She has grown a lot since last week so i did some more lst. I think that she has almost reached full growth potential if she hasn't already. The bud development is starting to ramp up. I also removed a few leaves I watered once with 2,5l of rain water and another time with 3l. There were some very hot days (32-38 °C) so she had to be in the shade a lot of the time.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Great finish to a fantastic run with this cultivar! terps were citrusy gas and sweet earthy. the smoke is thick and smooth with a earthy sweet and a little gas flavor. very nice. made some gassy smelling dry ice sift hashish. Never throw away your trim!!! it's the ultimate bonus to any harvest. this was a combined White Truffle and Trop Cherry Gas hashish. Finished up with 12 ounces of flower and 36 gr hashish

Scratch what I said at the end of last week pests are still around just had some bug fly at me and bite/sting me on the neck now a got a welt on my neck smh, not sure what the heck it was it was some sort of black bug maybe a thrip but I honestly have no idea, did another neem oil drench on the medium only and tomorrow I'm going to use a hydrogen peroxide mixture again that way I can also use it on the tops and undersides of the leaves as well. Some of the roots started to become exposed on the top soil so I added more an inch or two coco to cover the exposed roots. Another successful week I guess the plants aren't dead so onto week 9, Week 4 of flower

First week of flower, looking good so far in the first few days. Really noticing it stretching out and the tops are popping more now. Very excited to see the whole flowering process. The bloom nutrients when mixed with the kelp and calMag brings it to exactly 6.5pH I used to have to use pH up with the grow and down still for straight water as my tap water is 8.3pH Added in a Friend (Bloody Skunk Auto) for a hydroponic grow but took out a few days later and moved under my desk to give it a 24hr light schedule to help get her going and move back in after a week and leave in there. Plant has been doing fantastic this week, no longer seeing any issues. New growth looks great. She's looking really good. Been watering 4L every two days and feed every 2 waterings. Using CalMag with straight watering feeding. 540ppm (baseline tap water is 298-320ppm) Adjusted second fan to blow better on the very top. Haven't adjusted the lights and let the plant grow to it within 30cm distance as recommended by spiderfarmer. Will start to raise next week as plant grows taller to maintain the distance. No signs of tacoing so just leaving where it is.

So I have spider mites. I screwed up so much i think this is going 15 weeks. Lost coast to the rescue! time to finish these buggers off
