Did LST and topped Pheno 1 & 2, 3 is too funky to mess with. I think PH was just my issue and possible too high intensity light as I lowered to 60%, but also brought my PH to 6.5 so I'm guessing that helped too.

Thanks for swinging by and checking out the grow so far! So this week we are switching to flowering and taking a flood cycle out of the feeding schedule. The hydro plants are catching up to the soil plants and the tent is really starting to fill out ! Me and my partner have been keeping up on the training and were very happy with the results. I think we achieved the canopy look we were shooting for, so time to flower !! Were still following the floral series feeding scheduled within reason. The soil plants still have a little burn on the tips but we were overfeeding them, newbie mistake, but were flushing them with fresh water to give them a break. We cant wait to see the what happened in the weeks to come. Waiting to see what kind of stretch we get from them. EDIT:: mid week. The plants still have a great growth rate and are noticeably different every day. We went ahead and pulled them out of the buckets and gave them a good trimming before they get through the net. LST is paying off, we have a bunch of top growth so hopefully we get the sea of green look were going for.

Tag 77: Heute ein letztes Mal die Lampe auf 30cm gestellt. Wurde auch Zeit so langsam werden die heller. Nun auch die volle Düngemenge. Nur das Klima ist ein Krimi 😱 wir haben aktuell hier viel Regen, zwischenzeitlich recht warm, also ein ewiges hin und her. Gestern hatte ich dann schon die ersten Trauermücken 😩 Da hab ich nicht lange gefackelt und Entfeuchter in die Grow Boxen gestellt, dafür ist es nun aber mindestens 1°C wärmer in den Boxen. Wenn es draußen nicht zu warm wird könnte es klappen.wenn..... Tag 80: Aktuell haben wir hier ein Subtropischen Klima, ich habe Temperaturen in der Box von bis zu 28°C, Abkühlung in der Nachtphase ist auch nicht mehr möglich. Doch meine Pflanzen stecken es soweit gut weg, sie sehen sogar noch vitaler aus 😍

La floración sigue su curso y nos sigue regalando colorido y aroma para nuestros sentidos. El contratiempo con las pequeñas orugas solucionado y parece que el proceso sigue "viento en popa y a toda vela" 🌬️🌿 Los pistilos han inundando toda la planta y siguen aumentando su tamaño. Además, algunos pistilos van adquiriendo un tono ámbar. Las flores continúan oscureciendo, las hojas y sus tallos ya muestran un claro color rojizo/púrpura que tiende rosáceo con la luz directa. 🌿 El tallo tiene un tamaño y consistencia considerable, alcanzando una los 42cm y la otra 50cm. Se perciben bastante mejor los aromas de las floración. Seguimos aumentamos la cantidad de agua, progresivamente, según van pidiendo/necesitando las plantas. Se están amarilleando parte de las hojas inferiores 🍁 Si no me fallan los cálculos, se debe a la falta de nitrógeno pero no le añadiré porque ya debe está en las últimas semanas 🤞😅 Sigo intentando no utilizar ningún tipo de "ayuda extra", salvo la tierra enriquecida de BioBizz All-Mix donde están plantadas. Seguimos con el agua mineral, luz solar, mucha paciencia y mucho amor!🤞😍 Aunque para controlar la aparición de pequeñas orugas he añadido: 20g de tierra de diatomea (Diatical de TRABE), directamente sobre el sustrato (1-2 veces/mes y se puede aplicar en cualquier momento del cultivo). 50ml de Super Kukulus (fitofortificante ecológico)/1 litro de agua para riego foliar, tanto en el anverso como en el reverso de las hojas (2-3 veces/sem y se puede aplicar en cualquier momento del cultivo has 2 días antes de la cosecha)... Y lo mejor es que FUNCIONA! 💪😅

Last Topping. Now I created 24 tops. No side shoots were so stunted that they needed to be removed. All are growing compactly and uniformly.. After this week I switch to flowering. I once tried growing the same variety for five weeks in a 0.4 litre pot and a 25 litre pot. It's amazing how compact the plant grows in the small pot. My little purple frost monster is now hanging in my drying tent she got that stanky GMO smell dark purple not a big yeilder not very big colas but super frosty fire orange pistols the leaves turned gold during the fade feed her all the way to harvest but she had a carboflush the last week and it really helped she prob yeild about an ounce so here's to another harvest lfg

Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

This week was very well, the girl showed her first pistils and she's stronger and healthier than ever, so: Day 30 sprayed with bioprotect Day 31 watered with 3l of water with 6 ml of bh, bg an a-v Day 33 The first pistils are appearing sign that blooming phase has begun. Day 34 water with the mix Day 35 I've turned on the dehumidifier trying to decrease the humidity and starting to defoliated some lower leaves, 3/4 leaves per day stress the plant to much. End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.
