So I left for a week and had a trusted friend take over watering duties. A few things of note: I was concerned over overheating the grow so I turned the power down to 75% and ran the light up another 6 inches. This had the unfortunate effect of less airflow and cooler temps so I got powdery mildew that I would be fighting for the remainder of the grow. That aside, the plants looked way more mature when I returned home, with nice trichome development and density.

Just cut up the lemon shining silver haze yesterday, first pics are from after i cut the wonder pie (from another diary) and i put one of my plants from outside there instead. Going to post more updates when i can actually smoke it!

2/9 NL: slow going, but going. 2/11 NL: few more weeks? Gave pH balanced water today. Pistels seems to be darkening, which is encouraging. Going to check trichomes this weekend... Hopefully mostly cloudy at this point!

Started with some bent which really made side branching take off. I'm just doing leaf tucking, all branches get plenty of light, so no need for bending IMO. One is quite a bit bigger than the other, if this is a fenotype thing or something I did we will never know since the sample is too small to make conclusions... So its the one in the slightly smaller pot that is bigger. Also, I switched positions between both to see if this makes difference... but I never noticed hotspots or such in my earlier grows.... One of my annoyances of small-scale operations is that there is never enough data to be able to make conclusions based in facts. It could always be nature or nurture, because I lack control groups. Maybe my government will someday finally see the backwater retardedness of our way of dealing with cannabis. For now no other option than staying within the law. I like weed and growing but I like my freedom more. The XL Runtz are remarkably resistant and vigorous, with extreme growth in just under three weeks after germination. Beautiful plants and they handle a high light / high organic nute situation from very early on. Coming week I'll just be leaf tucking, no further LST since they are already going into flower. Ill be adding BAC Organic Flower coming days along with my solution of wood ash and perma tea. Also Ill be starting the three 56 ltr growbags to start the three regulars that will run in the same 18 hr lightschedule. And that light, trusty SP-3000, what a machine, what results so far and how reliable so far. She doesn't get too warm at all, just contributes to a nice greenhouse atmosphere without any climate management other than me checking temps and RH. Usually, I need no adjusting, no ventilation, no heating or airco, my system is pretty self-containing and autonomous in the stabile attack where it is. And lets be real, I get results as in grams per watt and per plant that only the 600 watt / Hydroponic guys get. With organic growing, in such small scale with 300 watt. Day 4 - light LST training. This window is very small to Train correctly and not lost any main stems..the knuckle tends to solidify quite quickly and begins to swell if feed properly...making bending by the knuckle risky

Start of the second week of flower. Things are looking great these are from bag seeds so sexing has been well drama in the grow room to say the least. Much bigger then expected that was good and bad ive had one boy so far and one is questionable its in the pics also my punch breath still hasnt shown anything but its a beast and looks promising very female like growth patterns super stinky too she always was since her first set of real leaves she was a skunk

My light fell on my plants yesterday. , the pot of my plant in the first corner was broken, I bought it in a different pot. In my other plant, 2 branches were broken, I taped one of its branches, it became crippled.

The grow was a complete success

Diary Legend: 💧- Watered 🌱- Seedling 🌲- Cut Down 🍃- Defoliation ✂️- Topping or FIM'ING 🚂- Training (LST) 💩- Fertilized Wk4 11/17/21: Day 22. 🚂The plant had to be readjusted already, so I moved the staple further out, the keep the tip bent over. I will begin training of the lower branches very soon. Two bottom ones out to the back, along with the next row. That way it will be growing the opposite direction of the main colas, and allowing more branches to grow into bud. Deciding to train was a great idea, as the lower shoots had grown quite a bit since yesterday. With only 3 more weeks left before flowering, maintaining the plants shape should be easily achieved. Love the dark green colour of the leaves. While many would say there is too much nitrogen, I think it's just fine. No issues with the leaves, everything looks normal. 11/19/21: Day 24. 💧Plant is growing well, minus the distinct leaf burns on the tips. The soil is only holding a slightly higher ratio of nutrients, but it is now the full recommended dose. Overall it's still in quite good condition. One thing I love, is how I messed up the FIM, and allowed the two new shoots to grow, while somehow still having the center shoots still grow. Albeit it's a little smaller, as it look longer to sprout, but it's definitely there. Not sure if it's 3, or 4 shoots now. I will spread the two long ones out a little at first, but then I'll let them all grow out together, like a pronged spear. Watered the plant fairly thoroughly, as it was definitely asking for a drink. 11/21/21: Day 26. Plant is looking great. Lower branches are being tied back and out, to allow for an even spread. About another week of the main stem being trained, with the final week being allowed to grown out and up. I still want it it be the main cola, as it would be nice to see what the colas end up looking like. 11/23/21: Day 28. 💧After a bunch of fiddling around with an idea for the plant, I went back to how it was, using staples. I spread the new growth on the top colas, allowing more light to reach the middle shoot. Just a few more days before I let it start growing out more, and then flip over to flower. I will water the plants after dinner, as I forgot to yesterday, and up until just now (3:54pm). They were fine earlier, so it's nothing to be worried about.

My Bubble OG plants are looking really good. I chopped down the first one a few days ago, and it's almost dried. The other two plants are absolutely covered in buds. The tall one's a monster, totally solid and covered in crystals. And that purple plant is just gorgeous, stacked with buds all the way down. Can't wait to try them all out. The past week has been awesome for drying my plants. The weather's been perfect – nice and dry, with just enough breeze to keep things moving. I finally got around to chopping down those two big plants I've been meaning to trim. They're almost ready, just need a little more time to dry out completely. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

This is a seriously hard plant to take photos of, it's so big and lanky. She's on about a 20 degree angle at this point too, she's very top heavy 🤣 Very impressed with this girl. I almost tossed her out as a seedling due to her mutation; I've included a seedling photo to show the reader how far this plant has come. She has produced very dense and sticky buds with extremely strong aromas. She smells like candy and gas, just like a zkittles female would smell late in flower. It's been an easy grow. I'm expecting about 4 oz of high quality flower after dry and cure stages. I intend to press at least half of my yield with my rosin press. This seems like the perfect strain to make concentrates with due to the high terpene/trichome levels. I just added a photo of the Forbidden Runtz i grew in round 1 directly above round 2 flower for a comparison between the two. Round 1 is the two top buds that have more brown/red tone in colour. Round 2 are the lower two buds...a bigger, danker, and better version of the Forbidden Runtz I grew the first time. Please leave a comment to tell me what you think of the photo comparison.
