DAY 42 F: Another roasting week in the grow room. Temps have been hitting 37°c still and keeping them watered has been a battle. The water has been taken up instantly and they had built up a little too much nute in the soil. We have a major yellowing of 2 of the middle row plants ( mango x mimosa fast bud cream cookie) They are still building buds but you can see the effort is taking them without the green for photosynthesis. Hopefully they will be fixable over the coming days. The Banana mash are doing well and even with the heat issues , still bud building. They have shaggy looking buds at present but I am confident they will become more solid soon and swell more. They have a pungent banana hit now and they are so tacky to touch too. The mutant #4 has really spread put at the back of the middle row and is producing some nice looking buds too. Purple Monkey continue to make me drool when I handle them and the buds up close look so edible. With their sweet candy smell and pinky/reds , i cant wai to try these out. They are just pushing their second pistil flush so should swell nicely over the next week or so. The heat has not bothered these at all it seems and keeping them nice and areated to avoid mould being able to form has been this weeks task. All fed and watered for the day now . Going into week 9, seeing some frost on the leaves and the aroma is stronger and so nice. She looks great after the heavy defoliation last week, contrary to opinions from a few critics. Sometimes I like to find out for myself, I read many different viewpoints on defoliation and I decided to try. And it worked. Peace friends, happy growing! 🌱👍

She's a real beast. I started the flush this week by removing all nutrients from her watering. I just overwater her a little, and remove the access. Going forward, I will continue just giving her a good diet of plain water to remove some of the salts from the soil. She's a little too big to take outside to really flush her. I'm sure this will work out fine. I had to continue tying up some of her branches to keep them from falling over. She's looking good.

J’ai investi dans un système d’arrosage automatique Blumat avec 8 detecteurs Tropf. Fini l’arrosage, petite défoliation et c’est roue libre complète pendant un mois ! :) I invested in a Blumat watering system with 8 Tropf sensor. No more watering for me, one more defoliation and we’re set to go for the next month !

Welcome back everyone, As you can see are almost all seedlings growing. Some where still in the soil. Might happend when giving water(seedlings can turn or get deeper), checked it out and they are alive and well. All pictures are from day 4. The humidifier had been added, so I had to adjust the room. I spotted a corner of the room that gets dryer faster. I adjust the fan for now and see what happens. Corners are always hard to get perfect. Sometimes the light, air, watering doesn't come there properly. Seedlings don't need much nutrients, neighter do autoflowers. with normal soil I would recommend to only give water for 1-2 weeks, since it holds nutrients in it as well. But since I'm using Cocos for this grow, I might have to add some basic nutrients in the upcomming week. For this week I gave/give only water turns and Startbooster/rhyzotonic turns. Update day 5: - Lowerd the lights to avoid stretching, they are now at 75cm distance from lamp to pots. I want them at 40-50 cm, but I don't want to rush it. - Added another layer of cocos to avoid the soil from drying up therefore the roots from dying. This will happen because of lowering the lamps down, the soil will get exposed more to heat. As you can see, the humidifier is doing his thing haha. Pictures and videos where taken without the lights + fans on. because of that, it will look like this. Still fun thought. Arround 7 seeds didn't reach the surface yet, lets hope they make there way up soon. Enjoy!
