12. Woche in den nächsten Tagen werden beide Phenos geerntet um Platz zu machen für die nächsten Pflanzen

Day 28 veg: All is going daily good with these 3 ladies from Exotic Seed. The burn in the leaves is from a treatment forbrhe horrendous fungus gnat issue that ibhad hoped to managed but they are winning. lol. I am daily spraying them with home made treatment of steeped tobacco and dish soap with bicarb of soda. I caught the leaves with aspray here and there leading to the discolouration and burn The Strawberry cola is doing well and forming a nice top cola with good height supporting side branching . hopefully I can keep them together as the canopy grows. There are hints of white hairs on the bracts so flowering is close. Herz O.g is a big lady so far .Her f.i.m went good and could benefit the end yield . Shebhas fairly wide spacing on her frame so far so I will have to watch the stretch carefully. White hairs at the bracts are showing her female gender through so another close to flowering. she will need some l.s.t to stay in good light. Monster Mash looks happy enough and is keeping pace with the others so far. let's see what next week reveals. be safe folks

It's Flush Time! Officially in their 7th week - The last day of feeding was on 8/23 - They have been receiving water on their normal feeding schedules and plan on keeping this water regimen until it's over - I am anticipating some of the plants to finish before others. Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic #2 definitely (front left looking in the tent) looks as though she will be the first to finish. I think that the GMO (back right when looking in the tent) seems to be the late finisher - she will most likely go 9 weeks. As stated previously - super happy with the results of my first grow. I have to tip my hat to AC Infinity for their trigger system and their sensors - man they make it so much easier! As far as how all of the plants are going - all I can say is how proud I am to have cultivated these ladies and how much character and different traits they are showing this late into their cycle - each one seems to have its own unique smell - one smells much frutier, while another smells much more gassy. The GMO is on another level in terms of how she smells - I truly cannot wait to harvest and see how the smell changes during the curing process. Right now, she smells like GAS - with a hint of sweet. Out of all of the plants, I think I am the most happy with how the GMO has grown and how its buds have developed I am VERY happy that I took 9 cuts of the GMO and have them in Solo Cups currently, they are going into the tent as soon as there is room :) Appreciate the likes and follows!

Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like they’re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and I’m at a loss for what to do. I’ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know what’s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I don’t think the problem is genetic. It’s definitely root bound but that doesn’t cause contorted new growth like that. I’ve concluded that it’s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight I’m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until it’s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. I’m also going to give it a light defoliation. I don’t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I won’t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since it’s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I can’t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) I’ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be what’s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that I’m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be what’s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. I’m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I don’t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. It’s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. I’m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something I’ve been reading about called ‘soil compaction’. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they don’t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and it’s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didn’t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and I’m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I can’t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but it’s worth a shot. I’ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. I’m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think it’s the mystery problem. I’ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess I’ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I won’t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but aren’t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when they’re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called ‘paclobutrazol’ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldn’t have to pay people as much to trim it. I’ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. I’m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. 🤷‍♂️ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. It’s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that I’m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and it’s indeed under watered. I’m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I don’t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. I’m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

Everything is going very well no deficiency or over feeding I raised the ppm from 650-800 area to right at 1000 plants really seemed to appreciate that the best thing about this entire grow is the day to day progress you can very easily see this strain has been awesome and fun . Just did probably the last major defoliation the girls will see from here on out im just going to let them do there thing well thats all I got til next week 😎😎😎

The transition is officially happening—the plant has now fully entered the flowering phase!🌱 The stretch is kicking in, and it’s growing rapidly, really taking off this week. It looks incredibly healthy, with vibrant green leaves and strong development. Thanks to the LST, it has spread out beautifully, allowing for even light distribution and great bud site exposure. I’m really happy with how things are progressing and excited to see how the buds start forming in the coming weeks! This one is looking very promising.💪😎

Day 72: Welcome to week 11. Today I realized some more damaged leafs. I'm not sure, what it is. I've to ask here, now. But as I saw this and also, that the EC within the soil is increasing, I was thinking, that she is not able to consume the nutrients correctly. I checked my PH meter and I calibrated it wrong last week 🙈 So she got the wrong PH for about 2 days. I hope with the corrected PH, she is able to take the nutrients again. UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who answered my question. I have done 2 things now. I lowered the level of the LEDs to 7 in AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro to give less intensity to the upper colas. Secondly, I added some CalMag to the reservoir. I also added some distilled water to adjust the EC level and then checked the PH level. Day 73: For now, it does not look worse to me. I refilled the reservoir and adjusted the PH. I increased the CalMag Agent from 0.6 to 1.5 ml/L. Day 74: I checked again the symptoms and as I was feeding the PK booster to long, I strongly have to assume, that the CalMag issues she is showing, are the symptoms of too much PK for a too long time. I decided to clear the reservoir completely and added only a bit of CalMag to plain water and adjusted the PH. Day 75: Today I got a new and more reliable PH meter. It turned out, that the other one was still calibrated wrong and with that information, I assume it is a combination of the wrong PH for days and too much PK for too long. So, I'm happy, with my decision so far. Next time, I'll have to make a note, wenn to stop with the PK boosters ☺️ Learnings over learnings. Day 76: Today I was able to take some photos and also a video, to show how she looks now. Not too bad and I also checked the trichomes the first time today. It's looks like she is almost ready to harvest. I was aiming week 13 and with that tiny mistake, I guess she is ready someday next week (sorry, for the bad photo of the trichomes, I was not able to get a better one 🙈). I cleaned the reservoir and filled it with plain water @ 6.4. Day 77: End of the week and I want to share with you some buds of this monster. All plants are showing signs of being well on their way....its weird that some of the Gelat OG have grown so much larger than others despite the exact media and feeding regiment .. We noticed a few deficiency spots (pretty sure calcium) starting on the one plant which is furthest along in flower, we gave all plants 3ml/gal of calmag with the last watering and set our PH to 6., i think the plants are eating better after adjusting PH at least their color reflects it (the light and my camera really wash the color out in some photos) but they're still not as dark as I'd like, maybe a light grass green at the moment...we're going to try going up a few ml/g with their feed ...im always really apprehensive about feeding autoflowers, im so rough with my photoperiods that autos are really a learning curve lol and iv'e overdone it in the past ...The MarsHydro however is doing amazing! we can tell already she's going to make us some stellar bud..we have so many future plans after this..a SOG type grow in the 4x2 with the SP-3000 would be a blast! hey growmies I decided to switch to flowering, I am using ADV nutes with the dosage recommended by them and they seem to me in great shape, tonight I will do a defoliation in order to breathe better and get as much light as possible. I'll keep you up-to-date. good growth and happy day 💚🌳

Auto cinderella jack - Amazing week of growth. There are new nodes exploding from everywhere and its not showing signs of slowing down. They are currently loving the organic nutes and have started showing signs of flowering. Auto critical cheese - this plant has shot up recently. It was planted a week later that the ACJ but is growing some seriously fat fan leaves. Should be a nice yeilder. Peanut butter cookies - this girl is looking pretty sorry for herself. I am intentionally trying to keep her as small as possible so that I can get the autos out before flipping into flower but she is gonna be a beast. Will transplant into a final pot in the next day or so.

Hard Camo strain

This week will be mostly keeping an eye on tying down new shoots as we progress into early flower and things are still able to be bent. Also as we are going into a total of week 6 from seed, I am amending the top soil with 3 tablespoons per pot (7 gal) of the 2-8-4, for the flowering stage. Also adding 1 tablespoon of the 4-4-4 all purpose per pot. I originally messed up my measurements of nutrients. So the original medium had 6 tablespoons of 4-4-4 all purpose for a 7 gal pot with 1 tablespoon of 2-8-4 bloom. I have corrected those this week as well. As I continue through the week I will be keeping an eye on the environment, keeping humidity lower and watering top soil to keep moist. Also some light defoliation where necessary to increase light penetration while I continue to LST. So far things still seem healthy, aiming water to be with a PH of between 6.2-6.6 and dechlorinating for 24 hours. Strain is sitting lower and bushy, but quite a few bud sites.
