Cookies gelato hat an den beiden oberen Mains neue mainlinefrisur bekommen. Die unteren Mains haben noch alles behalten dürfen.
Das topping steht bald an.
Tropimango reagiert gut auf LST. Blätter weiterhin noch krank, allerdings nicht mehr so dramatisch
Die Runtz wächst und macht ihr Ding. Die wachstumsphase hat nun sicher begonnen: Stiel wird hölzern. Runtz wurde getoppt.
(Vor einem Monat +1 ist die Cookie und die Tropimango zum keimen gelegt worden)

Runtz wirkt gestresst und stagniert im Wachstum wegen des toppings. Besprühen mit Eisen hat sie auch aus der Ruhe gebracht.
Tropimango wächst. Immer noch kranke Blätter vorhanden, aber wenige.

Alle drei Pflanzen haben ordentlich Wasser bekommen.

Habe feststellen können, dass der Wasserbedarf doch deutlich höher war als ich vermutet hatte. Alle drei reagieren sehr positiv auf die erhöhte Menge Wasser. 🚿 Ich hätte wohl großzügiger sein dürfen in den vergangenen Tagen.
Habe der Cookies gelato einen Edgar mit taperfade geschnitten (Mainlining). Eventuell habe ich an den unteren beiden unteren Mains ein Blatt Zuviel abgeschnitten? Ich werd’s im verlaufe der nächsten Tage sehen.
Der unfreiwillige fimming schnitt bei der Runtz war wohl „unsauber“. Einer der beiden Triebe ist dominanter als der andere. Vermutlich liegt es am schrägen Schnitt.
Tropimango macht tropimangosachen. Weiterhin mit kranken Blättern. 🤝.

Not much going on yet. Added some 3d printed supports to make sure they don't start flopping over. Not sure if it's the strain, or my idiocy, but these bastards are soooo leggy. Grr. Watering daily to 15% runoff with MegaCrop 2 part in RO at 0.6EC and 5.6pH. Found Mega Crop gives very stable pH on the right range without any pH up or down needed. Took one day off (3/18) watering to water with Silica Boost at 6ml/gal concentration pHed to 5.4. PPFD 300 at canopy for DLI of 20. PPFD was about 20 for first week while I was prepping and sanitizing the grow room, which might explain the leggyness. If they don't look better after topping, I might pull them and try a different strain.
3/20 - this grow is inspired by the techniques of Bruce Bugbee (PPFD, nutrition, EC monitoring, substrate, environment, etc) and the concept of VPD control, both of which served me very well in the past. The grow room has dual PID controls in my PLC regulating the temperature and humidity to lock in the VPD based on plant age. In later veg and flower, I had CO2 injection on a PID, but that ultimately failed because I couldn't get the humidity down as it got huge. Had too many vent cycles. This year, hope to source or kludge an in-line dehumidifier so I can keep the sealed chamber where it needs to be without wasting CO2.
3/22 no more vertical growth, thank god, leaves and roots are slowly catching up. Patience. EC to 0.7

week one ( day 1-7) went great ,
i germinated both seed in paper towels and transferred them to big pots .
1 (30 liter pot) !(25 liter pot).
after that i got them outside in the sun as much as i could (it was pretty grey and bad weather) while keeping the soil damp with a spraybottle and keeping a sliced bottle over the top to increase humidity.
just had to wait for my tent and lights to arive the first week.

So after week separated the clones. Have mommy in the hydro setup and mommy-x in a bdrm window.
Started spraying mommy-x with colateral silver 30 ppm about a week ago and now is in flower. Continue to spray for another week and hopefully see some pollen sacs..
Don't care about pH , nuit's, or method of growing. All I'm worried about is getting mommy-x to make x-pollen and pollenate the other clone.
Side note: Funny everyone worries if have a hermi, & I'm deliberately making one.. lol

Hey guys! I chopped all the top half of the plant on 6/4 21:30 and the bottom half on 7/4 23:00. It’s now the 9/4 at 11:30 all of it sits in jars. Dried quicker than I wanted it to but all the buds were very dry too touch so I jarred them. I figured it was easier to remove moisture from the jars than it is to put moisture back into them so hopefully this plan works out🤞 she has a hay smell to her and I’m hoping this goes while curing her. All the nugs look great and some are mega dense and others are very airy. The more airy ones being from lower down I just didn’t have time to keep her going. She weighed in at 110+ grams wet, But I didn’t weigh any of the lower nugs. Dry weight all combined is 35.8 grams. 9.2g from the bottom half and 26.6g from the top half. I’ll re weigh it once I’m done curing. Very happy with this first grow I wasn’t expecting to have this good of a finish even if it isn’t the best💪 both jars are around 21c, the jar with smaller nugs has been sat at 55%-65% and the bigger nugs are getting up to %70 so I’ve been opening the big ones letting the humidity go back down again. I don’t expect to get the drying and curing done %100 but that’s what the first grow is all about. Roll on to my next 3 plants harvest day😎 I smoked all the material that went through the sieve while trimming and damnnn.. tasted like something out of Amsterdam. If the flowers end up like that I’ll be very happy😁 I’ll be adding a smoke report once she’s ready, really looking forward to it🤣
Id like to give a huge thanks to everyone who has helped and advised me on this journey! I’m taking all the info onto my next grow a lot more confident. These two were my first tries with autoflowering seeds. I started the seeds directly in their final medium, which is Plagron's Growmix, and the seeds became a plant only in 4 days! They say, this soil has nutrients for the first 3 weeks, but the plants still looking very good in week 6! I only use tapwater, and hopefully, it will be enough for them till the end. To be honest, I'm a bit afraid of nutrients, and as I see in other diaries, it's not really necessery, if you run autos. I also don't do any training, only hiding some bigger leaves, and maybe some lollipopping at the end.

31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7.
At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency.
For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil.
The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment.
I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed.
This week my main goals are:
Increase the water ppm without overdoing it
Adjust the pH to 6.5
Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers
Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots.
==UPDATE 31/08==
To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water).

What a week for this girl! After seeing both of my Sweet Seed autos take a hit from my lack of watering with runoff, I decided to take preventative matters with this Gelato plant and flushed her clean with 8 gallons of plain pHed water, and then a final gallon of a light feeding mix. Since doing that 4 days ago, definitely have seen some further discolouration, but as far as I can tell, It's stopped spreading to the new growth, so I'm 'hoping' to be in the clear but you really never know. I got the soil pH up from 5.4 to 6.5, and the ppm down from 1100ish to just under 400 (which is typical ppm for a flushed plant). Going to keep a close eye, but damn do I feel like she went through some serious shock. Bud development has pretty much slowed down, so hoping she bounces back and start stacking, but I also don't know if this is from the shock of the flush, or the low temps I've been faced with this week. Anyway, definitely learned my lesson on this run! Organic growing here I come 😁

Week 5 of Flower is over and my Papaya Cake girl is showing her true colors and smells! She is in full bloom and pumpin trichomes like a Queen.
Report:
I’m seeing a “tiny” bit of nutrient deficiency pop up but nothing to be alarmed about. She been getting straight 6.2 ph water and nothing else from here on out. Shout out to the YouTube channel “Welcome to the Grow tent” and “Growweedeasy.com for pointing out a few mistakes I’ve made along the way and saving my ass when I thought it was a Nute defi but was just a root bound plant. Their reccs have made a HUGE diff in my yields and overall plant structure.
The last run with this strain was nothing like this girl. The smell in the morning around 8:40 and 6:40pm in the evening is something you could write a book about.🎂
Your nose picks up faint odor of papaya and vanilla wedding cake. Hence the lineage she came from would make the most sense.
Do you talk to your plants? I do and I know they are paying me back for the CO2 they need.
I’m def enjoying the fruits of my labor as they say. And I hope you enjoy the pics.

Week 7 flower!
I'm dying in anticipation.
Part of me just wants to stare at it forever, because I'm pretty sure the color will get darker when its dried
Pistols are turning orange top, so getting closer.
I took a few videos this time. One shows the Mars Hydro lights, and my tents I'm using.
The other is the best I could do to capture the beauty of this plant. I wish I had a tent full of only her.
I cut way back on nutes, I only plan to feed one more time and will be checking the trichome color next week.
Overall I'm super happy 😄

This week they both continued to develop very well.
Flowering day 35
Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier refilled and the plants sprayed with Canna Cure :-).

The plant was watered today with 1.2 L 🙂.
They were also checked for their health and pests 👍.
Everything looks great 🙏🏻.

Again the tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was filled into canisters.

Today 1.5 l per pot was poured so that some drainage comes out again.
therefor two days are not poured 😋.
Flowering day 39
The tent was cleaned, the humidifier was filled, the plant was checked for vitality and the entire electronics were checked for functionality.

Today she was sprayed again with Canna Cure and checked.

We got to the last day of this week and 1.2 L were poured again and the tent was cleaned 👍.

Since the time was changed last week, the lady has grown really well 😌👍.
Today I added 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding per l cocos.
in 2-3 weeks she will get another 1 g per l coco.
In the next few days I will remove the lowest shoots so that the energy doesn't go to waste for the weak ones.
Otherwise, as always, the tent was cleaned every day and the humidifier refilled.

Una vez vistas las preflores entran en floracion 💪.
Definitivamente se han adaptado muy bien a su hábitat natural, voy con dosis muy suaves de nutrientes ya que ellas tienen prácticamente todo lo que necesitan.
El canto de las aves las pone feliz.

Some leaves got burnt but everything is good, just flipped to 12/12. I think the pH down is causing the leaves to burn or maybe my pH pen is not working properly (I've already calibrated it) so I'll stop adjusting pH, in the next couple of days there should be some pistils. I wanted to let them grow for around 9 weeks but I think they'll grow too tall for my tent.
Forgot to add that I kinda supercropped one of them because I didn't want to defoliate anymore.
