Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. Blueberry Headband OJ Cheese Update Dec 29 Day 50 Flower Have noticed an immediate response from the plants after the leaching and light raising. 24” seems to be the magic number. Work up from 30-40% strength at seedling and gradually move up to 75% at the end of veg. By the third to last week of flowering should be at 100%. Have fed the Girls nutes Weds. Cheese got no N as it’s supposedly within three weeks of harvest. Next week will leach heavily and feed only water. The rest of the Girls got the full treatment. NPK and CalMag. This is three days after leaching. Tried leaving the exit fan on so the humidity wouldn’t climb too high during the evening. Turned the heater off as well so it wouldn’t be running constantly as the air was being sucked out anyway. The temp reached 59°F. A tad too cold. The next evening, even though the RH was still high, I left the fan off. Thought the heater was re-plugged in but no. Temp only went down as far as 62°F. Still too low but better. The third night everything was plugged in normally and 65° was the nighttime low. Acceptable. Going to keep the nighttime temp there for the remainder of the grow. Colors should appear. Blueberry Headband is doing well. #1 is sprouting new calyxes from the ground up and the flowers are turning a dark purple. It seems way ahead of #2 which seems to be behind them all. New calyx growth there as well but the buds are much smaller with virtually no red hairs while #1 looks like it’s almost ready to harvest if you were judging by the hairs. The aroma is intoxicating! The Orange Juice is leaping ahead! Looks like it’s getting ready to harvest as well but there has been an explosion of new calyxes and swelling hasn’t started on any of the babes yet. The Cheese may be starting. So, about three weeks for Cheese and 5 weeks for the rest. By my guesstimation, these should’ve been vegged for another two weeks at least. That would be eight weeks! Big learning curve this week as I metered my well water which I’ve been relying on more and more as bottled is expensive. Neither I nor my dog drink it. TDS is over 700 PPM. Almost double the safe consumption level of 400 PPM. Have leached the plants once more extensively using RO water with a final .5Gal of PHed water with SuperThrive. The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 79° with mostly cloudy skies. The nights have been dripping below 69°F, creating an ideal environment for powdery mildew. I watered about 3 gallons of well water. I treated with Arber biofungicide. Lady bugs were released and are having an aphid feast. Day 2 we had early morning rain followed by mostly cloudy skies. High temperature was 77. The rain took care of the watering today. I'm treating with arber again and more defoliation. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 81°F, skies were partly cloudy, and I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 83° with sunny skies. I watered 4-5 gallons from the well. I removed leaves with powdery mildew and treated with Arber. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 88°F. Skies were clear and sunny. The humidity was around 90% today. I watered 4-5 gallons from the well. I treated with Arber again today. Day 6 we had high temperature of 89°F. Skies were sunny. I watered about 4-5 gallons with well water. I've been treating these with Arber biofungicide and it's had some good effect. I stripped all the infected leaves.I'll get the third tomorrow. I'll treat these tomorrow with growers ally fungicide and see how that does. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F with partly cloudy skies. We're expecting rain tonight and it's super humid today. The weather is not cooperating while I'm treating for powdery mildew. This week was a success. The plants gained on average 3 inches in height. They've slowed down their upward growth and are transitioning into flower. The weather has been atrocious for cannabis. These girls are super healthy but the humidity and cool nights have caused perfect conditions for powdery mildew. I began treatment with Arber biofungicide and it's working pretty good. I'm switching now and will treat late day 7 with Growers Ally fungicide. I removed the infected leaves and defoliated to help light penetration.

Día 88 y penúltimo antes del corte. Ya se aplicó Flawless Finish para un acabado impecable como su nombre lo indica. Siempre prefiero hacer el lavado de raiz solo aplicando agua en las últimas 2 semanas, pero esta vez lo hice aplicando el finalizador y luego los últimos riegos con agua purificada. La verdad es que estoy contento con los resultados de esta nena, que es hermosa por cierto, desprende olores ácidos, cítricos, dulces. Los colores son hermosos y las flores están rebosantes de tricomas, lo que la vuelve muy vistosa. Es todo por ahora, estaré manteniendoles informados en estos últimos días. Buenos humos! 👽

Big Red (Or Big Purp) was one fantastic grow. One big bud that could pass for a weapon if used correctly. She was another experimental child of Delta 9 and I can say she liked it I'll update weights when she's dry but I can see her being quite fruitful no pun intended

Wow! She has been upgraded to a 4x4 tent with 600w of flowering lights (2x Mars Hydro TSL2000; 300w each) and she is LOVING IT! Continuing on the Early Bloom nute schedule and holding a super-solid pH/EC through the end of this week. Her uptake has started to slow, so I'm thinking that she is close to being done with stretch. She is definitely going crazy with buds as it looks to me like they swell more each day. I've been very happy with her growth so far; impressed even. I'm just hoping that the increased lighting doesn't cause her to herm due to the close distance. While the room’s been a little chilly, with temperatures around 18°C and RH at 60%, she’s adapting well. These slightly cooler conditions are giving her an opportunity to build resilience while still maintaining steady progress.
