Last leaf trim. Hopefully there's enough light getting to the lower bud sites now. Upped the bloom feed a little and turned on the secondary fan. Started to get a couple wet leaves where they were touching. I set up another tent too. 😬😬

Hi gromies Ive missed updates over the last few weeks phone problem! But the girls are going great!👍 I'm at the end of week 5 of flower. I'm pretty happy with it for my first scrog grow, could have been better, was in rush to get something into flower, started flowering as soon as they started to grow through net. Should have veged them & trained through the net longer to completely fill net. Pheno 3 was half the size of the other 2. Have started some clones from flowering cuttings, Monster cropping , it works great for increasing yield & saves me from having to keep motherplants. Amazing progress, the roots you see were developed in 8 days! Will start to veg them in the 2nd tent & start the perpetual harvest process. Have continued to grow this strain as I don't have any other seeds at the moment, though it is a nice strain! Definitely time for a change, hint, hint original sensible seeds! Or any other seed companies 👍

7/18 - Transplanted all three ladies into 3 gallon pots. As I did I sprinkled Oregonism XL (mycorrhizae) to the root ball to assist the roots in adhering happily to the soil. Then I watered with RO water and CalMag. 7/20 - Fed with liquid nutrients 7/22 - Started the brew on Terp Tea Grow. Gave all a light water and a foliar spray of Extreme Serene. 7/24 - Top dressed with Elemental (calcium supplement) and watered with the Terp Tea Grow. Both ladies are looking healthy and strong. They are full and vibrant. Will be flipping to flower at the end of next week! 7/25 - Check out Struggling Jack! She is the biggest one of all three! You would never guess she ever struggled. It's my opinion that the struggle actually made her stronger. Go Jack!

Blütewoche 5 - Einfach wachsen lassen und zusehen Zeitraum; 19. Juni bis 26. Juni Moin Moin, wir sind jetzt in der fünften Blütewoche, also Tag 29 bis 35, und was soll ich sagen: Ich bin einfach wieder nur happy! 😊 Ich habe diese Woche so gut wie gar nichts gemacht und das war auch völlig in Ordnung so. Die Pflanze hat einfach weiter ihr Ding durchgezogen. Die Blüten entwickeln sich prächtig, sie werden dichter, kompakter und fangen langsam an, richtig schön zu glitzern. Die Trichome verteilen sich über die Zuckerblätter und das Harz klebt wie Sau. Wenn ich den Kopf in die Box stecke, kommt mir ein richtig süßlich-fruchtiger Duft entgegen. Richtig lecker! 😍 Viel mehr habe ich auch nicht gemacht. Ich habe meinen Würmern noch etwas Wurmfutter gegönnt und am 35. Blütetag wieder mit 6 Litern Wasser gegossen. Worüber ich mir gerade Gedanken mache… Manche Buds stehen ganz schön nah beieinander. Ich hab ein bisschen die Sorge, dass mit zunehmender Dichte auch das Schimmelrisiko steigen könnte. Deshalb überlege ich, in der kommenden Woche nochmal etwas zu entlauben, damit die Luftzirkulation besser wird. Außerdem würden sich die unteren Buds bestimmt freuen, wenn da wieder ein bisschen mehr Licht und Luft rankommt. 😜 Ich hab natürlich mal wieder viel zu viele Fotos gemacht. - I didn't weight wet buds. - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest on buds all over the plant. - The hash ball was a little less than 1cm diameter. - Drying was made at 20°C and around 50% of humidity. - Humidity in jar around 50% on the first day, temperature around 20°C. Veg time : 53 days. Flowering time : 68 days. Total time from seed to harvest : 121 days. Height : 120cm Pot size : 26l

i freed her from her LST and now just let her grow. it has become a really freaky grow. she is a good 100 cm tall and you can already see that she will get some juicy buds. the smell is also getting more intense.

Beginning of week 4!!! What a glorious week it's been! I had some friend watch my plants when I went away for a weekend. Bad idea. Plants experienced severe drought. I attempted my best and fortunately saved everyone but had some minor damage... I'm incredibly worried about male cannabis pollen entering the tents as some flowers did open up before I had a chance to remove them while I was away. I get them a good washdown with water to hopefully kill and pollen but we shall see what happens. My only saving grace was that all the males were isolated in their own tent with an exhaust fan pointed away from the female tents. Stretch is officially done!!!!. Some kept going for about 3 weeks especially the zed blacks which all stretched like crazy. The hash plants has moderate stretch. Rainbow belts very minimal.

Alright, happy month of 420 to all🤙🌲 This is 3 days into week 4 of bud for these ladies (day 25). They have all definitely started swelling up and putting on frost. For some reason I’m not recognizing any of theses bud structure. The two seed grown plants up front are way different phenotypes than the plants I grew last round. And even the clone I took that’s in the back is way crazy different than the mother I took her from. So I’m assuming these genetics aren’t to stable. But they aren't done yet so I guess I can’t quite judge till it’s finished. Anyways once’s I get a strong mother of that Dark Plasma and Tropic Moon I’ll probably stop running these strains and only run those two strains for a bit

Esta semana hicimos la última poda de bajos y alicales , es una de las últimas podas q hacemos! Después de esto la vamos a pasas a 10 litros y ya la mandamos a florecer creo q esta más q lista para arrancar el proceso de floración

This entry covers days 15-23. Same as last week, there is a timelapse! I hope you check it out. (Timelapse to be added ASAP! The internet is too slow to upload it now! This past week I've upped the nutrients to about 410 ppm. This is a stronger nutrient solution than the one I used for my GSC at this age. I decided to up the nutrients so much because I noticed my leaves were a bit light in color, which I thought might be because it was lacking enough nutrients. Unfortunately the leaves are still this same light green at the end of this week, as well as some light splotches. Today, day 23, has seen some confusion. I found what I thought to be root rot, but turned out to be a nutrient buildup. I treated this using Jef79's suggestion of rinsing with water than matches the pH and temperature of my reservoir. I know the brown roots were from this nutrient build up because simply rinsing them helped a lot. After resolving this issue, I bound her down for some low stress training.

Welcome to week 7 of flower! Our new camera should be in this week so I'll be able to capture better photos! Things are just grooving along at a nice pace, I will be looking to check the trichomes this week to see where everythings at but I know for sure we still got some time left especially for Fuel D.og. Over all really excited to see what this week will bring and hopefully we will be starting flushing the plants by weeks end! Day#44F Pictures N/A. Ladies continue to grow. Fuel D.og#2 is really starting to smell like my old shop now, a mix of gas and grease! Day#45F Checked trichomes, Black Cherry Punch and Kings Juice will begin their flush at the end of this week, I will sneak in 1 final feeding with nutrients before flush. Day#46F Ladies are grooving along, Fuel D.og is still putting on mass daily! New camera came in and I think it does the plants justice now!

3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didn’t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. I’m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

🌿 Frosted Guava Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B | Week 9 ❄️ Dark, Frosty & Moving Fast Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! And this girl... She's shining. 💚 Every phenotype has something that makes it recognizable. Something that, after enough weeks of watching them develop, becomes part of their identity. With Frosted Guava Pheno B, I think I've finally found hers. That green. That incredibly deep, rich, dark green. It's one of the first things I notice every time I look at her. She's not the tallest plant in the room. She's not trying to become the biggest. But she has developed into a beautiful, compact, extremely healthy-looking flowering plant with an appearance that is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. And right now? She's moving. She's developing quickly. The flowers are progressing. The resin is becoming more obvious. And the whole plant looks like she's very happy with the direction she's taking. So this week... the spotlight belongs to her. 🌱 The 8×8 Adventure For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. Twelve plants. Different genetics and phenotypes. One growing environment. One general philosophy. And an awful lot of personality. The project is being run under a 12/12 light schedule from seed, allowing each plant to reveal its natural architecture without giving them an extended traditional vegetative period. And this is exactly why I love documenting individual phenotypes. Because even when plants share the same genetic line, they don't necessarily tell the same story. Some stretch. Some stay compact. Some build enormous central flowers. Some distribute their flowers differently. Some become monsters. Some become elegant. And some... become very, very dark green Frosted Guavas. 😂💚 🌿 Look at That Green Let's start with the obvious. Look at her foliage. That colour is beautiful. Deep. Dark. Rich. Healthy-looking. The leaves have become one of the defining visual characteristics of this phenotype. And when you put that dark foliage next to the developing flowers, the contrast is fantastic. The white pistils stand out. The developing resin catches the light. The flowers appear almost brighter because they're surrounded by that deep green background. It's a beautiful combination. And I honestly really like this plant. There are plants you admire because they're enormous. There are plants you admire because they're unusual. And then there are plants where you simply look at them and think: "Damn... that's a beautiful plant." Frosted Guava Pheno B is becoming one of those for me. 🌸 The Flowers Are Moving Fast The biggest difference I'm noticing this week is the speed of development. She's moving. The flowers are becoming increasingly defined, with more structure appearing throughout the developing buds. The calyxes are becoming more obvious. The pistils are still beautifully prominent. And the resin continues making its presence known. Looking through the photographs, you can see how much is happening across the plant. She's not sitting still. She's building. And that's exactly what I want to see at this stage. There is still plenty of development ahead, but the direction is becoming increasingly clear. She's a flower builder. And she's getting on with the job. ❄️ Frosted Guava Is Starting to Look Frosted The name continues making more sense every week. The flowers are carrying increasingly visible resin, particularly around the developing calyxes and sugar leaves. And when you get close with the camera... that's when this plant really becomes interesting. The individual flowers have so much detail. White pistils crossing over one another. Calyxes stacking and expanding. Tiny sugar leaves surrounding the developing structures. And that little sparkle beginning to appear everywhere. This is exactly why I love photographing these plants. From a distance, they're simply beautiful flowering plants. Up close... they become another world. 👀 A Little Foxtailing? I can see a little bit of foxtailing beginning to appear in some of the flowers. And honestly? I'm not losing sleep over it. 😂 It's there. I'm seeing it. I'm documenting it. But I'm also looking at the entire plant. And the entire plant looks fantastic. The flowers are developing. The foliage is beautiful. The structure is healthy-looking. The plant is progressing quickly. So I'm not going to turn one characteristic into the entire story of the plant. This is phenotype observation. Sometimes a plant shows you a particular expression. You document it. You watch how it develops. And you let the plant finish telling you what that expression means. For now... I'm simply curious. Let's see where she takes it. ✂️ After Last Week's Cleanup Last week we gave her a selective cleanup. We removed foliage that had become unnecessary, opened some areas of the canopy and cleaned some of the lower growth. And importantly, we didn't try to strip everything. There was no reason to. Healthy leaves remained. The productive structure remained. And now we're watching how she responds. This week, I'm not looking to chase her with the scissors again. She's doing exactly what I want her to do: grow. The cleanup has been done. The room has been cleaned. The canopy has been organized. Now we let the plant work. Sometimes the best intervention after making a change... is to stop intervening and observe the result. 🌿 Small Plant. Absolutely Not a Small Plant. One thing that continues to amuse me about this phenotype is the difference between her physical size and her personality. At approximately 108 cm, she's considerably more compact than some of the other girls in the room. But she doesn't feel small. She has presence. She has flowers. She has structure. And she's becoming increasingly impressive every week. That's another lesson the 8×8 keeps teaching me. Height doesn't tell you everything. A shorter plant can still have an enormous personality. A compact plant can still produce an impressive flowering structure. And a plant doesn't need to reach the ceiling to deserve the spotlight. Frosted Guava Pheno B certainly doesn't. ☀️ Eating Photons The lighting environment continues to provide plenty of energy for this stage. The Future of Grow Black Series LED remains the main overhead light source, with Lumiflora contributing additional illumination into the lower canopy. And this girl is clearly making use of what she's receiving. Light goes in. The plant does its biological magic. And week after week... we see the result. More structure. More flowers. More resin. More development. This is one of the reasons I love having different phenotypes in the same room. You can give them essentially the same environment... and then watch how differently they use it. Frosted Guava Pheno B has found her own rhythm. So there is no reason to start changing things simply for the sake of changing them. 🌬️ Keeping an Eye on the Canopy With flowering progressing and the canopy continuing to develop, airflow and environmental consistency remain important. This is another reason I liked the cleanup we performed last week. Not because fewer leaves automatically means a better plant. It doesn't. But because thoughtful canopy management can help keep the structure organized as the flowers continue developing. And now that she's cleaned up? I'm happy to leave her alone. Let the remaining leaves work. Let the flowers develop. Let the plant show us what she wants to become. 📸 This Week's Gallery I think this week's gallery really captures her personality. And I think we're getting there with Frosted Guava Pheno B. 🔬 Phenotype Spotlight — The Dark Green Girl If I had to describe her in a few words right now: Compact. Dark green. Frosty. Fast. Beautiful. That's her. Her sister has her own personality. The other Frosted Guava phenotypes have their own expressions. But this girl? She's becoming very easy to recognize. And that's the beauty of phenotype hunting. You're not necessarily looking for one "perfect" plant. You're looking for differences. You're looking for expressions. You're looking for those little characteristics that make one plant stand out from another. And sometimes... you find a phenotype whose biggest characteristic is simply that you really, really enjoy looking at her. That's Frosted Guava B for me. 🔭 Looking Ahead Now I'm very curious. Because she's moving quickly. The flowers are developing beautifully. The resin is increasing. The structure is becoming more defined. And that little bit of foxtailing gives us another characteristic to watch. Will it continue? Will it settle? Will the flowers simply keep stacking and swelling around it? We'll see. I'm not going to write the ending yet. That's the plant's job. For now, I'm just going to keep watching. Keep documenting. Keep photographing. And keep letting this beautiful girl show us what she has. 💚 Final Thoughts — She Deserves the Spotlight Frosted Guava Pheno B started this adventure as the smaller, quieter sister. And look at her now. She's still compact. She's still different. But quiet? Not anymore. She's shining. That deep, deep green foliage is absolutely beautiful. The flowers are moving quickly. The calyxes are developing. The white pistils are everywhere. The frost is increasing. And the whole plant has developed an identity of its own. Yes, I can see a little foxtailing. And no... I don't mind. 😂 Because overall? She's outstanding. She's healthy-looking. She's balanced. She's beautiful. And she's giving me exactly what I love most about this project: something interesting to watch. Every week she gives me another little detail. Another change. Another reason to stop and look. And that's what the 8×8 Adventure is all about. Not just growing plants. Watching plants become themselves. Frosted Guava Pheno B is doing exactly that. And I have to admit...
