what a great strain! great yield and incredible scent! it grew very large buds, due to bad weather and high RH i sadly lost a few of the biggest buds, but still got an awesome yield

Day 50 - Added another dehumidifier to the closet and now the RH is 53/55% under the canopy and 60/62 above it. Wish it was good enough to prevent mold and pests. The ladies are growing a lot, think we'll have big chunky colas if everything goes well! 🙏😍 Day 52 - Today I defoliated the ladies a little bit to allow more light penetration 💪 Day 56 - End of week 8. The girls are doing good: the PL keep on getting weight and developping bigger flowers, the Gelato is 1 or 2 weeks behind her, she has been in vegetative stage for longer and she's still stretching! Now she is about 20/25cm to the light but she seems to handle it. Light at 85/90%.

Grow diary 11 Stage 2 Days 11-20 The light schedule was altered to 19/5 on day 11 and the 6 inch distance was maintained until she went into the main tent. Lights on 7pm off 2pm Day 12 was the 1st time she was watered/fed since day 6 when it was soaked for transplant. After day 12 she was fed 300ml every day and the run off checked to make sure everything was in range. Day 18 she was topped after the 2nd set of nodes. She wasn't quite ready yesterday when i did the other 3 strains, and i forgot to take picture's. I'm thinking of removing the lowest set of nodes in a few days and doing a small mainlining project, She was moved into my new main tent (gorilla shorty gt225). The light is my mars hydro TS1000 set at 50% power 20 inch above the canopy. The wilma system is just hydroton/clay balls, and the feeds are on at 8pm for 15mins and on at 12.30pm for 15mins. Day 20 she seems to be adjusting to the topping and the transplant. I'm happy with how the last 9/10 days have gone, its still been mega hot and i have managed to battle the heat quite well so the plants haven't suffered. At the moment all 4 strains are at about the same point in growth. so far so good. We had some electricity problems, but we fixed it. Girls are looking good, they grow nice and big, we have no problems whatsoever.P PH is stable, PPM is growing by days, nothing unmanageable.

Last week I had decided to flower the plant as it is growing very large, here are a few notes for new growers. Always flip your plant's light schedule when the plant is at the desired height this plant is now 3 1/2 feet tall. Cannabis plants tend to double in size depending on how well they are taking care of. If you do not pay close attention to the height of your plants you will inevitably have a plant that will outgrow your tent. Here are a few notes for some growers that have not grown in h20., First you can grow your cannabis in any substrate you want, the substrates that growers put here are common that you can find all over the Internet and in some local flowering shops however, all that matters is that the roots touch the water. You can grow in the glass fish balls, you can grow in non-toxic gel balls, you can pretty much grow in any substrate you want. Second note: growing in h20 in my opinion is a lot more easier than growing in soil. Some growers will say that cannabis has a different taste in soil there is no science that concludes that the cannabis will taste any better or any less good in H2O or soil. It is all opinion. However, growing in H2O does need to be taken care of carefully. Always remember to make sure no light is getting inside the reservoir and keep the reservoir clean of all debris. It's the same concept of having a pool. If you have a pool with no debridement it will stay crystal-clear with no filtration for a very long time. However, if you get debris in a pool unwanted organisms will start to grow such as algae bacteria, and other things that you would not want to touch your body, take that concept and apply it to a cannabis plant. Hydro guard is a failsafe in case you are too lazy to keep the reservoir clean. It will prevent root slime rot and many root problems (It's beneficial bacteria similar to what is in recharge only for H2O) Lastly, Your plants if grown in hydrogen will grow rapidly more rapidly than in soil you yield will be produced faster. Also, remember the substrate is free, if you cannot purchase deionized water you can use regular tap water as long as the PPM is low, even so, you can offset the PPM as long as it's tested. You will save hundreds of dollars in soil Perlite, and other fertilizers. Some growers will state that the chemical fertilizers are bad for you, that is completely untrue and also unproven. Again NASA uses general hydroponics To grow produce in space.

Let the flushing begin! Week 8 went well, this girl packed on the last of her weight and density. She's showing more red hairs, more color in her leaves and she's got a 60/40 mix of cloudy/clear trichomes.

Dec 2: Backed off the liquid weight, only giving 1x per week, rusty spots have stopped spreading I believe. Bulking going well, one girl drinks significantly faster due to her size. Prolly week 12 finishers. These are some frosty ass girls I cannot wait to smell the cure transformation.

Feed some 4-9-3 happy frog 3 tbls and 3 tbls of (DE). 3 weeks left at most. 10/16/2020 There is some nasty weather on the way so I am going to bring her in for the finish going to get out a scope tonight and have a good look at her. But I think two weeks left, also will be under a 11-14 cycle till done. Her mother plant thrived under this light and microclimate. Ps. She's expected to be (FLOWERING!) 10-12 week strain So calyx swelling soon🙏 I almost forgot, she smells like Juicy Fruit gum. Smoked something similar in the 1980's and been searching ever since! Hope she tastes as good as she smells 10/26/2020 Its been 9 weeks and 4 days since start of flower buds are getting harder everyday maybe a week to go. 10/29/2020 10 weeks on the nose. Just water,water and water this week took some branches 2 weeks ago very good for no cure just dried, but With a good trim, and cure should improve over the next couple weeks. Harvest may come this week but we will see🙏

Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Mother Gorilla is a new and improved version of Royal Madre. The strain is a cross between Reina Madre (Queen Mother) and Gorilla Glue (GG # 4). As with any cross, the offspring have pronounced Reina Madre as Gorilla types and everything in between. Reine Madre has a complex terpene profile with sweet, sour and spicy aromas. However, the buds are rarely pronounced sweet or sour. The vast majority of the plants are rather spicy. However, it is difficult to give a specific description of this spicy aroma. When smoking, you can recognize it by its specific taste. The Gorilla specifications are also there: high in THC and the fantastic aromas of pine, chocolate and diesel. Mother Gorilla has a stimulating sativa-dominant effect. Energy and excitement without being overwhelming. A stimulating and creative effect. Euphoric at higher doses. The strain is great for small gatherings and parties and puts you in a social mood. It is also ideal to enjoy at home, if you are looking for some inspiration and introspection. The taste is rather spicy. With some plants, this gives a pronounced taste that may not please everyone. Sweet and sour is always well balanced, but never pronounced. The effect is mild and rather social. Larger doses really create a strong euphoric mood. The plant is fairly easy to grow. Her branches are fairly sturdy for a sativa, but also flexible enough for just about all pruning and bending techniques. Flowering time is at least 9 weeks. I am very satisfied with the autopots. You can leave for a few days without worrying. I wouldn't use them if you live on a floor. Occasionally they leak sometimes .... The pots are wet and heavy, but strangely enough you don't have problems with budrot. Here is a list of all 16 plants: # 1 89cm 13.9gr Small Plant, Small yielder. Incredibly soft aroma, with a very subtle Reine Madre taste. Delicious! # 2 144cm 53.0gr Beautiful large plant with a high yield. Beautiful buds. Sativa. Hazey. Excellent! # 3 144cm 33.0gr Pronounced foxtail sativa buds. Lower yield. Softer aroma than # 2. # 4 129cm 28.7gr Perfect mix between sweet and sour aromas. What a beauty! # 5 117cm 37.6gr Surprising yield for this smaller plant. Balanced sour / sweet. Great! # 6 92cm 21.2gr Beautiful plant. Seems a bit like the small version of plant # 13. But here too the aroma is less pleasant. # 7 123cm 29.0gr Hazey taste due to the many sativa influences. But also surprisingly sweet. Sugared with trichomes. Superb! # 8 124cm 38.0gr Good hard bud yield. With a pronounced strong spicy Reina Madre aroma. Don't stick your nose in the jar for too long. Splendid ! # 9 102cm 24,7gr Most beautiful Sativa-style buds, swollen, hard and ripe. Magnificent! A lust for the eye. And that taste ... incredible! # 10 65cm 16.3gr Small plant, low yield. Small tops with beautiful brown pistils. Subtle slightly spicy sweet Reine Madre fragrance. # 11 71cm 15.6gr Too bad about the low yield, but what a wonderfully soft and sweet aroma! The tops smell like super soft shortcrust with a very light touch of vanilla. Fantastic! # 12 111cm 24.0gr Less pleasant odor. Catpiss ... # 13 113cm 54.0gr Very different plant. Looks a bit like Critical 47 from Positronics that I once grew. Plant # 6 is also such a phenotype. Probably stray seeds…. Large yield of skunky buds with many orange-brown pistils. However, the fragrance is not skunky, but unpleasantly sour. # 14 92cm 21.4gr Top quality. Firm hard ripe swollen buds. Beautiful brown pistils. Many trichomes. Fantastic aroma. Splendid ! # 15 126cm 67.1gr Extreme heavy yielder. Rocket-shaped mega top. The weed is less beautiful and has less trichomes, but does have the typical Reine Madre smell and taste. Topper! # 16 88cm 16.4gr Small plant with small buds and relatively much leaves. Low yield. A lot of trichomes.

It's harvest time for Pineapple too. This little one has grown very quickly since the beginning, living up to her name and surpassing all the others born with her in height. She caused no problems, completely indifferent to everything going on around her. Beautiful to look at and wonderful to smell, completely covered in trichomes. It's like smelling a pineapple! So fresh, so tropical!
