This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Rough week. Had a friend water for me while we were away. Didn't take my syringe watering seriously, fully saturated my little piggy and the roots are currently recovering from drowning... Is what it is, she'll recover. Already looking better than yesterday. Bud sites are still looking great, happy overall with the canopy still. Now to get her back to full health. Growing this popsicle cake definitely had its ups and downs. What started out looking like a dud of a seed turned out to be something pretty spectacular. Stacks the buds nicely to fill up the whole colas, super frosty, with an un godly stench of sweaty dirty socks. Still in the curing process but definitely has a heavy indica punch!

I started flushing her on day 51, the buds already look like they’re swelling more aggressively. She is also expressing some dark purple tones on the buds up top. I had an issue with her almost falling over on herself so I gave her some resistance towards the opposite side. A few more flushes and I’ll cut her down. Day 60- her purple tones have really been showing up, today they were very noticeable, still no sign of amber trichomes, the majority are cloudy though.

Since I'm not a neem at this stage I will inject more oil and the lady has already finished over half of her cycle, I will let her run like this and the newcomers will be treated again 👍. So I hope that at the next round all of them will finally be gone. I had the problem more than 5 years ago and it took a long time until everything was ok again and there was no animal left. Day 55 since planting out: Having messed my weeks up a little and now sorting them correctly, these ladies are on par with how I expect photoperiods to be developing so I feel in my comfort zone again. The Los has been an amazing medium for this strain it seems and she is huge. At present she is the biggest girl in the room and her 2 sisters look set to follow suit when given some more space next week. They look like they could go till mid january before their harvest which is a bonus as they will get 3 weeks under their own lights with a nice spread out to hit all those bud sites with full par for their finish. #2 Has the potential for hugeness too but being cramped in at present is keeping her growing. #3 is plodding along waiting for her neighbours to move out so she can steal their sun lounger spot the minute they leave for harvest. They are all starting to smell nice and sweet at the slightest disturbing of their buds and I cannot wait to sample this much respected strain for myself.

Another week passes and it's official.I will never ever know what strain this is smh .. i feel like she has a few weeks at minimum left so I gave her some green sensation in hopes of helping her bulk up .. hope everyone is doing well.God bless and happy growing ✌️

Die Pflanze beginnt jetzt in die Blüte zu gehen, daher habe ich Sie heute komplett entlaubt, damit alle kommenden Buds genug Licht bekommen. Die Pflanze mag zu vorher zwar sehr dünn aussehen, aber wird sich nach 1- 2 Tagen erholen und umso besser wachsen. Ich habe nach dem 70% zu 30% Prinzip auch alle unteren Blätter entfernt, sie bekommen grundsätzlich nicht genug Licht und lohnen sich daher kaum zu behalten. Wenn man sieht das viele Triebe aufeinander liegen und dadurch Feuchtigkeit entsteht sollte man den schwächeren der Beiden entfernen, da es zu Schimmel während der Bud Entwicklung kommen kann. Je früher desto besser da es sich nur um verschwendete Energie handelt wenn man Sie später eh entfernen muss.
