She is developing well, and should start bulking soon. Nothing more to report at the moment. Haven't been staying updated... I know the Girl Scout Cookies 🍪 has got some nute burn... But she'll be alright... Don't know what's going on there.. Have another really new strain I've never grown that's Limited Edition by Green House Seed Co... It's burning up a bit too.. Just must be sensitive.. Everything else it growing good. Final plant reservoir PH adjusted to 5.8 and topped off. 10/18 Reservoir topped and adjusted to 5.6. Trichomes are perfect for harvest now so we will pull her tomorrow for dying. 10/19 Chopped the final plant and placed upside down for drying. This strain is one of the more powerful smelling ones for sure. 10/20 Trimmed a few buds for pictures and added video. Cleaned the tent nice and good. The drying is on target and going well. 10/25 Fantastic plant and getting danker as she cures. Drying is done and trimming was just finished up! Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

The plants still look a little hungary , but with the temperature outside dropping it has been down to 19.5 highs in the tent. So rather than adding my 500w heater , I have thrown in a Easygrow 100w led QB with Samsung H leds. I have given them a KNF foliar feed and bio enhancer yesterday, I'm hoping more heat and light will get them feeding well again.

Girls are looking great so far! I added about 2ml/g to the reservoir and the plants responded well. Got a good explosion of growth over the last few days. I was able to start LST training the largest of the 4 today and the other 3 will be a day or 2 until they will be ready to start LST. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Currently at 2,722 grams with stems and untrimmed. Hoping to get around 800 grams dried. Prior to harvest I run lights for 48hrs

We have Hurricane Erin approaching and are under a tropical storm warning with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. I found bud rot in a few spots on my Auto Candy and cut them off. 8/19 Auto Candy is 63 days from germination. Divine Seeds says give it 1-2 weeks more. With the hurricane approaching, we are expecting rain for most of the week. Given the bud rot I found and the pending weather conditions for the next couple of weeks, the remainder of the grow will be In the tent where I can control the environment. Finally the harvest, I put them to dry on 70x70cm mesh; I gave them a first manicure, in about 10 days when they are dry I will give them a second manicure and proceed to cure them.👌

I am impressed with the result, and I don't really believe that I will ever be able to improve it :) It was a truly amazing journey with FastBuds Gorilla cookies auto, my house is filled with a wonderful sweet smell, the buds look really full and very very shiny :) I also collected a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) the girl coped with high temperatures and high humidity throughout her growth, which is why I was afraid of rot, but everything went well!!!! 8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." That's when my perfectly cured buds will be ready to enjoy! Amazon - Hygrometer 12 Pack Target - 32oz Ball Mason Jars 12 Pack I use a smell-proof duffle bag. She went from about 900 at the beginning of the week to about 330. Now she's back up to 500ppms. We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. this week is going really good! I am flushing right now with just plain water. I was supposed to harvest but I decided to give it another watering since the ppm values were the maximum recommended for harvest and I want as less fertilizer in my buds as possible😁 next time I'll water I'll give them 4/5 liters per plant and when the soil is kinda moist and about to dry I will give them 24 hrs of darkness to increase resin and then FINALLY chop everything off! I'm really excited to try them! they smell really amazing.
