Things are looking good. I started counting Day 1 before the dummy leaves even shed the seed, also, I think the 3 gal pots are probably holding back the above ground growth a tad. Been watering about .5 gallons each in a ring just outside the plant every 2-3 days. They look healthy and I'm sure by the end of the week, they'll be screaming along. Not sure if I'm more excited about the ganja or the melons. Lol. Can't wait to enjoy both โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ’จ

New journal with a New EcoLED 800w Draw LED light. Running a previously grown strain of Inzane in the Membrane. With the new lights ill be focusing on increasing my yield. 9 plants in a 4x4 dual level scrog. These clones have been vegged for a month or longer and have been placed into my 12/12HR flower tent. Lights are sitting stationary about 3 feet above the canopy. Plant height is sitting at Ive recently discovered some spider mites in another grow area. I do not believe they are in this section. But i will be treating the area over the next couple weeks with 2 treatments of End-All. Also will be using Dr Doom Fogger with a 7.5sec spray every 4 days for a couple weeks.

**Week 5 | Godfather OG** Real growth this week โ€” height jumped from 14cm to 33cm. The structure backs it up: strong lateral branching off the main stem, nodes stacking tight, and the canopy is already filling out nicely for this stage. No stretch issues, no leggy growth โ€” she's building a proper frame. Feed has stepped up to match the growth rate: CANNA Aqua Vega now at 3ml/l (up from 1ml/l), CalMag Agent 0.9ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1ml/l. EC reading 1.2 mS/cm, pH 6.2. Watering volume bumped accordingly to 1L per plant per 24h with the increased root demand. Outdoor conditions have turned properly summery โ€” day temps hit 35ยฐC this week, nights down to 18ยฐC. That's a big swing and a hot one, but no sign of heat stress on the leaves, no canoeing, no wilt. The native soil integration through the bottomless pot is clearly helping buffer root zone temps and moisture even when the air gets that hot. Humidity sitting at 60%, light schedule now at 17h as days lengthen. Next phase is about keeping pace with this growth rate without letting the heat catch her off guard during the hottest stretch of the day. Updates every Sunday. Stay tuned.

The pics are a day old and allot has changed since then.. theres allot more yellowing (fading of leaves).. and the trichomes just look big and swollen.. you can see the kinda mushroom like shape easily.. the smell has gotten really nice.. starting to get that really dank pink smell. I cant find my 420 scope.. but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know she's almost there.. I will chop her down on friday. And start drying it out.

Itโ€™s not quite week 3 flowering, more so 2.5 wks. I had no choice but to remove a dozen of inner shoots because of how dense the canopy is. Should be it for defo until harvest. This weekend will mark 4 weeks since the last top dress so itโ€™ll be a nice mix included in next wk update. I transplanted into bigger pots with a mix of glacial rock dust, 2-8-4, Kelp Meal.

I had a horrible germination rate then the seedling I finally got was very weak. So I made the best of it, and finished the grow. Frosty buds nice color. Great smell. The Gen 1:11 nutrition works good. Was just the first time using it in DWC. Good looking nugs. Just not one of my best grows. Thank you Mars Hydro, Gen1:11, and Humboldt seed company. ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿป๐Ÿค›๐Ÿป๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ Thank you grow diaries community for the ๐Ÿ‘‡likes๐Ÿ‘‡, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel๐Ÿ‘‡. โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿป Happy Growing ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Week 7 Although the Gelato is the smallest of the bunch it's definitely the fastest flowering. Also I'm trying out a little experiment if the results are positive I might share more about it in the future..

How RQS Compares to Your Standouts Brothers Grimm (your "otherworldly" stars: Montel Iced Tea, Body Count, Bubbles Blueberry F4, Rickyโ€™s Hash Plant, Black Tangi Tea) These are landrace-influenced, heirloom-style genetics with exceptional resin, unique flavors, and structure. They outperform RQS in quality, potency, and "wow" factor in your tents. RQS tends to be more commercial/hybridized for ease and yield, while Brothers Grimm prioritizes distinctive traits and consistency in experienced hands. Humboldt Seed Company autos (your top autos for resin, especially OG Triploid) Humboldt focuses on West Coast legacy genetics with heavy resin production. Clearly superior to RQS autos in trichome density and overall quality. RQS autos are faster and easier for beginners but often lack the resin "frost" and depth you get from Humboldt. Fast Buds (fast, flavorful, reliable autos โ€” you like them a lot) Excellent speed and flavor profiles. You noted they're in a "different class" โ€” fair point. Fast Buds emphasizes quick cycles and modern hybrids with nice terps, while RQS autos can feel more generic or require more coaxing. Quick Thoughts on Your Observations Brothers Grimm (Montel Iced Tea, Bubbles Blueberry F4, etc.): These are clearly the stars in your current setup. The strong smell, unique leaf morphology, and overall vigor in small pots show they're expressing well under your conditions. They reward careful growing with quality that feels special โ€” resin, flavor complexity, and effects that fit your low-dose, functional style better than most commercial lines. Your homemade cross (Gelato 44 ร— Bubbles Blueberry F4 pollen = "Blueberry Knockout"): Nice work on your first intentional cross-pollination! Getting viable seeds and decent plants from a garage-level cross is a real win. Itโ€™s not "pretend breeding" โ€” itโ€™s exactly how many great lines started. The fact that it turned out "pretty nice" is encouraging. However, as you noted, combining a Royal Queen Seeds Gelato 44 (solid but commercial) with Brothers Grimm Bubbles Blueberry F4 (higher-quality, more unique genetics) creates a hybrid that can show the best of both, but also some inconsistency. If the RQS side brings easier growth but less depth, while the Brothers Grimm side brings the special traits, the offspring can be hit-or-miss depending on which phenos you kept. RQS Gelato 44 / Mike Tyson 2.0 vs. Brothers Grimm: Your experience matches what many growers report. RQS lines are generally more "user-friendly" and higher-yielding for beginners or volume grows, but they often lack the resin density, terpene complexity, and unique expressions you get from Brothers Grimm. The Tyson 2.0 collaboration added hype, but in your tents it landed at 7/10 while Brothers Grimm hit "otherworldly." That gap in quality is why you're leaning toward sticking with the professional, boutique genetics going forward. 3/30 11:17PM Gelato 44 & Punch Pie were nice right off the tree the little buds put me right to sleep last night!! The Autos are 7-10 but the Photos are 8/10

Hey! At last the day of the harvest arrived. Before that, I stopped watering the plant 4 days ago, and turned off the lights 2 days ago. As for questionable techniques, I adhere to the principle - if it doesnโ€™t get worse, why not try?๐Ÿ˜„ So, I put the harvested crop in a dark ventilated box, for about 10 days, I will observe. p.s. I invite everyone to the next update of the diary - I will sum up, remember the interesting moments of the cycle, and of course I will try the finished product, see you! ๐Ÿ˜ Glory to Ukraine! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Banana Guava Auto โ€“ Week 5 ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒ Week 5 is underway and Banana Guava has fully settled into flower mode. The stretch is still ongoing, with multiple tops developing evenly across the canopy and plenty of fresh pistils stacking at each site. The plant is showing strong vigor, healthy green foliage, and has responded well to the Plagron feeding schedule so far. Its quite packed in there but still managable, Light intensity has been increased gradually to support flower development, while maintaining a stable environment. A little LST and selective leaf tucking have helped improve light penetration and airflow through the canopy. The structure looks promising, with good spacing between bud sites and plenty of potential for some chunky flowers in the coming weeks. Also installed a new icl light to compensate those lower branches, the ucl i had before didnt cut it ;) this new think grow icl is super awesome
