Day 70 has arrived. Did my first flush yesterday. Ppm on runoff was still 1450. Other growers have harvested this strain around day 75. Also cut a bunch of fan leaves yesterday. Couple more flushes and maybe try the 24 to 48 hour dark period to fatten buds up a lil more. Waiting on trichomes. Very happy with 1st grow! Stinky and sticky!

With the last heat wave, I had an answer to one of my questions, clearly my chiller is not doing the trick. I have water temperatures that went up to 27°, which is way too much, the plants deprived of oxygen, started to declare several deficiencies due to an assimilation slowed by the lack of oxygen. It is then that a nasty fungus came to say bijour, it is me MR pythium! It was necessary to act, at the risk of having to restart the culture. So I applied hydrogen peroxide and ROOT ROT X, and both products are doing harm to this nasty pythium, things are now back to normal. On the other hand, the plants had a decreased growth for 10 to 15 days, so I'm going to extend my growth for 10 to 20 days, that is to say 1 or 2 soups, I'll choose according to the root development of the plants. Before going to flowering, I have to catch up this delay in order to make a nice crop.

Rückblick der letzten zwei Wochen –Turbulenter Start und wichtige Lektionen Die letzten zwei Wochen waren alles andere als ein Spaziergang, aber meine Pflanzen haben sich tapfer geschlagen, und ich habe eine Menge dabei gelernt. Der Start war holprig, hauptsächlich wegen einer defekten Luftpumpe, meiner langen Arbeitszeiten und der notwendigen Grundreinigung der Anlage. Die erste Woche: Der Kampf ums Überleben und die große Reinigung Die erste Woche war echt kritisch. Ich war viel in der Arbeit, und genau da ist meine Luftpumpe ausgefallen. Diese Pumpe ist eigentlich dafür da, meine Nährlösung mit Sauerstoff zu versorgen – lebenswichtig für die Wurzeln! Ohne sie bestand die Gefahr von Wurzelfäule. Die Pflanzen sahen gestresst aus, ein paar Blätter waren welk oder leicht gelblich. Das war ein klarer Hinweis auf den Sauerstoffmangel. Aufgrund dieser Probleme und um sicherzustellen, dass keine weiteren Komplikationen auftreten, habe ich die gesamte Bewässerungsanlage grundgereinigt. Das war zwar zeitaufwendig, aber absolut notwendig, um alte Nährstoffreste oder Ablagerungen zu entfernen, die die Funktion beeinträchtigen könnten. Das hat mir gezeigt, wie wichtig es ist, die Technik immer im Blick zu haben und regelmäßig zu warten. Dazu kam, dass ich durch die Arbeit kaum Zeit hatte, die Beleuchtung optimal einzustellen. Das hat anfangs auch zu etwas ungleichmäßigem Wachstum geführt. Die zweite Woche: Erholung und Stabilisierung – mit Klimaanlage! In der zweiten Woche konnte ich endlich eingreifen. Nachdem die Luftpumpe repariert und die Lichtverhältnisse angepasst waren, haben sich die Pflanzen sichtbar erholt. Das Wachstum nahm wieder Fahrt auf, und die Blätter wurden wieder kräftig grün. Es war eine Erleichterung zu sehen, wie widerstandsfähig sie sind! Aufgrund der aktuellen Hitze verwende ich jetzt zusätzlich eine Klimaanlage. Damit halte ich die Raumtemperatur konstant bei etwa 27 Grad Celsius, was für die Pflanzen im Moment optimal ist. Das hilft enorm, ein stabiles Klima zu gewährleisten und Stress durch hohe Temperaturen zu vermeiden. Ich habe gelernt, dass man auch bei Zeitdruck die wichtigsten Kontrollen nicht vernachlässigen darf und schnell auf Probleme reagieren muss. Die gründliche Reinigung war hier ein entscheidender Schritt. Trotz des holprigen Starts bin ich optimistisch für die Zukunft. Die Pflanzen haben sich trotz der Widrigkeiten gut erholt und entwickeln sich jetzt stabil. Die anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten haben mich definitiv aufmerksamer und proaktiver gemacht.

Bueno familia ya finalizamos, estas red hot cookies son una cepa bestial. La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 45% humedad y 23 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado. 4 plantas que se cultivaron en un armario de 1.20 pero estos ejemplares solo ocuparon 80x80. Así que ya está cultivada esta gran variedad que es novedad este 2020, americana de la familia Cookies, la Tropicanna Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie) con un porcentaje de thc entre los 17/25%, una bomba. Que decir de Agrobeta, lo peta 💪 en cuanto a nutrientes. Un saludo y buenos humos.

I didn’t join Grow diaries until this week so here’s where I am at! I plan to stay using this, I respect the community it feels like home, any way about the grow... WALTER WHITE/ MEPHISTO I have grown this plant before and she is definitely one of my favorite strains from Mephisto. It has a citrus, berry smell. The smoke is smooth and creamy. Week 4; Day 25 of flower(update) ~Average~ Temp: 76-83 RH: 42%-52% PH: 5.9-6.2 NOTES: This week the trichrome production was on the run. They started to put on. I am happy with the smell in the grow room/ tent. I notice some tip burn so I am going to give two waters at a ph of 6.0 then go back to the schedule. She grew another 17cm this week! 145cm tall!!!!!!!!! She is totally out of headroom now, her top cola is through the lights and getting close to the roof of the tent 😅 Fastbuds do say it can reach 1.4M... 😁 It's accurate, she is a MONSTER of a plant. This week I have done a quick video showing the result of my experiment a few weeks ago where I FIMed a couple of side branches. Take a look 😃 Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 powder mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. So, I believe the plant has russet mites. I found some eggs in another grow room. It would explain how the colas are forming. I have had russet mites a long time ago. I have not found them on this plant or any in the room. With being super tiny thus may be the reason. All I can do is rinse her off good. I don't prefer to smoke or ingest any chemicals. I will likely do the smoke report and grind the rest up for infusing. The mites would explain a lot of why it is growing strangely. I treated the walls with neem oil. Once the room is clear I will treat and clean everything good. Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! 😰 Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. These are strong wee plants!!! Vigorous as you like!!! Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400K's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield.
