Day 93. Second and third wave of chop has happened. Girls are really crystally and airy, leafy, stretched, look more like sativa, but some of them are queens of oil and stickiness and one beuty was pure black currant, felt like you are eating jam, not smoking spliff ;))) But a lot of them went to bubble hash or butter production. Still, first wave of chop brought me 120 of smokabelish crap ;)) Royal Gorilla clone brought in from green house, 3 most interesting girls left for watch out ;)) Freak show goes on !!! ;)) Day 98. Girls are going good. Stinky and crystally, just VERY VERY airy ;)) RQS RG clone finally adapted to lights, leaves are praying again, she is happy. I feed them with the Hybrid Powder and some Booster from Green House Feeding Nutrients, I gave them some CalGreen from Metrop, the best Cal-Mag of the market. Auto Opium week 8 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debbie., in the 80 with low humidity Auto Opium is thin and spindly, branches continue to bend so I added hoop supports. I sure hope she makes it to the end in one piece. If necessary, I remove the colas and chuck into the freezer.. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. Bridal starting to smell like a mix between fresh watermelon, and lemon+lime or a citrus aroma.

Schwerer rückschlag: sciarid larvae (trauermückenlarven) haben die Hälfte der seedlings angefressen. Nur die Pötte, wo neue pflanzerde drin war, wurden verschont. Diese Mücken legen ihre Eier in feuchtes Substrat und die Larven fressen Keimlinge und junge wurzeltriebe... klassisch Pech gehabt.. tausche jetzt die Erde und setze das dritte mal an diese Saison. Das Zeitfenster für automatics ist noch groß genug 🙂 Aufgeben ist keine Option.

So es geht in die letzten Tage vor der Ernte. Tag 65 Blüte ist der letzte Tag mit Licht und jetzt geht es 48h in die Dunkelheit und dann wird geerntet. Die Ernte ist gut verlaufen und aktuell trocknet die Gute bei 57% RLF und 20°C Der Geruch war sehr fruchtig, cremig, beerig. Ich melde mich nochmal mit den Trockengewicht und Smokereport

Wow, another week done. It's become an absolute jungle in my greenhouse. A few of the GG4/Sherbets tops had to be mainlined since they're hitting the top of the greenhouse at 7ft8in tall. The smell is definitely getting stronger every day and it goes from super pungent, to sweet, to almost tropical. They're all still looking nice and healthy. The Athena Blended Line works wonders with my well water as the plants couldn't be happier. All in all Happy Growing.

Week 1 and the first round of testing for this recent new cross. The F1 generation of Northern Spice. Germination was a full 100% with varying degrees of development across 3 days in the towel. Oddly however, about half of the beans cracked the shell head first with their cotelydons. Stability is always suspect with F1s anyway, but this kind of sampling, this early is concerning somewhat. We’ll see where it goes. On another topic, we also made some big changes to the grow method this cycle. We’ve moved over to a grow system by the bucket company. Fairly similar to the Dutch bucket design, just without the small reservoir in each bucket that acts as an additional insurance policy. So far, she’s purr’n like a kitten👌. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, mixed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower.
