Plants are doing well. Watering roughly once weekly continues to be the current schedule. In this week's watering (week 6, Thursday), a nutrient mix was added (19% Nitrogen, 5% Phosphate, 20% K2O). pH was measured (via the runoff/drainage water collected) on all three plants using a pH probe, of which was measured to be slightly acidic for all plants (exact pH numbers above in the photo descriptions). We are aiming for a pH range of 6.0-7.0, so in next week's watering, we will add a buffer solution to alkalize the soil. All three plants lower branches were also pruned.

Another week closer. It's almost time, with a week or two left, the girls leaves are starting to yellow up and the buds are turning rock hard.. Going to be a nice harvest. One thing that did happen is one of the Banana Puddings ...the big girl...we had some Bananas pop out, along with massive swelling of pistils..I'm not to worried its late in budding with only a couple of weeks left it shouldn't be a problem...Also Her buds are massive and what looked like some bananas was just swelled pistols that exploded with hairs...I don't know the reason why it happened i was not really pushing them and everything is in check...we did get a couple of hot days but not crazy hot..so hard to tell if it was some kind of stress or just a genetic mess up. *****Week 17 growth – March 27 to Apr 2, 2021 – Week 8 flower ****** We are in the first full week of flush now. Color change time and more swelling😃👍 This girl has been a little smaller in bud mass but she has certainly been looking like fire little dense nugs on her💪👍😃 The smells coming off are increasing and getting some pine or lemon notes as well as woody. Buds are really dense but the lowers are going to end up in extracts as she has grown tight in a way and it’s been a little tough getting some light down lower in her. The girls are drinking well with being watered almost everyday. Moving into the phase of letting the pots dry right out before adding more water to ensure they are finishing all the nutrients in the media. Again, really just keeping them watered when they want it and taking pictures at this point😎 Little more detail….. Mar 27/21, Day 50 - 4L plain water at 6.0pH - fade is starting but she just isn’t going to lighten up as much as I would like by the time we get to the end......all is good though. Mar 28/21, Day 51 - 4L watering today with RO water. - 30ppm and 6.1pH Mar 29/21, Day 52 - cold in the tent today so turned the heater back on to brin up to 77 degrees. It was holding at 74, a little low. - nothing watered. Mar 30/21, Day 53 - 4L watering with tap water at 5.8pH - leaf edges darkening and showing some fade😃 Mar 31/21, Day 54 - watered late in the day with only 3L of RO water - 25ppm and 6.1 pH Apr 1/21, Day 55 - dry out day Apr 2/21, Day 56 - light power reduced again and down to 300 watts. - plain water with tap. - 3L each 280ppm and 6.1pH Through week 8 and going into 9 now. Still some nutrient to keep working on in the leaves......give them a little more time💪👍

Welcome everyone Here is the diaries of a friend, this is his first culture. He chose for this session five Hulkberry from Royal Queen Seeds, a BubbleGum offered by Zamnesia, as well as a Big Bang Auto from GreenHouseSeeds. All these ladies are under HPS 600W, 150cm square area. Here we go!

Recovery ,recovery, recovery. Drowned them with nuts @1400 ppm. Hot for a hot soil mix. Soil mix was missing something different that 3 of the strains were needing. I dropped the bomb on them, defoliated the hell out of them and lst . Dark Devil no lst. Let the nutrients set 2 days and flushed with RO testing run off and ph. The plants that weren't showing to much signs of nutrient burn flushed with sledge hammer back to around 1200 ppm 6.5 ph. Plants with burn flushed back to 600 ppm wattered with dechlorinated tap at 7.0 ph. Finally the seeds man white widow and the gg#4 started into flower. The kera white widow and the critcle purp are loving the environment and nutes. May have to flush the Dark Devil a little more or full flush it. Still showing signs of nute burn. Over all happy with the grow. I definitely know what each strain likes and what they dont. I'm keeping a physical journal on each for future grows. Lessons learned: For a first indoor grow and a first auto grow, it would have been easier to select hybrids that were close in their sativa/indica ratio. Sativas are sensitive temperamental little girls. Get a dehumidifier so the room or tent can be contained with less co2 loss for summer. Ventless blue flame wall heaters work great in the winter for heating the room and creating plenty of co2. Running a test grow with 6 plants when your home only 40 hours then gone for 3 days is fun insanity.

Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. This was the first time using the LED panels, they have much better canopy penetration than HID. I started at 12 inches, the leaves showed signs of light stress. The lights were moved back 6-8". Fan leaf growth rate is averaging 1/4" a day. 18"H x 6"W.

Hello Diary, The fourth week of flowering is over and we are slowly heading towards the end. Last week I did defoliation, so now there is better air flow through the whole plant. The leaves took on a yellowish color, but the flowers were not affected. They are covered with trichomes that are now visible to the eye and have been given a beautiful dark purple color. The volume of the flowers themselves is smaller than that of her roommates Purple Punch, I hope it will fill up a bit. As you can see in the photos, the Watermelon has a nice shape, it just looks gorgeous to me. In one watering I added Biobizz and that was the last addition of nutrients for her. From now on just flushing. Conditions in the growbox are good, the temperature varies around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Now comes the stage when I start observing the development of trichomes through a microscope, it’s a special experience for me, like I’m looking at something from another planet. Here's a brief overview of the week: 11/03/2021 - Day 44. Watering. I didn’t add any nutrients, I just lowered p.H. water at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 36% humidity. 13/03/2021 - Day 46. Watering. p.H. I downgraded to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the current week. This will be the last addition of nutrients. From now on only clean water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26 degrees and 39% humidity. 16/03/2021 - Day 49. Well week 2 is here and gone. the dark devils are not as big as the red poisons but that doesn't mean much at the moment. we still got lots of weeks to go and the wicking buckets look like they are doing their job. I am going to let the dark devils dry out a bit before I refill the reservoir. to see if the water is too much for that strain as it is the first time growing it. so, looking good so far, they are healthy for now no signs of hunger just water when needed at this point and look for signs of lock out or feeding issues cheers ya'all,

I changed the reservoir and set the pH to around 5.3 and reduced the nutrients by 5ml/g. I just realized I've been adding far far fewer nutrients than I thought. I've been using 30ml in a 5 gal bucket (probably 4.5g volume) but I should be using 30ml/g so 4x as much. I'm going to leave it for now but I should probably start adding more nutrients. I took the wires I was using for LST off the bucket so it isn't stressed during flower and so it's easier to change the water. I'm taking off fan leaves that are blocking bud sites if I can't tuck them away. It grew a crazy amount today, so many little pistils came out. It's an exciting time. July 10 she thirsty. I added half a gallon of water and a full 30ml of each nutrient. That should bring us close to half the recommended nutes. I'll probably change the full res out and give 3/4 nutes sometime this week and go up to full strength next weekend if everything looks OK. https://www.remonutrients.com/calculator/ I just looked at my chart again and I think I was right the first time. I just added more nutrients for no reason. I added another half gallon of water and checked ppm and pH. Ppm is 1050, pH is 5.8. Gonna keep an eye on it through the day and see what happens. 305pm pH 5.8 ppm 1200 July 11 pH 5.8 ppm 1300. I'll add some plain water after the res goes down a bit more. Looks like the plant isn't using all the available nutes and is probably leaching some. She looks good though. Loads of vertical growth over the past week, now really going hard making bud sites. I'm going to see how this nute situation goes before doing any major defoliation or pruning. Leaf temp was 29 on the central cola so I turned up the fans and raised the light a bit. July 12 ppm down to 1200, pH still 5.8. Looks like it's going to be ok. July 13 ppm 1300 pH 6.2. I dropped an entire oscillating fan on my plant today. I broke 4 stems almost clean off. 3 appear to be surviving through duct tape and wire. The biggest one appears to be a casualty. I'm pissed. But the cabinet is coming together. Once it's perfect this kind of thing won't happen. I salvaged a piece of plywood yesterday and hand sawed the whole thing to fit as a door.

I defoliated the Plant for the first time and adjusted the LST to the growth of the plant. I found the first white pistils shooting out from the plant which shows me she is ready to go into flower. Until now i am very happy with the progress, still no issues :)

Plants took a few days to get stripped down. Missed the second week of flowering and stretching but oh well there is always next time. Very excited to see this canopy full of uniform buds its going to be a sight to behold haha.
