04/09 - Started minor defoliation. Shes getting too bushy and blocking bud sites and causing moisture spots. Will remove a couple of leaves every other day for the next week. 05/09 - Full res change. Realised I mucked up the ratio. Went 35ml Micro, 25ml grow, (Shouldve been the other way around, so added an extra 10ml grow), 15ml Bloom and 15ml Silica. EC 1.4, PH 5.7. Will keep an eye on her and add some additional grow if she does alright. 06/09 - Minor defoliation. Removed about 12 leaves total so far. LST to spread the canopy a little more. PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.4, Water level dropping. Seems to be stretching and pistils have begun to form! Responding well to the uptick in nutes from the res change. 07/09 - Leaf tucking, LST and took a leaf or two. Shes getting her stretch on for sure. PH stable at 5.8, EC stable at 1.4. Water level still dropping. 09/09 - After much deliberation, I ended up going for a fairly heavy defoliation session and am now going to leave her the hell alone until at least mid flower. I removed a large chunk of shaded leaves and bud sites and effectively ended up lollipopping her. I also removed all the old LST, and added a couple to pull leaves out of the way. The canopy remains largely unchanged, but shes much more airy now, and Im seeing far fewer damp spots where leaf perspiration has occured. Now to see if I can keep my hands off for a few weeks!

As I am growing automatic plants arriving in the 5th week it goes into pre-flowering and I was thinking that my 140w led panel would not suit me in the 3 foot cover of the grow. So I invested in a new 240w panel that will provide me with excellent coverage. This week I added the koolbloom to meet the needs of the plant in this phase of transition to flowering. The first pre-flowers started to appear and the plants showed good vigor. Some brown spots on B2 show some magnesium deficiency, decreasing the watering interval and increasing the callMag a little.

Salut les copains 👍👍 Bon semaine 5 de floraison, et je vais attaquer bientôt le rinçage . Les plante on fortement gonflé c'est dernier jours. Aujourd'hui nous sommes au jour 61 du cycles des plantes . Comment dire que la GC reste la meilleur variétés que j'ai pu faire . Et aujourd'hui je ne suis pas déçu . La Strawberry et vraiment une surprise de dingue moins haute mais bien plus dense en Bud c'est impressionnant. L'odeur des deux et juste inexplicable 😍

Day 14, some supercropping Day 15 .. it’s under control 😂🤣 Day 19 lights almost maxed to tent height unless I zip tie led to the top ceiling frame, last bit of monster cropping. Lost 2 top nugs to physical led burn but it’s ok. Everything is fine. Still going very hard on soluble N, and Pk along with b+, fishsh!t, microbial mass, humic acid. Carbs every day with organic booster

Happy New Everyone 😀 🙏🙏 I have now got all of my Photoperiod Girls under a Greenhouse. Its only an elcheapo from Ebay but I reinforced it with a heap of good old Gaffer tape and Zipties. I also ran guide ropes to the ground at the corners for Protection against heavy winds so hopefully it'll stay put. The Wifi Plant just keeps growing and growing and will soon need some type of branch support and I'm thinking of using some of those plant yo yo's. The white residue you can see on the leaves is Diatomaceous earth. I mixed some into the worm/mollasses tea just before I sprayed my plants with it. It acts as a bug deterrent and can't hurt the plant in any way. I also mix some into the worm tea that I feed straight to the soil as Diatomaceous Earth is a fantastic source of Silica which we all know is extremely beneficial to your Plants Health. As Far as my super soil is concerned , so far I have not needed to feed the plants any fertilisers as the soil is providing everything the plant needs. All ive been adding is biodynamic food for the soil itself to keep everything under the surface happy and well nourished. Once flowering begins next month I will need to add an organic Booster to the soil that will replace any depleted resources. Because I only feed water throughout the grow there is no need for any final flush I can simply Harvest when it's ready and dry/cure etc. Thankyou for reading this weeks update 2nd January 2020 👍

This week I transplant her into her last pot ,a 6 gallon air pot, as some top grew taller ,I top them and fim them depending of the space needed to be fill with some more tighting it down but she grew strong and took everything I did flawlessly

48 hrs. of dark are up and its time to chop. pots have dried from the last flush. These did not stretch as much as I would have liked I will have to adjust my light better next time and there was a lot of lower development near the media, hence not enough air flow. when I flushed the pots the water level went up to the lower growth on the Think different and the bottom was wet and rotted the bottom half. I did a mild lollypop on them I'm early flower it just was not enough, LESSON LEARNED. Chopped on 2/8/20 whole plant drying low and slow 54% RH 68F for 10-14 days then will trim and jar. 981 grams wet with the lumber. lets see how they dry. I got a rosin press coming today I will squeeze all the trim and larffy buds into dabs yummy! All in all I recommend these genetics I will try the think different again I'm sure I just got a recessive dwarf gene. I have seen other grows of this same strain same breeder that are huge and stacked. thanks again to Fast Buds 420 and Green Buzz Nutrients for suppling the goods for the grow. This was my first time with any of this so I messed up a bit by drowning the seeds in the beginning.. thankfully I caught it in time and raised them closer to the top of soil. The next day I started seeing my little girls sprouting. It’s now day 5 and they are looking pretty healthy .... I think? Let me know if you see anything I could improve on!!

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Really happy with how these girls are looking, got some amber trichomes on the top of the tallest buds but everything else is either milky or clear. Set the nutrients at the start of the week and then have just been topping up with ro water every day. Everything is leaning over with the extra weight now and turning some beautiful autumn colours. I added a UV light from migro and have been increasing the duration from 30mins each day by an extra 10mins until I reach 2 hours of uv light per day in the middle of the light cycle. I read quite a bit of research about uv light and thc increase so decided to give it a try

This ladies without a doubt one of the easiest growing strains for me. She has not wilted or showed even a little bit of fatigue despite the 20 hour light cycle. Her friend on the other hand seems to do that every few days. The smells wonderful already very strong & smells almost a lot like the classic strawnana. I'm so excited to see how she grows this next week!!!!! Her trichomes are really beginning to spread and thicken. I hope you enjoy! Hi all. Been pretty rough this week. Had a lot of painkillers and time in bed. Thankfully another member of Team green was on hand to help me pot them up. Thanks again buddy. As you can see they are now in the finishing pots. Taking a gamble with el cheapo soil as funds are tight. From the first impressions, it seems nice and airy. The pH is a bit low at 5.5 but I have to pH my water down from 7.8 anyway. So I will keep a close eye on the soil pH over the next few weeks to see what goes on. Judging by the explosive growth since the transplant. I can only assume they love it. Happy growing everyone! Leafy- Team Green.
