Here we are for the Week 8 Update for my biggest grow to date. The ladies are really starting to show trichomes like crazy along with their buds sites swelling seems like every day. Several of the ladies I had to defoliate again because they just became so bushy and I'm trying to make sure even the lower half of the plant is getting enough light. I've also noticed that all the ladies seem to be on the same track except for AK-49 #4 which just didn't grow much due to lack of light at the beginning of its life cycle and Girl Scout Cookies #2, which is almost done! Since I'm in the home stretch I check them every day to see if they need water because they've been super thirsty since they have been in flower. Well well well, what do we have here what a good crop so far. The discolored plant had some calcium deficiency so I upped calmag plus 2tps look like it did the trick so everything is good now!

Smell has really started to increase this week! The buds are starting to form and spiral up! Its been glorious! Humidity has still been fairly high but it hasn't gone over 60 so its slowly getting better even after watering! Up to 2g per gal of booster on feed days, no signs or burn. Getting pretty excited I think 2-3 more weeks!

Day 28: I have started into week 4, and im curious when the first sights of flower begin. i decided today to cut down my bags, because the lower branches didnt had enough space, maybe this is even the reason why they are so bushy. lets see how this is working now, i bet it will be much easier to water them now. i also cutted one leaf, because it had sunburn because of waterdrops i didnt recognized. The smell is getting also stronger, but still couldnt figure out which plant smells so nice. it is a very nice and fruity mixture. i also decided to Stop LST through binding and bending. i will just Scrog it soon, that should do the part. Day 30: I hope the Temperatures wont drop anymore. had a night with 10.6 °C. The Pineapple Express and StrawberryGorilla did not liked this a lot. But Blueberry, Northern Light and Weddingcake seem to be stronger against the cold. I watered them a bit today, and will also stop giving to much fertilizers. maybe i will skip one Week of fertiolizers, and start again when bloom is starting. Day 32: i think i was again not patient enough. I will just keep them watered until they start to bloom. Will install a SCROG net in a few Days. My worries: 1. I think my Pineapple Express and the Strawberry Gorilla really didnt liked the cold Days. There were Temperatures about 10 °C in the nights. The PE seems to be stunned a bit. The others are developing gut actually, but i hope to have warmer climate soon. My happies: The Red Mimosa is still developing great. Also the Northern light is growing pretty good, and they dont show any sign of struggle because of the low temperatures. My biggest is 30 cm (Red Mimosa), the smallest is my pineapple Express, its only 20 cm so far, but still growing bigger somehow.

July 19: first night of force flowering last night. Plants in dark garage at 9:30 pm and out again at 7:30 am for 10 h darkness. Also using 730 nm far red light at transition to dark which puts the plant into dark mode two hours faster so it’s like getting a 26 h day with 12 h of darkness. Force flowering for 2-3 weeks to make a solid transition into flowering and to get the buds ripening under the stronger summer sun. July 22: Foliar spray with Epsom salts and potassium silicate this morning. The magnesium in the Epsom salts seems to help with yellowing on the new growth. July 23: added another loose Scrog net layer. Tied to water bottles to open up the canopy to sunlight. July 25: watering yesterday included some water leftover over from steaming beets for dinner. That likely contained lots of N because beets are high in nitrate and the plants are very green this morning.

April 27: start of week 3 (day 15) i pick off fanleaves here and there not all at once, one last heavy defoliation at the end of the week The cannopy is 40cm deep and 80cm diagonal

. FIRST DAYS ------------- A week after the first slight lollipopping, I repeat the operation. The biggest one is now 49 cm; the girls are still growing well. I raised the lamps slightly but moved them to 35 cm from the canopy, so they are not experiencing any light stress. They are also drinking more: with 1 liter, the soil is now dry in a day. Their buds are swelling every day, two of them more than the others. And a slight smell is starting to escape from the tent when I open it 😉 MIDWEEK ----------- Midweek, growth remains steady. The tallest one has reached 54 cm. No operations today : no lollipopping or defoliation. The buds are swelling, the trichomes are spreading; what more could you ask for? 😊 The injured plant shows a slight discoloration on the top shoots ; it’s the only one affected. I suspect an iron deficiency, probably due to a accumulation of salts in the substrate (I’ve been feeding it the same regimen as the others, even though it’s less vigorous). I’ll need to adjust its doses and probably give it a light flush with demineralized water. I’ll give it three days of observation before doing so.

Week#2 flo 💚

The plants look and feel incredible, I can't wait to do some serious supercropping later into this week. Follow along! This should be fun. Day 3 flower update: holy cow I love these plants, I am having a ton of growth and turned the optic 8s up to 100/50/25 and going to leave it here until 9/1 then switch to 100/60/50 and see how they react. Clones got cleaned out today to a buddy so we can further a couple other strains, the Chempie cuts were exquisite. Side note a little bit of nutrient burn noticed on main girl ZKWC but not anything to stress about, washing machine mother does not seem to mind a higher EC feed. The last few weeks have been a 30 second watering once a day. As of today 8/23 I am switching to 5/5/2.5/2.5 ml/g for BasisA/BasisB/StartR/Calimagic. I am obviously not an expert grower, just a guy trying to grow some beautiful big fat flowers. Take my advice with a grain of salt but feel free to lurk and watch the results! So day 4 of flower I was contemplating what my goal for this grow is, and I settled on schwazzing this grow, I did it with my first photo grow in Hydro and had awesome success on all but two plants (weaker blue dream phenos did not respond well and I had all kinds of feeding issues not entirely sure they would've made it without the schwaz either but anyways...) So yeah we're gonna try it out. Plants are bouncing back quickly from everything, I supercropping a ton to really spread the plant out and I'll be throwing a trellis back up after they have a chance to reach.

Week 18 Day 120 (11/12/2020): I checked the girl’s trichomes and they are looking great! They are still mainly cloudy with only a handful of amber ones, but the other girls in the tent are definitely more ready. We will have to take them out at the same time so they can dry in the tent for good air circulation and a controlled environment. The pistils on the DSD are also the least developed compared to the other girls. So I will need to start the flush at the next watering.This one would definitely benefit from a bit more time but I I think since the trichomes are already cloudy she would be ready in 2 weeks anyway 💪 Day 121 (12/12/2020): The girl is looking good today but actually noticed that some leaves are starting to go yellow. Although I think during this time it is actually good news and I will be happy for her to take up all the nutrients left into the buds to make them extra tasty!🤤 Day 122 (13/12/2020)💧: Sooo this week is the start of the flush, just 1.5L of water. They are definitely ready for the flush and the buds are looking gorgeous! So gorgeous, in fact, that we cannot wait for the girls to be ready. So I cut some stems off to dry 🙊 We basically realised that they will not be ready and dry by Christmas (plus we would want to still cure them for min 2 weeks) and so I cut some of the smaller stems off to get some buds ready for Christmas celebrations 🎄 I only cut off 2 stems (one from each girl) of the buds that were at the bottom. I’ve put them into a box with holes in a room thathas good airflow. I’ll also make sure to weigh them and add it to the final dry weight. They do look super amazing though and definitely quite purple Day 123 (14/12/2020): Didn’t have time today to take pics of the girls but I’m sure they are fine 😉 Day 124 (15/12/2020): I swear the buds look fatter and fatter every single day that I check her. Looking great, smelling great, and will definitely taste great! Day 125 (16/12/2020)💧: Second flush of the week, great stuff. Just gave her 1.5L of water and ripped off some dry leaves. There are some stems at the bottom that are still quite weak and cannot hold their weight. At this point it is too late to cut them off but I have definitely learned to lollipop for the future! Day 126 (17/12/2020): What a great end to the week and just 1 more week to go! Buds are looking astonishing at this point. And I swear they are still getting bigger and bigger. My only concern is that the buds still have some white pistils which also determines maturity. I hope they ripen up a bit more over the last week! And next week I will be watering twice and probably harvest after the whole week is finished, so on Christmas day! What a great present 🎁

Day 88: Guten Morgen Freunde :) Zur Zeit sieht alles super aus. Der Luftentfeuchter hält die Luftfeuchtigkeit konstant bei 52% RLF. Die Pflanzen haben ordentlich an Höhe und Gewicht seit der letzten Woche zugenommen und sehen schon ziemlich frosty aus. Ein Paar Blätter signalisieren einen leichten Nährstoffmangel, welchen ich durch 2 mal düngen wahrscheinlich beseitigen kann. Die Damen trinken extrem viel Wasser, der Luftentfeuchter zieht jedoch auch viel aus der Luft. Teilweise ca. 500-1000ml pro Tag Der Geruch ist noch nicht stark vorhanden, zu meinem Glück. Dafür sind die Pflanzen schon sehr harzig und klebrig. Bis zur nächsten Woche.

I noticed some white blotches on a few leaves. I'm not sure if it's just water spots from my helper's carelessly watering causing water spots from the Nutrient solution or the start of a PM infection. Never really dealt with PM, but decided to spray them with some serenade. I also sprinkled with a little more White Dutch Clover seed on top soil. GOOD NEWS: I upgraded the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light. $306 USD after all is said and done. And with this, the ladies shall say good bye as the next post will almost certainly be the harvest. Sad but damn i'm excited!!!! this is a crop i am truly proud of. All 3 strains in the tent came out just incredibly nice but i'm glad i picked the gorilla zkittlez for the diary as i doubt i'll be seeing trichs like this again anytime soon. The pictures do a fairly good job ( p.s. just got the S10 and wow it takes nice pics even compared to the S9) but in person the trichs are so long its almost surreal. like it looks furrry and soft and fluffy. I hope she smokes as hard as she looks cause she looks like she gonna be putting me in a damn coma. The smell is very nice as well. Slightly sweet but still that strong strong dank smell. I CAN NOT WAIT TO SMOKE THESE LADIES!!! 😍😍😍 I've noticed some people are following along, I hope you enjoyed the run and I look forward to posting the harvest. Whats your guess for the zkittlez? of the 6 plants in the tent 2 are the GZ. my guess.........hmmmmm........350-400 grams The flowers on all the plants are DENSE. No fluff this time around so im thinking this should be a healthy harvest indeed!!! Shout out to amazing genetics from Barneys as well. those guys kill it! Started to flush yesterday. I think they will be done in 2-3 days. lastly, whatever those sap bubble things are, they werent eggs and are still a mystery lol

The strech is over. Another very hot and sunny week. The buds are getting bigger. I started to add some Bio-Bloom because the bottom leaves started to turn a bit brown. It seems that this is a 3 leaflets phenotype plant. Overall it looks nice, I'm happy :)

Premium cultivars has got a banger here, week 3 started the frost over. The plant seems to be darkening up in a beautiful way, I love how this plant is looking!!! She is starting to form nice dense buds these next few weeks will start to be even better.
