - 1,5 l con todos los nutrientes semanales @ (1,2 EC | PH 6,2 | 25,1ºc)
