Flower Week 5

Wow.......... 33cm vertical growth this week! She over doubled in height!!!!!!! I'm getting a bit excited to see how she turns out 😍

So as I'm not home this week i will just update what i did on my last day home. I added another reservoir, put a pump in it and a fill hose up into my main reservoir (which is 4 feet off the floor to gravity feed my blumat system). Installed a JB and wired in my pump and 2 level switches. They are wired in series with the switches in the normally closed position so the water level will break or make the circuit. Switch 1 is in the main reservoir to call for water and switch 2 is in my spill tray to stop a potential runaway from happening. After getting everything filled to the levels i wanted i did a test run and it worked great. Unfortunately i didn't look closely enough at the specs on the switches and #1 burnt out because it's meant for dc power not ac. My bad , so i hooked up a timer set it for 2 minutes a day as i didn't have time to fix it. I decided that it was a good time to flip over to flower and I'm going with 13/11 lighting schedule see if there's any difference. Happy growing

Hello Diary, Purple Lemonade has reached the end of the third week of flowering, and as you can see in the photos, it looks great. The plant has stopped growing, barely 1cm this week. 61cm tall is great considering the height of my grow box. Purple Lemonade has formed its final shape and will now direct all its energy into the development of flowers. The main cola dominates above the other branches and is completely covered in flowers that are already covered in trichomes. All three plants have started to smell more intensely, when I open the grow box I immediately feel the smell that overwhelms me. The leaves are a healthy green color, there are no signs of a lack of anything. It is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertiliser are doing their job great. Watering has become more frequent, the plants have become much thirstier. I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertiliser with each watering. All in all, I am very happy with how Purple Lemonade is progressing, I try to provide her with the best possible conditions and she returns the favor in her own way. Here is what the past week looked like. 29/08/2024 - Day 36. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer and lowered the p.H. to 6.0. With that amount of water, I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 01/09/2024 - Day 39. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 03/09/2024 - Day 41. Watering. Same procedure. 04/09/2024 - Day 42. End of the 6th week, or the third week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Purple Lemonade - Day 42. - 61 cm. Its the beginnig of week 4 and by now the growbox is complete. It was truthfully said a lot of hard work and starting from the beginning again and again... But I DID IT! Cheers to all growers!

Well not really much too update everything is still going well i guess, purple queen is really slow with starting to set flower mode is that normal with this strain? Or I’m i just not patient enough 😅 sticky beast is going really well also going strong into week 5! My best one most be the runtz #1 that is in week 6 the other one is chasing it but like I said already i broke the main root (not all the way) while lsting her. I put some ducktape on her but i think she will take a little longer then the number 1

69 days (seed breaking through to chop) 3 weeks cured . Made lovely isolated hash from All trimmings . Was nice to have a variety of phenotypes all unique but similar

Keeping things simple again this week. Roots are already starting to come thru the starter pots drainage holes so I'd say the action below the surface has been what I was hoping for with this starter mix. I'll continue to provide a MegaCrop and Kelp Extract feedings to push her a little bit, I heard the term Synthganic the other day and it seems appropriate her, as I'm using organic and salt nutrients... I've got a little road trip planned so she may be coming down the shore with me over Thanksgiving.

Just water again this week to help with the flush along with some light defoliation. The majority of the trichomes look mostly cloudy now and I’ve started to see a very small amount of them turn amber so all going well I will be turning the lights off for 48 hours some stage early next week. The buds have developed really well from the bottom up over the last couple of weeks and are stacking up nicely. The smell has also seriously increased this week. 😳

Super lucky with the weather, still a few older leaves yellowing but nothing concerning for now. The buds are quite leafy but I don’t really mind, also very frosty

Defoliation and spray fertilizer

Week 5 is here and not really a whole lot going on except she is growing a lot and there are lots of pistils. I hope she gets more than 30g that would be cool. I did notice a small tree like coming off the fan leaves when I trimmed them but other than that I don't smell anything, yet! Through this experience I think I prefer photos to autos but I'm still learning and there is lots to learn, I could change my mind. Happy growing friends

Found some fungus growing on the top soil then also started seeing it on the bottoms of the fabric pots. Definetely think its from over watering them last week. Dealing with fungus gnats with some house plants in my living room so I sprinkled ceylon cinnamon on the top soil to act as an organic fungicide and attempt to prevent a fungus gnat infestation. Will be letting the soil dry out a good amount before next watering.

This plant was a BEAST! Flowers came on fast and thick. A few colas were over 5" across at the widest point. I pushed the PPM's to see what she'd take and she ate 1600 PPM's without flinching, not even a little tip burn. One of the most beautiful and heavy budding plants I've ever grown. A genetic gem for sure.
