Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. 🌱 Grow-Tagebuch – Woche 1: Keimung & Anzuchtphase 📅 Zeitraum: KW 41 Phase: Keimung & Einsetzen in Substrat 🌍 Setup: Indoor Growtent mit LED-Beleuchtung, reflektierende Innenwände, 15 beschriftete Töpfe 🔍 Übersicht der Aktivitäten Keimung gestartet: Die feminisierten Samen wurden in Wasser eingelegt (klassische Methode) und anschließend in beschriftete Cups überführt. Sichtbare Keimansätze nach 24–48 Stunden bei optimaler Temperatur (22–25 °C). Sortenvielfalt: Insgesamt wurden 15 verschiedene Strains eingesetzt, darunter: Super Boof, Black Cherry, Don Mega, Blueberry Cupcake, Peach Crescendo, Permanent Marker Fishy Zoap, Drizzl Pickl, Barcelona Puff Banana-Serie: Banana Kush, Banana Zkittlez, Banana OG, Banana MAC, Banana Runtz, Banana Cake, Banana Sherb Substrat: Leicht vorgedüngte Erde mit Perlite zur besseren Drainage und Belüftung. Pheno #7 and #4 showed the most desired traits and will be running both indoors iagain the coming weeks under better conditions. I didnt get as much photo's as promised but things have been hectic on all fronts, but I will do better next time ;) Its a pitty we had some issues and not all phenos where in a position to show the true potentail. There for we are running the 5 with re-running outdoors this season. Along with some new beans :D

Growing & growing. Watering about every 4/5 days now. I believe I had some deficiencies in the amended soil so I added some calimagic to the mix. I felt I had some nutrient issues earlier in the week, so I used some epsom salt spray and it appeared to help a bit.

Day 23 They are getting very hungry/thirsty they take much water and love the higher nutrient content!!! 🙀 Green gelato buds already smell nice a little hint of citrus and they fatten up good... Sweet ZZ still isnt showing a hint of the stretch I was hoping for ... hopefully she will get enaught light.. Fruit Spirit going fast and better than expected. I know there are some yellow / brownish leafs.... but i wont pick them unless its bad because i gave her heavy defo all the way and just want her to relax and get fat now for the rest of her life =) Day 28 Lowered the light about 10 cm to just 35-30 cm distance and so far they like it =) Also installed a fan under the scrog in the middle of the 4 pots for air circulation under the buds The Sweet ZZ Finally really developes some flowers (yessss was a bit worryed) Green Gelato just is a beast 100% love the genetic so awsome!! no topping just lst and scrog and that girl even goas better than the 2 weeks longer vegged Fruit Spirits. respect to RQS for breeding that girl cant wait to try the auto version got 5 seeds ready to go =P Fruit Spirit starts do get some nice berry like smell and looks like shes gonna finish early. so i guess when they are ready for the chop i will replace them with some autos maybe cookies and blueberry or something will see week 4 finished untill now im very happy with the outcome 😁

She is growing strong and healthy...maybe 2 or 3 week more...

----- WEEK 9 ----- ----- Day 57 ----- Easy day of watching. Just 1 pic today so far. not much reason to go downstairs to take a pic yet. Glookies is turning Purple on sugar and fan leaves now. Harvest is very soon. I'd wager within 7 days now just going to depend on the High I get off tester nugs. ***Update*** I destroyed the trellis and took em out for some pics and vids. Trichs = Tropicana is ready Tuesday, Wedding Cake probably Friday or within that weekend. ----- Day 58 ----- Last couple days. Fed about 30ml of Cal/Mag and 30ml of Molasses. Wanted to just keep the photosynthesis process and the plant in general alive for reveg. Was getting a bit too yellow for my liking. Harvest soon. ----- Day 59 ----- Harvested Tropicanna Glookies today Deleted this week by accident trying to make it a harvest week, so remade it. Will add harvest week once plants are dry and tester has been smoked to give proper info Put some more photos in. Basically the tent is 4 feet wide and the ruler is 12 inches long from bottom of duct tape Really loving the colors of this plant. ------ Day 60 ----- Fed only the Wedding Cake - 5-10ml of Calimagic and 20ml of molasses (NO Liter level marked or PPM or PH, i could cut today its done but im just maturing the trichs) Tropicanna Glookies is a friggin BEAUTIFUL strain. Moved the Wedding Cake in the tent so largest nugs are furthest away from light and dropped light from 1000w to 600w to save electricity Chop on Wedding Cake happens at mostly amber trichs. Prob 5-6 days max for that i'll know when I check trichs tonight and update with photo. ----- Day 61 ----- Wedding Cake is about 5% amber... so prob 6 days or so. Slow day today. ----- Day 62 ----- Feeding is today, going to just use some CaliMagic and Molasses again. Trichs aren't golden yet, so not chop time ... 8-9 weeks is what it is supposed to take, but it's got at least another 5-8+ days until 30-40% amber trichs for Indica couch-lock effect to shine in the Wedding Cake. Tropicanna could still be going right now, but I did not want more than 5-10% amber gold trichs to prevent a couch-lock effect. This has worked very well. On day 64 I will post a smoke report and full harvest/trim details as Saturday/Sunday is trimming. Will have dry weight results of Tropicanna (per plant, and as a whole). Tropicanna being sent to lab for full analysis will post results when they arrive (Usually 2-3 weeks after sending sample via mail) ------ Day 63 ------ Nothing to talk about today, slow day. almost done. *Update* 1 pic, i think it explains everything.

So, guys.. This is her first month blooming. 4 complete weeks has passed. Here we are for 2 more. Gave Her a super powerful egg shell fert (all powdered - Phosforium Whelthy.) 07/10/20 - We are in the middle of week 5. Thats the way they look like. For me a good number of buds and they are as dense as I thought they would be by this time. I think everything is under control despite some foxtails cuz the heat. Loving the experience.

Now this is where the fun starts! What initially looked like three plants with lackluster growth is now turning into an assortment of beautiful colas. Bud sites are popping up all over the place! From this point on, I’ve added an extra fan to improve airflow, and I’m aiming for a VPD above 1.0 kPa to support healthy bud development.

I started getting new growth from the tops of my colas. I thought this might of been down to raising the light up 10cm but it might of been down to high light intensity so I also moved one abit further away from the other to try and help. The pictures in the dark and videos was around 4minutes before the lights came on as all my photos are over exposed. Next to this plant I have an experiment with pink kush and zombie kush using the light given of from this grow.

The plant is producing decent buds with the classic Mimosa/Tangie/orange Terps. I've reduced the light cycle to 11 hours and dimmed the lamp to 85% to achieve lower temperatures and accelerate the plant's ripening process. The top leaves are receiving about 850 PPFD. Nutrient levels were significantly reduced this week.

La pianta numero 2 e la numero 3 hanno letteralmente raddoppiato la loro circonferenza.💪 Per non parlare dei colori, i pistilli iniziano a diventare arancioni e con il giallo e le varie tonalità di verde dei buds la rendono molto affascinante.😍 L odore ormai ha preso il sopravvento nella tenda, e sta cambiando in meglio. Note dolci di caramella si mischiano all intenso profumo di Arancia.🤤 Eh niente ragazzi! Took out some leaves so more light can get in. Lots of crystals all over and she smells sweet. Buds have not done any swelling. She a few more weeks...can't wait to see what she does!
