Earlier in the week, I saw a discolored bud, and upon closer inspection, I found bud rot. Ugh. I immediately cut off the infected bud and the one closest to it. I looked through the canopy but couldn't see any more affected buds. Right after, I went out of town for a few days to Mary Jane, the big Cannabis Conference in Berlin. It was the first one after legalization, and it was wild. I had an awesome time, and it was great to meet up with friends while in Berlin. What wasn't so great was seeing more signs of budrot when I returned home—those days of +85% humidity at the start of last week made the botrytis go brr. Sigh :( Checking the trichomes showed it was still early to harvest, but I decided to chop anyway to save the unaffected buds. I also decided to hang each branch separately, as it would allow me to inspect each one closely to ensure no affected buds made it into the drying tent. Another reason is to decrease the drying time. Usually, I prefer a long dry, but due to botrytis, I aim to speed up the process. Overall, I found 12-15 affected buds, and of course, they're always the nicest-looking buds. I don't care about the yield loss, as more than enough is still left. I only hope the remaining buds are unaffected, and I'll inspect them daily throughout the dry. Now we wait. And hope.

Week 26 11.10.2024

Orion F1 Liquid Nutrients: The seedling is looking fairly unhappy. I will keep an eye on it. The plant has been given its first dose of Mega Crop Part B to introduce some more nitrogen, hopefully she will begin to grow some more and start greening up. The plant was watered when the pot was dried, to avoid mould and root issues. 8.5.25: The plant was watered with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I added per litre; ♡ 1/4 TSP Mega Crop Part B ♡ 1ml Trace PPM: 656 PH: 6.0. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. V15, riego con pH 6.1 y EC 1.2, las plantas ya se han recuperado del stress de hace unos días atrás, desde el próximo riego el agua tendrá sus nutrientes completos. Se ajustó el LST en algunas plantas. V17, definitivamente ya se recuperaron del stress por sobre fertilización, están creciendo al ritmo esperado, con bien color y hojas "felices". V18, y bueno, de nuevo surge un imprevisto, intentando hacer LST a un tallo acabo de romperlo, le hice una especie de entablillado esperando que se recupere. Hoy toco riego con pH 6.2 y EC 1.5, las plantas crecen bien.

A lot of spreading this week. They basically doubled in size if not more and are now starting to grow up. Due to this incredible growth I've cut some leaves of the bottom; they've just gotten over grown by other leaves and the top to let more light in.

Runtz Punch has been still giving me issues with the spotting. So I neem oil treated her 4 days ago. It looks like it stopped or slowed down. With the nitrogen toxicity she has been showing I was kinda afraid to do it. It tends to boost the nitrogen when sprayed. I did look for pest under 100 x magnification. I didn't see anything. Regardless, hopefully it is resolved. I might just treat the whole room here to be safe then sorry mid flowering. Beside that everything is still growing and making progress. Big big week. First part of the week popped off a few bud sites. Hate to see them go since this is going to be a low yielder anyway. But I have a vision for it. As you can see in the photos. She started flowering mid week which was expected due to the very high stress and her being an auto. Also ROOT REVEAL. Yep you get a sneak peek at to what is below. I'm also working the soil and the roots to help dry them out and hopefully be strong enough to hold her up. The roots for all the way down so we "should" be good to go. Fingers crossed 🤞 Still just feeding water since I added soil to the sided for her to feed on. I have been doing a foliar spray with calmag in it.

Was a real pleasure from beginning to end, no problem during all the cycle for a good result for weight but an AMAZING result for taste 😍

Started off week 2 of flowering on 11/19. All of the ladies look good with the Tangerine Dream being the only set of clones to start showing bud sights and not just pre-flowering. Did a significant amount of clipping and clipped most of the fan leaves on the main colas of my ladies and side branches too. I also began playing classical music for them! True to it’s genetics my Tangerine Dreams are putting off numerous side branches with side branches coming off those branches! Since flowering my Cotton Candy has grown the most. Before flowering it was just barely half the height of my TDs and now they’re taller! As for the Chronic Thunder it’s always been the tallest but in flowering it’s focus has all been on the side branches without me even topping it.

So yeah here we in week 3 starting some LTS btw i’m growing on plagron terra grow some in not adding any nutrients yet i’m gonna use like more nutrients on my nexr grow but for the first time i took it all easy

Day 85 - Starting week 13 today and still no issues. Checked some trichs today and still quite a bit clear in there but quite a bit cloudy. Going to start flushing her for her next watering and looking at her, think she’s got about 2ish weeks left. Day 86 - All still on track for a chop in about two weeks. There’s less and less clear trichs but would like to get a good amount of amber before cutting so hopefully she’ll push them out in the next two weeks. Day 87 - Gave her 2 gallons of plain 6.5 pH’d water today to start flushing out the nutes. She’s almost all ccloudy now and hopefully start getting some amber in there in the next two weeks before chopping. Day 88 - All is going good still. Checked the trichs all over and it’s pretty much all milky and seeing a couple ambers in there. So it seems like about a week to two weeks left. Day 89 - No real update, she’s getting a bit more amber in her so almost thinking she’ll be ready to chop this weekend. Just gonna keep an eye on her and when the trichs are right, she’ll get the axe. Day 90 - Lots more amber are showing now so looks like it’ll be day 91 or 92 when I chop her. Will probably chop her on Friday but may end up doing it tomorrow. Not sure yet, depends on how I’m feeling and what she’s looking like tomorrow but definitely excited about getting her chopped, trimmed and start drying her. Day 91 - The end of week 13 and Letting the girl finish drying out today and will be chopping her tomorrow. She has some lower fluff bud but everything else is ready.
