The Sucker Punch Autos had some nice growth in their third week. I gave them a very low dose of nutrients with their last watering this week for the first time and they seemed to have enjoyed it.

I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... here we are for the SSSC contest grow update. 14.06.2024 the two murphys sister grow well in their new soil. the litlle flowering one slowly get chunkier and the stunt one finally wake up and stretch nicelly ( she could be a chalenger) 18.06.2024 3 day of canicule have been annonce at 9h00 am the outside temp have reach 29°C, the room temp is at 33° and the grow tent is at 36°. to avoid any over heat stress to the sister they have been set outdoor for the heat wave. 20.06.2024 the outside temp hit 38°c today can t imagine how high it may have reach in the grow tent. The murphy sister really like the sun light the stunt one just grow 2 inch per day, she is now 3 time bigger then is sister... unfortunatelly she have been snap , almost unroot, by my neighbor dog. try to fix her best as i can. 21.06.2024 thunder storm alert today so the sun therappy is finish anyone return back to the growtent, the snaped sister look okay. maybe i will rescue her an other time. 22.06.2024 the injured sister look really bad this morning. and passed out by the end of the day. she haved been set to dried, the terps is so amazing, kind of a woody sun ripped cherry crumble. 04.07.2024 the RIP murphys sister is dry, she gave me 1g of tinny fluffy bud sticky like hell and smelling like heavent

I grew 3 plants 2 grew well but stalled due to water and lighting at back of a cold tent once this was sorted all grew within there height range which is small and compact with my 6.5 liter pot range 8n biobizz all mix with mycorrhizal added. This is my first ever grow and the genetics wowed me i took a lot of info in about autoflowering plants and the 2 main things that run true are pot size and reduce feed as autoFlowering plants need less due to restricted height although I saw amazing growth in 3rd -6 weeks this if you dial in could increase your yields. The plants had a mild floral berry smell during early stages and kept this smell allways through. Once in bloom they grew vigours and buds oozed resin . There colour are truly amazing I have 2 dark plants that changed colours! And 1 tall lilac plant that too on its amazing colour during late Flowering planted in cold weather these came through sweet looking. Final weight on last plant #2 dry buds in sugar leaf I leave on is 12.6 grams there still 2 lower branches I've tried to seed with her hermI pollen

Last 2 weeks were rough. Had to fight spidermites, high temps (had the AC on for 10hours of the day just to keep under 28 day and 20 night. Despite all this, the ladies seems to be bulking up now, still 5 weeks to go.

Well most of the autos have came into flower a couple are still slacking behind and the others are a week younger so i expect them to come into flower in the next week or so..

Ok, so I forgot to update this last week. woops, I will try and remember all the details but im sure to be forgetting something. I decided to strip the plants a bit as I felt their bottom half under the canopy was a bit to thick and under performing It has a bunch of shity stems and buds trying to develop and they where looking sad and spindly, not enough light, If i had under canopy lighting sure that's fine I'd leave em and they would thicken up, but I don't; so they had to go. I selected defoliation as a techniques used but I did not touch anything in the canopy. only below it, it was all not performing well and would have just increased the risk of bad airflow and maybe rot come late flower. I also have been noticing more issues with the one plant then the others and my hydro shop guys said it need more feed, I don't know how much I agree with them about that, they do not grow with amendments but it was time for the topdressing anyways. I mixed up the stuff and worked it into the top soil of the plants outside on the deck, when watering it in I also mixed it with my hands, I found this helps hydrate the Gaia Green powders and prevented them from forming dry pucks in the top layer. I think I need to always do this morning forward with all top dressings as just mixing it into the dry soil then watering is causing to much resistance and the top layer then gets a little bit crusty and hydrophobic, but mixing in while watering at the same time has prevented that from what I can tell. I also gave them a bit of a liquid soluble calcium as the PH was creeping back up again and didn't want that to be locked out. It helped to green up some of the plants again still the one is a bit to yellow for my liking. The top dress consisted of AP 4-4-4, PB 2-8-4 and some IF 3-2-4 Mixed it all up with something else can't remember, probably fulvic acids and magnesium. I also did a bit of a calibration on my tools as well as I felt they might be off a bit. The EC was not to bad, off by 41ppm or 0.082EC vs the base solution, my unit is a 500 scale pen eg. 500ppm=1.0EC PH was a bit more off by PH 0.18 from the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I did not do a before for the PH 7.01 calibration solution as I started at 4.01 but its still close enough in the end at PH 7.03. The storage solution is almost always the same as the PH 4.01 calibration solution. In their manual it says if you don't have any storage solution just use the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I feel they maybe the same thing but one has red dye and some stabilizers in it. Who knows. O and when working on my deck garden I was upcycleing the old cannabis growing mediums into the planters from the strawberry tent grow off, the one shaft from an older plant was purple inside when I broke it. It sat outside all winter so who knows what it was, I'm guessing its just anthocyanins or something similar. The buds are very tight, but they didn't grow large colas so that means wasted time trimming cannabis, which I am not a huge fan of. I will not be growing this strain again, as I believe there are far better breeders and strains out there. I will continue to seek out the best breeders and strains until I am satisfied. I believe this Auto will yield in the 16-22 Ounce range dry, so I am not super disappointed, but I know I can do much better than this. After 6 days of drying, it took me around 7 hours to trim this auto, and she ended up yielding 16.72 Ounces. So she was definitely on the lower end of the spectrum from what I estimated on chop day, but still in the range. The buds are very tight, and smell like like cheese. I am only running one mature auto at a time now, so next up will be the Acid Dough from Ripper Seeds. I hope everyone has a great rest of your weekend, stay safe and Blaze On!!
