Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. The two surviving Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants develop well after they were planted in soil. The first pot is very small (0,25 l) and only a little watering is necessary now. As you can see in the pics the roots grow VERY WELL with the Voodoo Juice from Advanced Nutrients.

Just continue to use canna nutritions and seems like biobizz all mix and canna have a lot of leaf growth other than light mix soil but all growing nicely some leafs yellowing at the bottom but might be light issues its only 2x 150w ts1000 and cant penetrat through the top leaves Ph 6.2-6.5 Ppm 1100 Humidity during rainy days 70% dry days 60% Temps not going over 26 and below 17

Shit got out of control, i had to perform an LST to keep the big sister under control and she is the biggest plant I’ve ever grown although She is developing buds everywhere and im not really sure but for me this is bad as i think sometimes less is more, its clear that the plant just can’t distribute the same nutrients on 10 buds/20buds, so i expect them to be soft and not potent, maybe THAT xxl pheno, im sure someone else could have get even more, shame that I can’t clone her Little sister is looking so nice tho, Perfect structure, just amazing looking and beautiful to its maximum

So the story continues... this grow is really an experiment for me to train one plant within my 4'x2' grow space to ScrOG vertically and use the SP250 light on its side. For the majority of the vegetative stage the light will be hung normally above the plant until a week prior to flipping the light schedule and initiating flowering. The plant passed its seedling stage and has been vigorously growing albeit showing strong signs of over-watering and calcium deficiencies. It's really a transpiration issue which I have not solved yet. Increased distance to light as the plant may be growing too fast for its root mass. From feedback at Coco for Cannabis (CFC), it is a Cal deficiency and a young plant getting used to the grow in coco - quite common and not a sign of over-watering. Measuring run-off EC at each fertigation event as I increase the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is now maintained at twice a day (at lights on and 4hrs prior to lights off period) to maintain the target EC. Ende Woche 10 der Strain von Fastbuds ist echt einer der besten den ich je hatte der Wachstum die Potenz und die Robustheit der Pflanzen sind einfach super 💪💪💪💪💪

Week 3: The main stem has been successfully guided to the edge of the pot, and the plant is now focusing on developing multiple strong side branches. Growth remains healthy and steady, with early preflowers showing and the structure opening up nicely for an even canopy.

Finally after 82 days the trichomes looked just as I like them so I sent her into 3 days of darkness before I cut her. She's now hanging in the tent and drying in between 17...18°C / 62...64°F and 55% RH. The climate outside is just perfect at the moment so I can keep the temperatures in my grow room low, simply by keeping the window slightly open. I think a little bit more than a week will do - I'll keep you updated ;-)

2/6: Amnesia 3 is just about 6 inches tall now. Trainwreck is only a couple inches behind. Still keeping the temps between 73-82 and the humidity in the mid to low 70s. After thoroughly watering the very healthy, young tomato plant that coesxists in the tent, the tips of some of the leaves turned yellow. That makes me wonder if soaking the soil for the first time since transplant caused a bit of nutrient burn. I'm going to avoid any nutrients the first time I water Amnesia 3 and Trainwreck fully, to avoid the same potential issue. They're not looking too thirsty yet though. 2/8: Amnesia 3 is tall enough and has a thick enough main stem to start slowly low stress training with a rubber coated gardening wire. I pre-drilled holes in my buckets for this occasion, and the wire fits well. Each day for the next week I'll gently pull the wire to slowly bend the main stem downwards, similar to how braces work on teeth: a long, slow procedure. 2/9: Woke up to Trainwreck's leaf tips pointing downwards, so I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it its first watering. I siphoned up a bit of the runoff water, and it came back at a PH of 4! That's not good; however, after researching a bit, it's likely that I could have siphoned up a pocket of low PH nutrient-filled water, making my reading way off in terms of the PH of the whole slurry of runoff. If the leaves don't bounce back, I'm going to take that as a potential sign of Nitrogen toxicity and will monitor more closely. Will probably make plans for a flush if it progresses any worse than downward leaves. Nitrogen toxicity can cause fragile, dark green leaves that point down in a shape similar to a claw, among other symptoms. 2/12: Watered Amnesia 3 for the first time since transplant. Getting taller and less bushy in some spots, so I may turn up the lights from 60 to 75% tomorrow, to see if I can increase some more growth. But before, I want to make sure this watering doesn't cause any nute burn from the soil.

Very easy strain to grow that’s has little to no stretch from transition from veg to flower. Fairly quick flowering time. Super fat, dense buds. Real unique tasting strain as I can’t pin point an exact flavour. Good all round strain. If you grow her you’ll need to veg her to the final size you want her at. Loads of purple in my pheno, which is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Both Phenotypes responding very well to training. Vanilla Latte Showing Pre Flowers on Day 31 I'm using diatomaceous earth as a silica ammendment at 1/4 cup w/ water per week, it is excessive but imprpves soil water retention and stem growth has significantly improved 72 hours after application. Vanilla latte lost 4 inches off the main cola. Snapped while training and it's first week of flower. Hopefully it's not to stunted. 🤷‍♂️

Into Week 8 now and really filling out. A good solid healthy outdoor plant with little to no extra care or intervention so far, really happy with it and excited to see how it finishes out. Scratched in some Coast of Maine Fish Bone Meal toward the end of the week and then lightly watered in for a little feed.
