Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

I got some new lights this week, so am looking forward to seeing the difference led can do, getting awesome growth from the auto's, and the fem seeds are going well too. All is well in the garden this week other than the Lsd 25 auto seed, which is struggling still, wet feet may be, I will try to dry the pot, before more water is fed. Any ideas?

As you can see the white powdery mold is starting to lose my thoughts were getting a HEPA filter into the room . 2) because this mold mostly lives on leaves what I did is I locked out the soil. This was a technique passed on by a legacy grower in my area.The way it was explained is by making the pH higher than seven the plant would no longer be able to receive nutrients through the soil and it would have to eat whatever nutrients are left in the leaves. This woukd change the pH of the leaves aswell to help kill the mold . Lastly I greatly increased my wind movement so that air would be continuously moving no matter what it was a little bit hard on the leave tips that burnt a little bit but at this point windburn on leaves is pretty irrelevant when you're looking at the whole picture. I don't think this would have worked with any other genetics but exotic seeds mostly because from what I've seen with them is a very high resistance to mold and I think that played a huge part of the process. Also having diablo nutrients monster wash, without that I do not think I would have won this battle

Since i put my filter the temperature ir a bit high, i think the extractor in not powerfull enough 😔 All 3 Sensi Skunk are 50cm tall, and starting to flower, Big Bug is 35 cm and only a few pistils.. I realized that i started to count day 1 when it was already day 5 or so.. but no problem 😁 I dont have a ph or ec meter (will be my next investment), i just have those drops for test ph, And today when i finished mixing the nutes, i tested with those drops and it was to low, (orange color) so i had to take off 1/4 off the solution, and add tap water, which has high ph and i manage to bring the ph up,(yellow color). Hope they like this mix of waters and nutes i gave them 😆 13/06/2021 Day 27 (from seed) - 1.7L water+nutes Day30 - 2L water Day32 - 2L water + nutes Big Bud is not looking good 😔 bottom yellow leaves and the upper leaves very pale.. growing very slow compared to the others. Same water and nutes for all of them, so i dont know whats the issue. ☹️

Mystery Made 2 already stopped showing male traits. I only plugged 3 or 4 there in total. Melonade Runtz on the other hand still is developing but I have the feeling that it is slowly getting better. All in all they look amazing and are growing very nicely. The trichomes are also developing great!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Due to all excitement about the first grow didn’t take any photo of the germination. Used 2x 0,5 water bottles and a wet paper towel for germination. All 6 of the seeds germinated in about 30h. Room temperature was 22 with 65% humidity. I didn't have enough coco for all 6 seeds so I put 3 seeds of amnesia into one bucket. On the 2nd day I found out that You should not pit Your lights on 95% in the first week 😳 Now it’s running on about 27%. At the moment I have only one marshydro ts1000. But I figured that for the first week it will do the trick. Hopefully the second one will arrive sometime next week. At day 3 my coco finally arrived and I could put the 2 couchsurfers into their own pots. Since they are small (about 3cm) they fell out of the soil...but due to them not having any proper roots I hope they wont stress out much about the transplant (although everybody warns about not transplantong autos) So at the end of the first week I must say it is not rocket science but I made some serious mistakes that wont happen next time. Will definetly add perlite next time and be extra carefull with germination.

Esta semana fue bastante positiva en el desarrollo de la planta,los riegos con un ph más bajo y la ec en valores óptimos, lograron mejorar un poco el color de las hojas.Tambien a los nutrientes que veníamos regando se le sumo el big bud, veremos que es lo que pasa en el transcurso de la siguiente semana. Creo que en términos generales la planta va creciendo saludable. 🤞🤞😅
