I've dropped to weekly updates on Bertha as a stunted plant she doesn't hold much interest for me, she is only alive because I am not desperate for the space. Here she is on day 49 end of week 7. I will take multiple photos and a video once a week until she is chopped.

Week 1 : Auto Colorado Cookies Biotabs sprouted quick bursting out of their shell, stayed in the propagator 4 days then straight and erly into the forever home prepared according to the @biotabsf69 method in 5 gal pots, all soil plus 23% perlite just eyeballed it dont know why i'm saying it was that precise lol. mixed in the startrex , added the mykos 3 in the pot and two in the cavity for the root plus, watered with orgatrex and bactrex then used boom boom spray to keep the humidity at around 70 for a day maybe a bit more. got some good pictures of the seedlings in but watered again with plain water 2L on day 3, now the medium is wet and wil likely remain so until late next week . just plain water until week 5 folks dont hold your breath. Just going to be using my special spray, co2 and kelp extract once a week some micro nutres in the spray of my own creation. Enjoy ! VPD .05 - 1.0 finally got it basically right after 3 days

Not actually much to report here! Some slight bleaching to the main colas and clearly the leaves are being sucked dry of thier nutrients despite my feeding. Clear indication of her finishing up now, slowly the frost is appearing and the stank Fast Buds warns us all about is very much apparent! 😁 a beautiful smell to be welcomed to when ever I’m inspecting! I’ll give her water after her final feed today of nutrients, next week should be harvest week looking at the trichomes current maturity and pace of development. Branches are completely full of buds, some are probably featherweight but I didn't really got the chance to do any mainlining on this one because of how weird she grew

Edit from 19th May. Literally 00:09 Pre-Flowering. Fat Banana looks like Hermie. Royal Critical = clean pre-flower. Edit from 19th May. 16:26 Fat Banana had balls sack and pistils growing all over the place. I nuked everything that had balls on it. I left only top node with pistils. Royal Critical is full of pistils, no balls. Now I wish I had photoperiod seeds instead of automatics. I would give Critical 1 extra week in veg. She is around 10-15cm smaller then Fat Banana. I switched the lights back to 400W. Edit from 20th May. 14:45 I think 32C is maximum what these plants can handle. With 600W I was reaching 34C on some top leaves and that could possibly turn the Fat Banana into hermit (she was the tallest). I open the tent a little (front doors), I put big-ass fan on second gear blowing strong wind through the mesh-window of a tent. I put the lights straight up to the ceiling, I literally can't put them any higher. Fat banana is now 58cm tall and around 80cm away from the light. Royal Critical is now 41cm tall and around 100cm away from the light. 50% Humidity 28C under the canopy/on the ground under the leaves 31C Air temperature. Right now plants sitting at 30.6C @ 55% RH So I'm sitting at 1.27 VPD? Starting to see purple in the buds! Completely covered in trichomes. Dropping temp to 61 at night. Excited for harvest. Smells sooooo good in here. Covered in purple now. Loving this color change. Super stanky!! Cannot wait!!

Kicked these girls off - 22/04/20 - Germinated 4 Zamnesia Runtz seeds - soaked in water with a drop of seaweed. All germinated fine. Paper towel method until tap root is around an inch. 24/04/20 - Added to rooters 28/04/20 - Putting them in their starter pots today to get rooted. Time lapse - 24th > 27th April. She is slowly growing. I was able to raise light intensity up to 650 ppfd without the corner plant now. They are taking up much more water now! *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

Esta semana voy a escribir sobre: CARBÓN VEGETAL ACTIVADO CON MICROORGANISMOS DE MONTAÑA. esta es una práctica avanzada pues al menos se necesita tener el inóculo sólido de Microorganismos de Montaña (MMS), aunque al final intentaré dar otras opciones para aquellos que no tengan MMS. Puedes consultar en la semana 3 la manera de hacer Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/725879 El carbón vegetal es un excelente componente para toda clase se mezclas de sustrato, tiene varias propiedades muy interesantes, ayuda a la estructuración del suelo y la creación de humus, es un regulador térmico en lugares fríos, favorece la expansión de las raíces y su estructura de microporos promueve la retención de humedad y nutrientes, se dice que en 1cm cúbico de carbón puede contener de 8 a 30 millones de Microorganismos. Y es precisamente la propiedad de retención de humedad y nutrientes, de la que se aprovecha esta práctica. El carbón vegetal llamado "activado" que se usa en filtros de agua o aire, tiene mala fama entre los aficionados a las peceras, porque se dice que roba nutrientes, principalmente Nitrógeno, esto tiene una explicación y no es un problema para cultivo en macetas, el carbón seco tiende a absorber humedad y los nutrientes que se encuentra en el sustrato o en los riegos, porque es muy poroso, y de repente, tiene que saturar todos sus microporos, pero esto apenas va a tener incidencia en un cultivo. En mi caso lo que hago es mezclar el carbón con los Microorganismos Sólidos y después lo humedezco con agua y melaza para activar la Microbiología del inóculo, dándole la energía necesaria, de esta manera tengo un carbón inoculado con Microorganismos de Montaña, y una vez en el sustrato, con humedad, estos MM, se propagarán. En este caso el carbón, de momento, no captura nutrientes porque está saturado, pero después de unos riegos, será la casa perfecta donde los Microorganismos y los nutrientes convivirán ofreciendo una fuente extra de nutrientes, para que las raíces se alimenten en periodos de escasez de alimento o humedad. Supongo que quien tenga inóculos bacterianos comerciales, podría usar esta práctica para multiplicarlos. INGREDIENTES BÁSICOS: Agua pura: 500ml Carbón vegetal, para usarlo en macetas conviene que los trozos de carbón no sean grandes. 750 gramos. Melaza: 75g Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): 225g PROCEDIMIENTO: Se mezcla el carbón y los Microorganismos sólidos. Se disuelve la melaza en el agua. Se humedece el carbón lentamente, mezclándolo bien, porque el carbón vegetal puede almacenar mucha humedad y necesita tiempo para saturarse. Se guarda a oscuras durante un mes en un recipiente cerrado. Hasta aquí la fórmula básica, yo hago algunos añadidos, como se puede ver en las fotos. Añado 260g de Leonardita, que es un carbón vegetal con millones de años y en el proceso de convertirse en mineral, aunque todavía no lo es, es además, la mayor fuente de ácidos húmicos y comparte las propiedades del carbón. Añado Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA) de forma líquida para aumentar la inoculación de microbiología, también un lacto fermento de frutas que aporta muchas vitaminas, nutrientes y enzimas... en la última foto se ve el recipiente después de un mes. Siguiendo el principio de saturación previa de los poros del carbón, para mezclas de sustratos, y sin tener acceso a microbiología, se podría, por ejemplo, saturar el carbón con alguna mezcla nitrogenada para el comienzo del cultivo, después el carbón seguirá cumpliendo sus funciones de estructuración de suelos, creación de humus y para retener humedad y nutrientes. So I just chopped the plant today. About 10% amber and 80% cloudy. Smells like candy! Very sweet and sticky. I stunted the growth by topping her a little late and transplanting—- yes I know about autos. But she took it and grew very short but mighty. Pretty pleased with the quality. Guessing 28 grams dry— drying right now. ✌️🏻💚
