Day 43 - I have started LST as this plant i know won't grow much in height, im gonna use it to teach myself techniques/perfect a technique. I hope ive done a decent job of it. Excited to see what happens over next few days. Day 44 - im very proud of my little plant. It looks so strong after the first day of LST. Definitely surprised with the results. Day 45 - Plant seems to be adjusting just fine to LST i do keep checking it. There is a bit of leaves overcrowding to pne side. I will probably have to move if i can! Day 46 - I'm thinking if i need to do more LST or just leave it now to grow. Day 47 - the plant is really starting to woden out and stretch as well. I need to see when it will flower it looks like it might do soon. Day 48 - The plant looks well. I believe she has started to flower so i really have to get my fan and filter asap. Day 49 - She defo started flowing and i just bent ome stem to allow more space between each other ;But they looks really good. Also entering another competition can't win if you don't partake.

week 11 75 days according to the breeder this strain has 7-8 weeks of flowering. with the possible stress that the plant has suffered maybe it has slowed down its growth a little. but since I'm not impatient and I have time is not a problem. I like to let it mature on point so I let it roll for another three weeks. As for the sample I took a week before... it was on a good track. I could already feel some notes and aroma but deep down. very heavy and harsh smoke, to remember that there was no flush or cure, just dry. Now its waiting for the whole plant dry. 🤞🙏

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Only 1 feeding this week no watering, I will water orange today pot drying out quicker than banana. I've done some light defoiliation on lower branches of both plants.

Day 26 and things are still looking really good , been giving the girls LST as much as i can , I also got rid of a couple of leaves that were really blocking the budsites. But overal the girls are reacting well , the mega power plant auto is already showing some signs of flowering since she is starting to produce her first pistols on her nodes. A spaceship landed in front of my house today. Some weird green creature comes out of the craft ,hands me a box and takes back of on the spaceship. So ofcourse im wondering what it is ... I open it and there it was , the mars hydro ts600. A gift from the gods ! Hung it up in my tent straight away. So in total i have the mars hydro ts600 hanging and the mastergrow 600w wich pulls about 130wats. With both hung up i total 230 wats maybe a bit more. Still think i have to wait 1 more day before i can give them some water and top dressing. I used a macro lens from a fish eye kit you can buy for any phone to make that macro video, i highly recommend them it’s so easy to see when i can harvest , these are also very cheap but you do need a steady hand haha. I smoked some smaller buds about a week after harvest & it already tastes amazing almost like a reaalllyy sweet banana haha & the burn is good also i was suprised it was smokeable so fast. Fat banana is one of my favourite strains from now on! I also had 1 Sour Diesel in the tent but i’m still curing that one

Hallo Growfreunde, da bin ich wieder mit einem kleinen Update 🤗😁. Heute ist Tag 5 nach der Umstellung auf 12/12. Der stretch sollte sich bald bemerkbar machen, aber sollte keine Probleme geben, Platz ist da😎💪. Ich habe diese Woche den Tank das erste Mal nachgefüllt, allerdings diesmal mit nur 20L, damit das Wasser nicht so lange steht. Es hatte sich ein kleines CalMag problem angedeutet, was sich aber schonwieder eingependelt hat. Entlaubt habe ich auch. Große Fächerblätter wurden entfernt, aber sehen tut man dass nach 2 Tagen schon nicht mehr😅😅. Ende Woche 2 werde ich nochmal lollipoppen und entlauben, danach wird nix mehr gemacht. Mal sehen ob der Dünger bis zum Ende reicht😅
