Woche 6 - Übergang zur Blütephase und erste Herausforderungen Die sechste Woche markierte den Übergang von der Vegetations- in die Blütephase. Bis zum Wochenende wurde weiterhin der Terra Vega Dünger verwendet, mit einem Verhältnis von 30 ml pro 10 Liter Wasser. Am Samstag, dem ersten Tag der Blütephase, wurde jedoch deutlich, dass ein Wechsel auf den Blütedünger nötig war. Leider führte die verspätete Umstellung auf die Canna Terra Bloom Linie zu einem leichten Nährstoffmangel, der sich in den ersten Tagen der Blüte zeigte. Anfang der ersten vollen Blütewoche wurde dies korrigiert, indem vollständig auf Canna Bloom umgestellt wurde. Die pH- und EC-Werte blieben stabil und optimal eingestellt. Die Temperaturen stiegen minimal an, blieben jedoch bei angenehmen 26 Grad. Mit Beginn der Blütephase startete der sogenannte Stretch, und die Pflanzen legten beeindruckende 2,5 cm pro Tag zu. Während dieser Woche wurden die ersten unteren Blätter entfernt – ein leichtes Lollipopping, um die Energie auf die oberen Bereiche zu konzentrieren. Die entfernten Blätter wurden getrocknet und sogar laminiert, um den Fortschritt dieses besonderen Grows festzuhalten. Es wurden ebenfalls einige kleinere Zweige und Blätter im unteren Bereich entfernt, um die Belüftung zu verbessern. Das eigentliche, umfassendere Lollipopping wird jedoch erst in zwei bis drei Wochen erfolgen. Trotz des anfänglichen Mangels aufgrund der zu späten Umstellung des Düngers blieben die Pflanzen insgesamt kräftig, gesund und wuchsen konstant weiter. Der Übergang in die Blütephase verlief somit erfolgreich, und die Pflanzen zeigten weiterhin ihr beeindruckendes Potenzial. ENGLISH Week 6 - Transition to Flowering and Initial Challenges The sixth week marked the transition from the vegetative to the flowering phase. Until the weekend, the Terra Vega fertilizer was still used at a ratio of 30 ml per 10 liters of water. On Saturday, the first day of flowering, it became clear that switching to the flowering fertilizer was necessary. Unfortunately, the late transition to the Canna Terra Bloom line caused a slight nutrient deficiency that appeared in the first few days of flowering. This was corrected at the beginning of the first full flowering week by fully switching to Canna Bloom. The pH and EC levels remained stable and optimally adjusted. Temperatures increased slightly but stayed at a comfortable 26 degrees. With the start of the flowering phase, the stretch began, with the plants growing an impressive 2.5 cm per day. During this week, the first lower leaves were removed—a light lollipopping to focus the energy on the upper parts. The removed leaves were dried and even laminated to document the progress of this unique grow. Some smaller branches and leaves were also removed from the lower areas to improve ventilation. However, the main lollipopping will take place in about two to three weeks. Despite the initial deficiency due to the late fertilizer switch, the plants remained overall strong, healthy, and continued to grow beautifully. The transition to the flowering phase was successful, and the plants continued to showcase their impressive potential.

Everything is proceeding good. Due to plants hight and colas weight, I had to use some poles to sustain the heaviest branches. Pistils are becoming to turn reddish, sugar leaves are more and more covered of transparant trichomes and fan leaves are becoming yellow and falling. Buds are increasing in size and even in the lowest branches there're some of them despite are quite small comparing to the ones on the top.

This will be the last week of 18/6. I've got to count 2 - 3 weeks of stretching at 12/12 and the surface of the screen ain't that huge. I've did some defoiling, not much...just some top leaves and some under the screen. My watering and feeding strategy is that I start with little doses, less then prescribed by Canna. The soil is fresh so there are already nutrients available. I don't water the Runtz everyday, but every other day. This week that was about 1 liter every other day. And it got a bit brighter this week. The grow lights are lowered to 70 cm (27 inches) at 224 watt. Things are started to get some size to the buds. I upped the nutes PPM this week to 1050. The durban clearly has awhile longer to go while the green crack looks like it might be done sooner then later. I'm debating giving green crack it's first overdrive feeding next week.. we will see how the buds are looking then.. I used to feed a week earlier then I should have so I'm trying not to get too ancy with it yet. Both look great.. some slight light burn so the light went from 100% to 80%... just put up to 90% to see how it reacts.. if any issue I'll go back to 80%.. that might be the most it can handle at 18 inches at this point. Gave a heavy defoliation to both plants tonight after nutrient freeding. I defoliated more of the top leaves to expose more bud sites. Then I defoliated the bottom buds sites that I know won't amount to anything and the twig branches coming from the bottom that don't get any light neither. Took 3 hours to get it all accomplished.. forgot to take before and after pics but both plants were monsters.. not much light could really get thru the top canopy Now light gets thru the entire plant so the lower buds are exposed to light and better air flow for sure. My final defoliation will be 1.5 weeks before harvest.. pretty much at the point I start to consider beginning my flush. That way it will fatten up the buds and help finish the buds that haven't been getting much light. Excited to see the final results.. this my first time really doing a heavy defoliation throughout a plants entire life cycle. It defintely helps final yield if done correctly from what I've seen. I figured I'd give it a try and see how it goes.. so far I'm satisfied with the results.

Visto que ya estamos a mediados de agosto y pareceria que quieren empezar a florecer voy a empezar esta semana con el bloom. Mitad bloom mitad grow 51d nuevo tratamiento preventivo con TD + Solabiol, Foliar. Una vez el tratamiento para evitar que las lluvias limpien la planta suelo ponerlas bajo techo. En cuanto deja de llover las vuelvo a sacar. dia 54 126ctms la nº1 y 102 la nº4 y una clara evidencia que ahora empieza lo bueno. Como puede observarse han ensanchado las ramas , han crecido notablemente y empiezan a mostrar claramente sus primeros pistilos.
