12/18 4am CANNAKAN!!!! Giving my FAST Flowers a try. A late spring early summer grow. CannaKan is my new best friend, I had a 100 per cent success rate last time!!! Ok I got it all done at 5:30 am, I set the Temp to 88 MPH or the Time Machine wont work, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT! Marty will meet me in the parking lot at the mall, I have a great feeling about this. 11am Room temperature is 73. Heating Pad set to 88. Water temp 77.7 PERFECT!!
2:30pm blue dream is already starting to open. I think Tropicana cookies looks like she’s opening a little bit. They should all be open by tomorrow. It’s only been about nine hours.👍👍. 11:30pm They all opened. I drained the water put in new distilled water, made sure water level was right. Looks great!!!!
12/19 4am The temp looks good, all are opening nicely. I have to get the pots ready now, put on new stickers, they help identify the plants from different angles, especially in photos. Im doing a low power fast turn around grow in easy to move 1 gallon pots. They will all be topped above the 3rd node, then the bottom or 2nd to the bottom branches will be cut off to achieve a 4 cola grow. Very simple, easy to manage.
11am. 2:30pm, 5:30pm..so tired, finish in the morning.
12/20 12 am 1:30am Just finished TC & GS I had a little trouble seating GS, TC no problems, takes a while to learn. BD is still sprouting, not a long enough tail to bury yet.
9am I think im getting another CannaKan. 10am 👍👍👍
12/21 Put BD in the pot, not sure if she will go or not, I'm firing up the CannaKan and doing another, since its a photo I will keep it in Veg until my next grow cycle. I may do a full 3 gallon grow with this one and take clones, this is fun!!!! gardening, who knew? The new filter paper I got is a little thicker than what came with it takes longer to sink, more dramatic, I got medium in that blue box from amazon.
7am Tropicana Cookies is the Winner of fastest to sprout, she looks great! GS has the shell and skin, it could still fall naturally so I'll wait. BD is unchanged.
Micro-surgery on TC got the skin off and she popped right open!!
12:30pm SUCCESS!!! 4 hours later, she's PERFECT, worked GREAT!!! I NEVER thought I would be able to do seed surgery. That was my 3rd time doing that, success every single time! 4pm looks good.
12/22 9am. all look great, GS is taking off VERY strong overnight, TC has taken root her main stalk is already thick!! BD #2 is almost ready. I kept BD#1 underwater too long...then I accidentally ripped her head off this morning......so really not my fault......shhhhh.....
1 pm BD looks perfect 🤩 almost ready. 330pm Did the transplant...I really need to work on that....so nervous when I do it. Im not paid for this but CannaKan is one of the best products Ive ever used. I need lots of practice planting the radicles ...""In botany, the radicle is the first part of a seedling (a growing plant embryo) to emerge from the seed during the process of germination. The radicle is the embryonic root of the plant, and grows downward in the soil (the shoot emerges from the plumule)""..... I had to look radicle up... It makes a complete difference, I dont lose seeds now It just a million times easier using CannaKan.

Good strain for beginners. I could keep her on flowering for two or three more weeks , but weight is not so important.

Buds getting fat and quite a bit of amber in the trichs as shown in the video. I keep saying to myself chop it but just a little longer i think. Or whenever i get impatient. Currently flushing with just water.

The top buds are still fattening up but slower than last week. In the lower branches there are also many smaller buds that have started growing. I guess the plant is fattening up those as well. The flowering time of this strain is between 9 and 10 weeks, so it still has at least 2 weeks to fully mature. The top buds are looking nice and frosty, and the smell is outstanding!
More pics will be added after wednesday. I lost my Sanlight dimmer key and waiting for a new one to arrive. And taking pictures with the growlight at 100% is no bueno 😐
🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update
Allright so my dimmer is replaced and I can take more pictures of this frosty lady ✌️ The trichrome production on this plant is more than I have ever seen sofar. My microscope broke down and I'm waiting on a new one to arrive so I can inspect the trichromes more closely. We're entering the ninth week of blooming so the plant should be ready within 2 weeks.

Outcome was alright since i had a mite infestation for so long, still happy of what i got out of the plants! will update on dry weight and taste etc. Also that was the first time in grew with “decent” equipment, since i don’t have alot of money to spend i got these quantum boards off alibaba & i’m pretty impressed off what they are able to do!

SST 7g of alfalfa per 5l , foliar and soil drench , followed by a kelp foliar next day eyeing the dosage as it’s like 0.03 for my foliar spray bottle 🙄🙈 probably curling up because of that . Also tied down some fan leaves and did few chop and drops through out the last week also was topped at some point 😂 forgotten when
This week i will foliar with SST alfalfa & corn & kelp
Rest for the soil drench I will mix with super8 tea

Yay! Finally they get space in the bigger grow room, been waiting for weeks. The few mother's that were still flowering were able to fit into the tent.
Many of the seedlings were ready for transplant so I made room for them in the clone closet as well.

Another slow week. I increased light schedule to 13/11. I’m going to slowly lower the time of light until by the time harvest day comes it’ll have a longer dark period. I’m also going to stop feeding the bottle nutrients my soil is moist still so I gotta wait. I’m predicting a couple ounces this grow.

Had issues with RH this week have 2 humidifiers now a 1100 and 2200 eva dry and seavon. Seavon is better!!and cheaper!! Jet fuels growing tall buds as to where the plat punch is filling in most likely do to the indica dom on plat punch and all the sativa fuel strains in jet are just amazing it just pushes hard the whole time really great strain to grow. Tried TNB naturals co2 seems to have done something i have plumping wherever i put the bottle doesnt matter if its under the plants remember air gets sucked out the top so its going to pull air from below to the top with co2. Directly under plants no good toooo much moister off in the corner by a vent! 2 led lights going one 600watt using only red and whites the a 1500 full blast all colors veg and bloom. The bloom on the 1500 is only red its a Templay light no red and white but its working getting a little more stretch on that side of the tent. Found good info on using mutes drain to waste.. Alot of salt present (this is against whats commonly mentioned online) around the roots makes the plant compete with the soil or medium and produces shit tons more sugars and essential oils this goes actually for all plants grown hydro or drain to waste. If u feed one time then not the next ur stressing ur roots out hard thus stunting ur growth especially in late bloom. My plan is to feed until 8 to 10 days prior to planned harvest of 63 days in flower from switch. Then FloraKleen every other day with blackstrap

My first grow she looks sexy.this week I clipped of the top. I think I missed up a lil, I went to far down but she still looks great. She is starting to smell and is getting stronger And thicker. Any suggestions I would love to hear about them.

The harvest of my dear Stella was supposed to happen on August 4th, but didn’t begin actually until August 9th. I decided to allow her to dry out a bit before beginning the harvest, but I had some other difficulties which made her dry out a whole lot before I ever even got started. You can tell how dry by looking at the pics and video. Luckily, the dryness was limited to her larger leaves.
She was already quite dry on the 9th when I started, and was more so by the 12th when I finished. Even after the advanced drying, her wet trimmed weight was still quite a bit. I’ll list the weights all together in a bit.
It took 4 days to get the whole plant trimmed, weighed, and hung up for final drying. She was hung up from August 12th till Friday, August 19th. I got busy harvesting another plant while she was hanging up, and just let her be.
On August 19th I took all of her branches down and removed the buds to get the true harvest weight of her buds alone.
Let’s get to the weight of the whole thing. The overall wet-trimmed weight of the plant was 18.329 ounces with the buds and branches combined.
I was a forgetful idiot and forgot to get the weight of the dry buds on the branches before removing the buds. So all we’re left with is the actual harvest weight of the dry buds alone.
The overall dry bud weight, or actual “true” harvest weight of the smokable bud is: 7.317 ounces. That’s a wonderful amount of freshly harvested bud to cure.
All of the buds were put into 8 quart sized jars filled roughly 3/4 full, and 1 pint sized jar, also 3/4 full.
Each jar has a hygrometer as well as 58% bóveda packs to help aid the curing process.
This is the 2nd DarkStar plant I’ve harvested, and both were very large plants. I used a scrog method the first time with a net that spread the whole plant out taking up the entire 4x4 area of the tent.
This time I wanted to let her grow more naturally. She got so large that I had to bend almost all of her taller branches over using HST methods. I had to bend 3-5 branches over more than once. By doing that, once her buds began to fatten up she got too heavy and needed to be supported just to stand upright. Toward the end she had to literally be tied up to the side of the tent.
Stella (DarkStar) was a wonder to grow, and she gave me a good amount of clones that will soon be harvested themselves.
It has been a journey with Stella, and I’m happy that the journey is now complete. Happy growing everyone!
