10 weeks / 70 days old today. Buds are all a bit fatter and a bit frostier this week! They glisten in the light and and are well and truly coated. Noticed a few leaves with brown spots this week and after reading up I decided it could be a calcium deficiency. Gave a cal mag feed and monitored and no more brown spots have appeared. We’re pretty close to the finish line now so not sure I’ve done the right thing or whether I should just let it be. Few more old leaves at the bottom started to yellow so chopped them. Some trichomes are starting to turn milky but majority are still clear. Haven’t bothered with a picture because it’s so hard to get a clear one. Still taking up lots of water and giving 3ml of bloom nutrients in every water. Been reading lots about flushing and I’m not sure whether to do it. Read lots that say if it’s cured properly then there isn’t any difference to the taste. I think half the battle is knowing when to do it. How does a beginner know when you’ve got 2 weeks left?! Been tempted to chop off the popcorn buds and so glad I didn’t. I put some bulbs lower down to give them plenty of light and they’re fattening up pretty well. Bit worried again about the space issue. Lots of new pistils have sprouted and most are around the top buds. Read that it could be foxtailing due to light stress but could also just be buds fattening out and having a last try at pollinating 🤷🏻‍♀️ who knows! Overall another exciting week getting closer to the finish. Booked our summer holiday for August and trying to decide whether to start a new grow when these finish. there’s a risk they might not be done in time but I’m desperate to try again and improve on this one. I have well and truly got the grow bug!!

This week went really well ! Today we are at day 79 from seed an looking beautiful! One Forbiddin Runtz got chopped an hung to dry out an the rest are still flushing out through the rest of this week! Very nice looking fades coming along on the fan leafs from purple to green , so beautiful ! So happy with these genetics from @fastbuds_genetics! Super sticky an smell is so amazing, room full of purple punch’s an Forbiddin Runtz the smell you can’t beat, so many berries!!! Well stay tuned for next week! Cheers y’all

She’s mmmm. Aahhh flavours taste like a bit piney but overall has a sweet sherbety taste to her tropical almost fastbuds are the ones to go to for autos (although I’m about to test RQS autos) but if I didn’t have the heat I would of had more flavours but never the less it’s packing some 🔥🔥 buds come a bit pointy slimmer than my other dank nugs and grind out to a lot more than expected she’s a great one I’ll be doing her up again! My girl had a bit of heat stress but recovered so well with some dense frosty pointy nugs! She grew to just about under a meter and had several branches (wish I topped her) great strain to grow fastbuds are amazing She grew fast and branches out nicely! I defoliated twice once just after they began flower and once just before harvest and made the buds swell up nice and fat and dense even for pointy buds! The high is not one to mess with had me staring at fb videos for hours lol but great stuff from fastbuds be sure to grow it again!

I did some trimming this week. The plant grows well and healthy. I didn‘t use any nutrients because of the slight burn last week. Next week I am going to transplant the plants in their final pot and prepare them for flower at week 6. 🌴🍪

Day 98 The plants are deep into flowering now and really starting to fill out nicely. The buds have become dense and covered in a thick layer of trichomes, giving off a strong, sweet aroma that’s getting more intense each day. The pistils are starting to turn from white to a light amber tone, a good sign that the plant is moving toward maturity. Overall health looks great — leaves are a rich green, with only a few showing minor fade on the lower canopy, which is normal at this stage. I’ve been keeping a close eye on humidity and temperature to avoid any mold issues as the buds continue to fatten up. Feeding schedule remains steady with a focus on bloom nutrients and a bit of molasses to enhance flavor and resin production. Watering every 2–3 days, making sure not to overdo it.

unfortunately the week didn't go as planned. i discovered mouldy spots on her and decided to harvest part of her earlier. the mould hadn't progressed that far yet, so it wasn't a huge loss. i harvested a total of 101g wet. let's see what the rest of the plant will bring on the scales? from the state of flowering she will certainly need another good 2-3 weeks or even longer, let's see. but she coped well with the partial harvest.

Week 5 Veg Report: Croco Mutants A Quick Recap: The journey with my Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco girls has been a ride full of unique beauty and challenges. Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Week 5: Slow Growth, Unique Beauty This week has been all about patience, observation, and admiration. The mutants are growing at their own pace, but each plant’s unique beauty and dark green vibrance make it worth the wait. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. All-in-One Pellets : A complete nutrient solution providing the base nutrition these girls need already in the soil. Additionally, I’m continuing with bottom watering, where the trays are filled to let the soil absorb water passively. This has been effective in keeping gnats at bay, especially when combined with yellow sticky traps. Bottom watering also encourages the roots to grow downward, seeking moisture and building a stronger foundation. Growth Observations: Each plant remains a unique masterpiece: Leaves: The diversity of shapes, sizes, and structures is remarkable. From jagged edges to rounded tips, every plant tells its own story. Color: The deep, dark green is a testament to their health and the effectiveness of the Aptus feeding regimen. Despite slower growth, they’re thriving in their own way. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. From close-ups of water droplets creating reflections to stunning macros of leaf textures, the results truly showcase their beauty. Why Use a Camera Over a Phone? Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 4 weeks of flowering completed 26th March 2020 Hi Everyone I hope you are well , This Plant is starting to get some frosting happening and the smell has elvolved a little once again 😏 It's still got the tropical fruit like aroma but has got an underlying smell almost like honey. I had to get up Early this morning as an impending thunderstorm threatened to drench my plants which I wasn't going to let happen 😡 bloody rain 😆 It's all good now they are under cover and protected from any more showers we may have . She had a good feed yesterday of some Liquid potasium, Seaweed solution , Epsom salts and Mollasses so she should be content until the sun returns . Welcome to week 22 of my grow diary. It rained at the beginning of the week. On Monday and Tuesday I only left the plant outside for half a day and when it rained I put it in the garage so that the buds wouldn't get wet. Unfortunately, in this weather there is a high risk that the flowers will start to mould. Most of the trichomes are now milky. See you next week ✌️

Week 2: Trying to be anal about VPD. Feeding nutrients every watering, PPFD/DLI is not dialed in just following the manuals recommended light distance. Humidifier on the outside of the lower right vent and AC Infinity helps maintain RH %.
