What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Day 12F-19F (May 3rd - May 10th) (Day 13) Pots are still super heavy and I don’t see these things drying out anytime soon so we’ll see over the next few days. Still no signs of overwatering. (Day 14) I’m going to do a little lst. Better late than never and since the pots are saturated the stems are bendier. I noticed they were quite droopy during lights off but are praying by lights on. (Day 16) Man these things are filling out slow. I’m going to drop the light a few inches and see if that helps at all. Definitely no early trichs. (Day 19) So I haven’t had to water at all in the last 10 days and the pots are still quite heavy. Oddly enough, I still see no signs of overwatering. Perlite did it’s job I guess.

The 7 blue gelato 41s are doing ok theyre hermie/pollinated perhaps as the calyxes have swelled but gonna run them the whole way through as an experience for my first grow. The stems also smell very good like blueberry/ cookie

gave my last feed day 66. flushing from day 68 through the end! thinking shell be down on day 75

The plants have slowed their uptake of water. That combined with cooler temps have reduce to watering to a few gallons a day. I've included my end of generative 3 phase nutrient formula for this week. They are all close to generative 4 so I'll be watching for the upper leaves to fade to see if they will need to be fed. All of the plants were given tap water on day 1. Day 2 of this week everyone received the nutrient formula listed @2 gallons per pot. Day 3-7 this week just tap water. Plants are feeding lite and there's plenty of nutrient built up in the soil.

This is the home stretch!! Buds had their final little burst in size and all the trichomes are nice and cloudy, so for me, it’s time to harvest. I’m doing one more flush with ice water and putting her in total darkness for 48 hours. Gonna chop her in a few days once the soil has dried out and just take off some big fans leaves and hang her up to dry for a few days!

It is week four of flowering, and the buds are developing as desired. Unfortunately, the weather has been cloudy lately. Temperatures drop to 18°C at night. 🗡️🗡️🗡️ 💚💚💚
