Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! still flushing 2 less hours of light

Everything went good the first week overall. I’m struggling to keep my humidity up in this tent even with a humidifier running directly in the tent. Outside the tent the room is 25% and my flowering tents are also in this room and sit around 40-50% inside. So I’m thinking I’m going to grab one of those fans that is controlled off your humidity value or a humidity controlled relay and continue to run my humidifier directly in the tent. If I shut off my outtake fan humidity skyrockets quick, but so does the heat, so I need something to turn on and off my fan relative to my humidity in the veg tent only and hopefully find that sweet spot of temp/humidity. May be a bit pricy but I think it will be worth the expense to keep my seedling/veg tent humidity up at the proper levels while still being in the same room as my flowering tents and still be able to keep them at 40%-50%. My humidity basically is the last piece of my puzzle I need to get under control in my grow room to have everything dialled in across all my tents. But we are making do until then, just a pain having to fill this humidifier 3 times a day...lol if I can control the air intake better I should be able to run the humidifier at a lower setting and use less water. Roots are just starting to leave the basket now, I have been taking a cup of water from the bucket daily and pouring it over the rock wool and pebbles back into the bucket to keep everything wet. Still running just strait water, I think I will be adding a very low dose of nutrients this week as they are at that point soon. That’s it for this week, be back again next week! Cheers💨

Week 7: 5x9 Main Stage Week 7 saw the four Chicken ‘n Wafflez, three Jelly Donutz and one Vanilla Frosting (all from Humboldt Seed Co.) really start coming into their own; soon it’s going to be a straight up jungle in the 5x9. Good news! The beneficial nematodes have worked wonders against the fungus gnat infestation; they knocked it down in a week, DONE! If you’re in living soil and haven’t invested in beneficial nematodes to prevent/combat fungus gnats, I’d say it is a must. I ordered from naturesgoodguys.com, received 5 million for total (shipping was the highest cost, so if you can order some other beneficial insects for your grow at the same time, do it, so you only pay for shipping once!) I’m thinking at the end of week 8 I’m going to flip to flower. That means I will need to take clones from each of the plants in the 5x9 this week, in case, later, any of them turn out to be keepers. As far as watering was concerned, they are definitely drinking more as they fill out these 30-gallon pots. Generally, the rule is 5-10% water by volume for living soil. I water every other day, generally, and for the most recent watering, I went ahead and gave a little over 2 gallons per plant. To make it easier to prep the water I just use 5-gallon buckets and do all my measurements accordingly for each bucket. I want to get in a better habit of filling the buckets for my next watering before I leave the grow, so the chlorine has at least 24 hours to off-gas, but sometimes I’m lazy and forgetful. It is supposed to be better for the microbes to let any chlorine off-gas… but like I said, it doesn’t always happen that way lol. I imagine if your water has more chlorine it could cause more of a problem for your microbes, in which case letting the water sit out for 12-24 hours would probably be more beneficial. Week 16! Week 8 of flowering. She is foxtailing on the topmost buds due to light stress. I measured 90k lux(!) at some buds, which is way too much (she got a little out of hand during the stretch, and grew way too tall) She is drinking less and less water and eating less nutrients. I think she is in the harvest window now, even though she is sprouting lots of new pistils. I will cut down and hang to dry next week, in about 5/6 days. Excited!! EDIT: BANANA ALARM Found a banana. There is probably more of them that I can't see because the lower canopy is so packed. Unsure if to harvest now or not. As it is late in flower I don't know if quality will suffer because of a few more days with herming. Opinions? EDIT II: BUD ROT As I inspected the plant today I saw a dead leaf on one of the tops, which I was able to pull right off. Turned out there was bud rot inside the bud. I cut the bud off. Will harvest later today or tomorrow.

Hello everyone 😎 Week 5 of flower for the Tropi🌴🍪 The top buds are ready✂️ Harvest in 2-3 times… Amazing buds solid as a diamond 💎 It’s not easy to get this result with an autoflower. Exactly what I’m looking for and this is why I love so much Fast Buds🤩 And when you get this result the trim is easier😁

🌸 Week 7 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week has passed and flowering is now in full swing across all 6 phenos 👀🔥 The differences between the plants continue to grow, and it’s becoming easier to see which phenos have the potential to become real standouts by harvest time. 📈 Current observations: Pheno #1 and #6 have finally started to catch up and are now slowly building buds as well 🌸 Pheno #5 continues to dominate the tent and has stretched to an impressive 130 cm The flower development on Pheno #5 is especially promising, with some bud sites already suggesting the potential for 25 cm+ colas if everything continues as planned 🔥 Pheno #2 and #6 are being overshadowed by the larger phenos and are clearly falling behind in overall size and vigor The structural differences between the phenos are now more obvious than ever, with some focusing on height while others remain more compact and bushy 💡 Environment & setup: The grow has now reached its current limits in terms of space and lighting: Light fixture raised to its maximum height Light intensity increased to 80% Summer temperatures pushing the tent up to around 32°C ☀️ Relative humidity averaging around 67% Despite the higher temperatures, the plants are still pushing forward and stacking flowers nicely. The next few weeks will be all about bud development, density, and resin production. 🏆 At the moment, Pheno #5 is definitely demanding attention, but there is still plenty of time for surprises. Sometimes the biggest plant doesn't end up being the best one, and that's exactly what makes a pheno hunt so exciting. 💬 Which pheno do you think will come out on top when harvest day arrives?

So here we are, at the end, a few months later. I was so happy that I'll finally grow a plant without any training at all, just to see the full and uninterrupted genetic expression. It was a blast to grow her, I can't wait for the plant to dry and give it a few weeks of curing but she smells great already. I also wanted to thank Divine Seeds for the contest strain and Bio Tabs for great Bio fertilizer. You can judge for yourself because I'll let the photographs speak for themselves. Speaking of photography, I went with a moody style this time, because she has a great structure. I've trimmed her a little bit here and there and I've left a few big fan leaves on both sides for better looks. The big fan leaves reflect the light so well, it make the whole plant shine. This is the fresh frozen wash from two of the four apricot autos grown, It’s smelling and tasting beautiful, with sharp lime/lemon notes mixed with a tropical pineapple and guava mixed drink, So far test pressed 5g of the 159u-73u live heads and it’s return around 71% with a 3.56g give back, For anyone who cares about whole plant fresh frozen yields, I washed 800g and gained 12/13g of 159u-73u heads

Week 14 of flower..She is very thirsty, drinking a gallon every 2 to 3 days. Watered and gave tea yesterday . I copied the details above from last week, didn't check this time. Getting very, very close. The purple is really starting to show now, very pretty! Lights out on Saturday March 26th , shooting for 72 this time.

Papaya cookies are incredible! All the pistils turn purple, incredible beauty of this plant. We are so happy to have caught this extraordinary phenotype and are looking forward to an early harvest in about 2 weeks time.

Wow what a week. We are at 48” as of day 20 on the Enemy of The State plants (both are the same height now). The two White Criticals were 36 and 38 inches from the top of the tanks and the taller tops on Purple Purple are about 34”. Wedding cake is about 30” now. All my plants seem to love the 5.2 pH. Enemy of the state are on a lighter feed of about 950ppm and wedding cake is still eating from a vegetive reservoir at 1125ppm. Thanks for looking!
