Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. It's like she already knows it's flowering time. Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

Totally forgot to change the status to flowering haha. 8 weeks in, i see some cloudy trichomes but hope that they will grow a few weeks more for a thicc harvest!

Week 2 day 1 plant is just happy but I would love to see some faster vegging. Day 2 Fan adjustment today, felt like the plant was getting little windburn ( slight curling on the edge and dry/rough leaves) Day 3 Added Horn- Bonemeal mix as Top dress today. It’s really fine grained so I hope this is going to help out with N + P in flower stage Day 4 Plant still not ramping up. My guess is the roots are not developed well enough to get to the edge of the pot where the majority of the pre fertilized soil is at Day 5 Drained the whole pot with 1l rainwater and tested run off water. It’s at 6.3ph. Hopefully the plant can reach all the nutrients now. I will add compost tea in about 3weeks. I need to wait for the compost to finish first at least partly. Next grow will be better for sure when I’m more prepared. Day 7 LST

Finally got myself a dehumidifier, now i can controll the humidity in my room because it often went above 60% 🤷‍♂️🏻 Also love how the big northern light is really packing some weight! & the buds on the bottom look as good as the ones more on top!! Can’t wait till i can harvest all of em😁

Will need to teat them and kill em all off if possible. The thrips are also outdoors on some of my plants, I feel they came from the bagged promix I got or they overwintered and travelled indoors. Light was a bit to strong at 100% when i grew taller, turned it down to 80%ish now till it starts to blooms. currently at 45cm hang height, Tent is having some issues with cooling down, even running the extractor is not doing much, so I prop the door open at the top and it helps vent it out. Maybe because of the vents the air is not circulating though and just travelling up one side of the tent, IDK. its a waste to run it past setting 5 on a 2x2 so the door will stay propped indefinitely. Still no smells unless I'm rubbing them, no signs of flower just yet, temped to top or LST but I think I'm going to let them go as is and get a good gauge on how they grow and yield. 🌿 Grow Diary Update: Week 5 Check-In 🌿 Hey growers, Can you believe it's Week 5 already? Time's flying, and so is our girl – she's a beast now! I've been itching to defoliate more, but I've maxed out the amount of defol i can do and i have now stopped completely to avoid stressing her out too much :/ Overall, she's looking happy, but I noticed some leaves getting darker than I'd like, so I dialed down the nitrogen a bit... Remember my PPMS struggle? Well, good news – got them down to 1200ppm but could not get it any lower.. i could lower the ppm/ec of intake even more to hopefully drop it but in this stage of flower feeding lower than 800ppms is too low unless you need to flush to reset the medium so i am just gonna keep sticking to the 800ppm feed for now and measure run off each time hopefully i can get it around 900-1000, yes these high ppm/ec levels are fine for cannabis but mostly when your using co2 thats like 700ppm+ but at the end of the day SHE LOOKS GREAT! Here's to another week of growth and learning! Week 12 everything looking good ...still no fade in the leaves been flushing for like 12 13 days now ...I think I put too much dry amendment's in my soil ...but it cool just ran like 20 liters or more off water tru my 5 gallon pot untill I seen the ppm get real low ..so should be good now ..gonna leave in dark for 24 to 72 hours when they dry up a bit.....as I said this was my first grow I learned alot from it ...can wait for the rest ..I'll keep u updated on the weight the smoke everything...once chopped..

Another amazing week with these beauties I am still feeding the same monkey nutrients couple seem to be burning through the feed quicker so I have upped the doses back to the full doses as I had dropped them slightly previously but they are so sticky 🙏🙏 so I am trying to ensure the air circulation stays constant and the humidity stays at around 42 with the increased temperatures we have had here in the UK I have turned my extraction fan up to near jet engine status 😂😂 thankfully its not really any louder than a fan so it's not been to bad and the carbon filter is doing a really good job at keeping the danky smell in the tent personally I love the smell not sure the neighbours would so much 🤣😳 in inlet fan and circulation fans are working hard but managing to keep temps from going above 29 there was one day I set Zues pro at 75% just to help temps drop The buds are really starting to get heavy now and there is literally no room left for anymore the highest tips are probably 4f 8 the tent is only 6ft 6 so the Zues pro 600 is as high as it can go now so thank goodness the home stretch is not that far away now. So I am really talking to them lots giving them lots of love and attention and preying these beauties continue to do there thing and grow there buds nice and fat with no issues 🙏👌 Thank you for reading stay blessed 💚

1/26: -Lemon auto: I was THIS close to doing a partial harvest today. I'm opting to wait a couple more days, and then reassess. The trichomes somehow look less cloudy, but I'm unsure if that's related to the light on my microscope? Buds are looking delightful, smell keeps getting better. Overall, super impressed with this freebie seed. -Northern light: still doing it's thing. My overall expectations are low for this plant. Honestly, it's my 4th attempt growing this particular strain.. and I've likely done everything wrong. However, my other plant has giving me a newfound confidence. I will figure out this plants love language, even if it takes me several more grows 😂 1/29: -Lemon auto: harvested! I opted to keep a fair amount of stem since she looked a little dry and I didnt want to expedite the drying process. Will update weight before I put in jars to cure. -Northern lights: Bushiness got out of control again so I did a fairly heavy defoliation. Buds are fattening up slowly, but they overall seem like they're going to be thin and possibly somewhat airy. Remaining cautiously optimistic.
