Day - 2 - First thing I do is put the seeds in a glass of water for the first 24 hours in a cool dark place .
Day - 1 - After 24 hours the Seeds then get placed in an air tight container between layers of wet tissue and again placed back in a cool dark place
Day 0 - Once most of the taproots are out I go ahead and mix 1.5l of bottled water ( Volvic ) with 1.5g of ecothrive Biosys then pre soak 10 jiffy plugs and transplant the seeds.
- The jiffy’s then get placed in a propagator and under a 125w cfl for the first week.
- For the first week they get 5ml each of plain ph’d water when they need it ( just to moisten the plug ).
Day 1 - looking like 90% again although the last one really looks like it’s trying , let’s wait and see.
Day 2 - I gave them 5ml plain water today as the jiffy’s seemed dry, that last one still looks like it wants to come thru, give it till end of week if not it will be classed as a dud.
Day 3 - All seeds have germinated but streched in the propagator ( Removed the propagator lid to give them more
air ).
Day 4 - Give them 5ml plain water each to moisten the plug
Day 5 - Today I potted the jiffy’s in 3l super air pots filled with Ecothrive 100% coco and watered them in with plain ph’d water, they will now be left till Monday when they start feed ( unless they dry out super quick, in that case will give them 100ml of plain ph’d water ).
Light : 20% / 60cm
Day 6 - Coco still moist so no need to water today but added the Co2 canister to help photosynthesis
Light : 20% / 60cm
Day 7 : Rest ( every Sunday I allow the pots to dry out ready for the new weeks feed )
Day 8 - Started nutrients today have fed them half a litre each. Will see how long it takes to dry out now n feed every other day or every 3rd day. As when I changed to leds I found out they don’t dry out as quick as when I had gavitas.
Day 12 - They are fed ph balanced plain water to flush away any extra nutrients locked up and left to dry till Monday
Day 15 - They are fed there new weeks nutrients ( from here I feed as and when they need allowing 1 day flush at the end of the week and drying period )
Day 19 - They are fed ph balanced plain water to flush away any extra nutrients locked up and left to dry till Monday.
New environment set up will be transplanting into bigger pots Friday then watered in.
Day 25 - Today I transplanted them in to 12.5l super air pots and moved them to there new home fed them ph’d balanced water only and will leave till Monday again as the coco has added charge and I’ve seen good results when potting on in the past :). I also activated the exhale Co2 bags to maximise photosynthesis.
- I leave the lights on 25% for the first couple days so they and raise over the 3 week of vegetative growth.
Day 27 - Gave them a little trim removing and large fan leaves covering bottom branches as I don’t like removing main branches so try to get them to come thru as early as I can, won’t touch them from now till 1 week before the switch when I’ll top and defoliate.
They will be on same nutrients now till the switch aswell watering as and when they need it.
Not really much to say this week all 10 are growing fine with no problems at all
I Will keep removing the larger fan leaves as I go along, I do this in order to try and get as much light to the bottom branches as I can before I switch them to 12/12. This will hopefully keep the canopy as even as it can be without having to do to much training or topping.
Day 34 - Looking abit skinny and after the defoliation, but had to remove the middle growth and large fan leaves to get light to them bottom branches and new growth tips. I’m aiming to keep them small and bushy
Everything going well with this strain no problems and growth is very fast, they bounce back after any defoliation.
Day 41 - Gave them a haircut today and a good Biosys tea feed till run of will leave now till start of next week
Planning to add a drip irrigation feed system this week to make this a little easier. 🤞
Will update next Sunday now end of week 6 as will be busy adjusting and implementing the irrigation feed.
Day 47 - I topped, defoliated and flushed with plain ph’d water 10 days before switch to 12/12
These led lights keep the plants really short with a lot of middle bushy growth have already taken 2 bags full of leaves and all look healthy still🤞👍
Day 48 - Looking good day after topping and defoliation :) good sign will update end of week 8 flip to 12/12
Everything looking good this week happy with the vegetative stage with the th Seeds original Bubblegum. Says they are an ibl strain so the genetics should be stable, which is less chance of 10 different phenos ( update me If I’m wrong here, still learning )
Day 54 - today I did the last defoliation and lst 2 days before swith to 12/12. Middle growth was insane so spread them out abit by screwing small screws in to the pot and using the as a tie down
Day 55 - all plants seemed to have bounced back the day after and look exactly how I planned so far so good
Day 56 - final day of vegetative growth all seems good, all females showing white hairs , have raised the lights and turned Intake to full to maintain humidity levels and switched lights to 12 / 12.
Everything going nicely so far not much stretch after the first week and bud sites popping up everywhere.
Day 66 - they were really bushy so decided to give them a lil hair cut, cutting away all the big fan leaves leaving all the bud sites.
Day 68 - I fed them until run of today as going on holiday next week and have a pal sorting them out from Monday
So far so good :)
Will wait till end of the 3rd week and give them a little defoliation to improve air flow and light spread untill then there fed either everyday or every other day depending on when they need it.
Day 76 - I was on holiday all this week so not many daily photos, was able to gather the Energy the day after I come home to give them there proper defoliation at the end of week 3.
No complaints or problems as of yet with the strain very easy to grow with little maintenance
Day 83 - end of week 4 flowering and everything thing going good , super easy to grow so far with no problems. They have started giving of a really sweet smell can’t wait to taste 👅
