The sprouting was extremely quick! Our Darkwing Duck is already showing a desire to explode and grow very fast. Visually, the seedling is stunning with very vigorous genetics at first glance. I feel like it’s going to surprise us with some great results for the rest of this session.

Growth continues at a breakneck pace! The stretch is starting to stabilize to make way for a true explosion of flowers.
Its smell is developing wonderfully! Just brushing against it releases a striking citrus fragrance. The buds and small sugar leaves are already sticking to the fingers with that typical Purple Lemonade aroma, blending intense notes of grapefruit, orange, and lemon. Trichome production is kicking off with a bang!

The height stabilizes at 72 cm, but all the work is now on the swelling of the flowers! The buds are gaining volume visibly and the beautiful purple coloration, characteristic of the Purple Lemonade, is finally starting to appear on the heart of the buds.

On the trichome side, it’s a real blanket of resin that is settling in! The buds and sugar leaves are covered with a dense layer of very shiny trichomes. The citrus smell has become extremely intense and greedy.

Substrate Management & Parameters:
I noticed signs of root asphyxiation 6 days ago. As it went into flowering very quickly (after 2 and a half weeks), its root system probably didn’t have time to expand as much as on the other plants (which follow exactly the same program and are doing wonderfully). This more limited root development must have created a surplus of humidity and unassimilated nutrients.

I immediately reacted by cutting off the water. Once the pot was well dried out, I administered a targeted supply of 3 ml of Bio PK 5-8 diluted in 0.75 L of water by manual watering. I am now waiting for the pot to become light again before restarting the AutoPot.
