Not ready

Magic Melon is taller and has grown faster since the first week, now it's buds are growing twice as fast as the Super Silver Haze. Lights are 12 inches from top of buds.

Week 13 in the books! was a full flush week, as I will be harvesting mid wk 14. Ive been watching tricomes, taking snipits of sugar leaves, and checking them over. These are 2nd & 3rd gen grows, from prev collected random strains.. In other words, Its always a Surprise as to what strain comes out. Ive got 3 different strains here.. a Sativa looking, a very White strain, and 2 plants of a colorful purplish strain.

24 Oct 2021 Week 16 began yesterday, but the first watering of the week was today. I’m keeping up with the flush, starting the 2nd week today. Hopefully I’ll be able to harvest in a few days. My Trio is looking really lovely. Their buds are covered in trichomes that glisten under the lights. They are starting to darken in color in some areas like their mother did. They may take on some pinkish/purple hues before it’s all done. Some of their leaves are turning purple as well. The sugar leaves are somewhat dark, but still green. All three of them are very nice to look at, and their smell is super strong! It’s really nice in my grow room! Yesterday I went out and got some more of those support sticks from the local home store and provided support for all of the branches that needed it. Which was a lot! I got 7 new support sticks and used them all. All of the branches are now supported and flourishing! Today each of my girls received a gallon of properly pH’ed water, and each had a sufficient amount of runoff from which to gather measurements. The process went as follows: C1 & C2 had an initial pH of 6.9, and C3’s initial pH was 6.8. I added .2ml of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.4 for C1, and 6.3 for C2 and C3. TDS going in was 88 ppm for C1, 86 ppm for C2, and 84 ppm for C3. Runoff measurements were a little weird. The runoff pH for C1 was 5.9. The TDS was (at first) 600 ppm. I thought that was an incredible drop from the other day, so I did it again. It was 603 ppm the second time. Ok, moving along nicely! The runoff for C2 was pH - 5.8, and TDS was 1101 ppm. 😳 That’s a lot more than C1. C3 had a pH of 5.6, and TDS of 1212 ppm. Which is even more; so I measured a little more from C1 again, and the 3rd time it measured 736 ppm. 🤔 That seems weird to me, but I’ll keep an eye on it. If it continues to be that low then I will end up harvesting it before the others which won’t be so terrible. I’ll just have to wait and see. The temperature in the tent was 81F, and humidity was 47%. My ladies are looking lovely and growing better than I could have hoped for. This grow has been awesome, but I can’t wait to be done. Happy growing everyone! 27 Oct 2021 Feeding/flushing time again! I was somewhat perplexed the other day when I got the runoff reading for the TDS in C1. It was 500-600 ppm less than C2 & C3 respectively. Since I was having some issues with the TDS meter I thought that IT may be the cause. I made a note to check on it today, and there seems to be no problem with the TDS meter at all. Keep reading for details. My plants are still looking as lovely as I could ever have hoped for! C1 has started showing more color changes than the other 2, and the only thing I can say the difference is, is that I defoliated some of C1’s larger fan leaves last week, and wasn’t able to do the same for the other 2. That is the ONLY thing I can think of that has been different between all 3 plants this entire grow. Regardless, all 3 plants are looking wonderful! Today each of my lovely ladies received a gallon of property pH’ed water with an expected amount of runoff for testing. The preparation went as follows: C1 & C2 had an initial pH of 6.9, and C3 was at 7.0. I added 0.2ml’s of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted the pH of all 3 gallons to 6.3. TDS going in for C1 & C2 was 85 ppm, and C3 was 84 ppm. Runoff levels were different for all three plants. C2’s runoff pH was 5.7, and TDS was 1041 ppm. C3’s pH was 5.6, and TDS was 1059 ppm. Last time C1 was significantly lower than the others, and I thought that maybe it was a TDS meter issue. Evidently it wasn’t. C1’s TDS today was 526 ppm! 😳 still much lower than the others, and pretty much ready for harvest. The temperature in the tent was 81F, and humidity was 43%. Although harvest time is much closer, I don’t believe it will be done in time for this month’s grow diary of the month contest. So sad, but that’s life. Happy growing everyone! See you again soon. 29 Oct 2021 Today is the last day of week 16. I was planning on continuing the flush today, but remembered something that I had forgotten about…. I remembered the branch that had broken off of C1 back on October 10th in week 14. She had held on for well over a week in a can of water, but finally her leaves started to droop. I hung it up all by itself in my small tent to dry. Until today that is! I took it outside and trimmed it on my deck. Even outside, in a pleasant breeze, the amazing smell of this branch was easily detected. It’s kind of windy, rainy, and chilly here today, but still …. That sweet blueberry muffin smell was there. Her buds; still covered in the dried, crystallized trichomes were super sticky! I must admit that they are the stickiest buds I have grown to date. I weighed the dry bud to add to the grand total of C1’s harvest later. Then I ground it up and smoked it. All I am going to say is that from my reaction to smoking it; I have decided that no additional flushing is needed. After all, what I smoked today broke right before I started flushing, and I could taste nothing other than what I would hope to taste. So my fellow Growmies; I am ending this week right here. Very happy with the progress of this one. She has a lot of tops and is starting to build some buds. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. The run is pretty much on autopilot at this point. Just going to keep the juice pumping to them and keep an eye on them to make sure they are happy. Nutrients per gallon .75 tsp maxibloom .2 tsp liquid koolbloom .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

The plants have taken to their Earthboxes, especially #1 with the BuildASoil Light. The Earthbox with my Coots mix was the runt, plus I damaged the roots during transplant so it has an uphill battle, but I wouldn't count it out yet. It was looking droopy and with slight discoloration, but after a drench of Kashi Blend Tea (1/3 cup Kashi Blend, 1 teaspoon blackstrap molasses in 1 gallon of water for 24 hours) it perked right up. As for preventative pest management, I've kept doing foliar applications every 4 days of EM-FPE -> EM-1, next week I will incorporate the just-finished EM-5. I made a JADAM wetting agent (JWA) but I have realized even local bottled water is too mineral-heavy for it, so I will need to find a source of distilled water if I want to use it in my foliar regime. Next week I will begin doing LST to get some more tops going. At some point I plan to add a trellis, I have been busy with work but I will find the time to set up something, preferably a trellis that can move with the Earthbox to facilitate maintenance and not have them fixed in place for the entire training and flowering cycles.

Again this strain was a pleasure to grow and very resistant to any changes or nutrients. I just wish I had more at the time but it was a feee seed and I only had one. Would be a decent harvest of some juicy tasty pineapple goodness 🍍💚

This will be a bit of a challenge, one of the LCC is 45cm while the others are 25cm. I gave them little ramps to keep canopy even and all 3 are still looking healthy.

So I'm flushing this week, Sunday I used Flawless Finish and watered heavy early, and did a 2nd plain ro flush 6 hours later, I did the same thing Monday. Tuesday I did not give any water at all, Wednesday I flushed the same way with Flawless finish, but water 2 times after that night, I let everything dry Thursday and Friday, It is Saturday, Today I have used only RO water, I am done adding anything. I think I could call it good, but I am going to keep things going after today, tomorrow/Sunday, and Monday, I will not water again, Tuesday the light will not even come on and I will give it a couple days of dark to finish. I could use some tips on how to get some better pics. I try, I really do, but I'm not getting the pics my eyes are seeing, so in the center of the area is all yellow and marooning leaves, and the buds have a pink tint in that area. The trics are getting there, but not yet, I figure by end of week they should be right... almost all cloudy now, a few clear left, but barely any, the few amber here and there, but I'm also not taking a piece to check from the top either, I gettin a look at a few small little buds, near the top, but not the top, I feel like I'm close... , So anxious had to phone a friend to tell me why to wait today... lol, I'll test my runoff ppm's tonight just to be sure, but the way the coco is taking the water makes me think its clean. I'm always ready at the end, Garden of Green seeds have ALWAYS made me look like a great grower. I'm excited, The smells, is very strong, it has a sweeter smell, next week I should have harvesting pics... Thanks for checkin it out

Introducing Comeback Kush #71. harvest day is the 25th of December.

Increased light intensity to 85% Girls are drinking 1.5 l a day. Decided to go with multi feeding this time instead of crop steering. We will see the difference. At this point they are fed 3 times a day 600-450-450ml. 150ml shots every 10 minutes.

Beginning of week 8 and seems like a long way to go. Most of the hairs still white. Hopefully the buds will fill in more! As right now I’m planning to take it 10+ weeks. This week I will lower the CO2 slowly 50 PPM every day until I will reach 800PPM. Also I will lower the light intensity by 2% every day. This week I lowered the day temp to 79 degrees and next week I’m playing to lower it every further to 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Water temp is at 68 degrees and probably from week 9 I will lower it to 66. Beginning of week 8 TDS is at 550PPM. I sent adding the Late bloom enhancer from Current Culture! End of week 8 : lowered the TDS to 470ppm , she seems that it not eating so much nutrients anymore. She still drinking 3 gallons of water every single day.

Just tucking away 🤣🤣🤣 Last weeks feeding was slightly too high for transition. I am realizing that the amount of fulvic/humid acid reduces the need for full strength ratios. This week we are going to feed 800 again, as the need for ppm’s has increased, but I am going to stay under 850 unless I see deficiency in leaves. The photosynthesis plus has been added to the mix. I know, I have recharge. However, there are certain strains in PP that recharge does not have. Specifically there is a strain for absorbing more from the lights. I have some purple stems from the light being a little to intense. We will be adding a little more cal-mag to the next feeding also. Looks like feeding will take place Tuesday/Wednesday this week. All plants are female and no Herms present for the party 😂😂 10-25 did a pre-feed of cal-mag, 8 oz. Later this evening I will do the main feeding 3 cups. The ratios are still 8-8-8 at 800 ppm’s. The extra ppm’s come in the form of extra cal-mag. Did some tucking as I am in stretch phase. So I work with a grower who is 76 years old. He has some old school techniques that make sense. He pre-waters his containers with 25% water. The remainder 75% is either nutrients OR additives that need to be added to the water. I took it a step further. I added cal-mag to the pre-water stage. Then I fed the nutrients second stage. Cal-mag is the “carrier” for nutrients throughout the plant. “Adding the nutrients after, makes it easy for the nutrients to fully saturate the soil and reach all the roots. This also prevents salt build up.” Ron’s Words. I will say my containers held double the amount of water using his method. 10-28 added some reflective material around the sides. My Growmie at RedmanFarms suggested I add it to the room. I am inside of an open air room for flowering cycle. Today was watering day. First watering was a light dose of cal/mag. Second watering was kelp, seaweed, photosynthesis plus, monk beans SST, fulvic/humic acid. One of the plants ( top left) seems to have a sulpher/magnesium deficiency ( it’s also the one with the soil I don’t like). I made some Iron/Tone tea by Espoma at 200 ppm’s and did a foliar feed. So far I see some progress on purple recessing and the growth has started to match the other 4. I have 1 more week of tucking to do and then I do a HEAVY defoliation on day 21. After than I won’t touch the plants other than feedings and water.

And the winner is….. Divine Kush! To say the least, she fought the most and she really shined through. If you see the video above 👆 you can see how wowed we are by her, not only because she sprouted her own seed within herself but also because it shows how much moisture she had to deal with and she sort of found an interesting way to disperse of it! We did try to plant her seedling but unfortunately it did not survive but we are still in awe of it happening before our eyes. Nature is amazing and Our Kushy girl is very much appreciated, she has taught us quite a bit this year. WOW 🤩💚✌️ Plz note, we totally forgot to weigh her.

Bud sites everywhere now, I’m hoping these are gonna yield over 100grams to see me through this epidemic that we’re all going through right now. They’ve all been great genetics to run, I’ve learned a lot from these girls and realised just how nitrogen hungry they can be and also how cal mag is essential because coco seems to hold onto it if it’s not added in.
