🌸 Week 4 Flower Report: Growth, Challenges & Big Changes! 🌸 Hey, Grow Diaries Fam! ✨ We’re here at Week 4 of Flower, and what a week it’s been—packed with challenges, adjustments, and exciting progress! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. Bueno empiezo la 3 semanas día 15, con un unos LEDs rojos que me regalaron marshydro al comprar el fc800 evo , creo que se llama así 😝 es una auténtica bestia, ya no me imagino que pueden hacer los leds rojos, en teoría la luz roja aparte de hacer madurar los frutos, engordar y dar sabor, también ayuda a hacer crecer a los nuevos tallos que están más abajo y reciben menos luz, la luz roja profunda les da energía a esos brotes para que crezcan y busquen la luz blanca... Total.. quiero ver si crecen las ramas que están escondidas... También he añadido CO2 , cada segundo dos burbujas.. no quiero pasarme, porque tanto echar magnesio, me a dado un poco de exceso, lo he corregido echando más agua al depósito, y con la ayuda de CO2 hará que coman más las plantas, y corregiré antes el exceso de magnesio, en teoría jejeejje😅😅 todo en teoría

Pictures are the day before harvesting. They were flushed for 2 weeks. Plants are dark purple in color and a very fruity unique smell. Ill harvest and have numbers shortly.

I love this lady. She smells insane. It won't be long till there's more room is the tent for her to spread out some. Will likely tie her up at that point. She is just huge. A little while to go for her yet. It can't come quick enough.

Only 1 plant harvested, the other is a few weeks behind and is in much better health. Chopped one on day 77 and I'll let the other go until like day 82-85. I will also prob create a better song for this strain. I was on a time constraint.

Still going through flowering. She has stayed short and stocky throughout since week 3/4 actually. About that time I remember watering her with nutrients that must have been too acidic. I'm pretty sure I omitted add ph up. 😭 The damage was done, growth all but stopped. As she is an auto flower there is no time to 'save' her and grow a big plant, so we will go to the end with what we've got.

My Ladies are really thirsty. I was not at home for four Days and give them 5 Liters per Plant. When i came home they looks like they want dying Buds was so fat now that they hang down on some Stems. So i decided to use the Scrog Net They are getting frosty but Trichomes are just clear

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

Week 8 of flowering, Biscotti mints 2 looks more close to the end than Biscotti mints 1. Both very frosty, smelling really good. It’s been 1 week since I flushed them 😍 Looking at the trichomes they are close to the stage I like(around 20-30% amber) so I will harvest them.. probably 1 more week. Overall really happy with what I am seeing 🤩 can’t wait to smoke it 🤪
