A serious defoliation. We removed large fan leaves that were shading critical bud sites, allowing light to pour in and airflow to circulate. This isn’t just pruning — it’s breathing room. It’s strategy. It’s sculpting the future. She’s expressing herself now some funky leaf formations, even buds forming in the leaf base itself, a unique phenotype with personality. This is what makes each grow magical. Why defoliation now? • Week 4 is the sweet spot: flowers are forming, stretch is slowing, and now’s the time to open up the canopy without stressing her too much. • It increases light penetration and reduces risk of mold or pests by improving airflow. • It directs energy to the buds, not the blocked, lower leaves. AlienZ Automatic - Greenhouse Seed Co. Day 75 - watered with 2L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She's not bulking as much as I had hoped, so I've increased the Bio Heaven and Acti-Vera to boost her metabolism a bit 👌🏻 She's quite bushy, so I've removed a few fan leaves with a goal to improve light penetration and airflow 👍🏻 She's getting close to harvest now, so probably from next week I will start to reduce the nutrients in her feed, but for now I'm just going to let her grow 💪🏻

Semana 6 Floración. Día 78(21/09): Hoy regué con Monster bloom, la veo muy bien, muy contenta y con ganas de empezar a engordar! Día 79(22/09): Ya empezamos el engorde, no veo mas cálices nuevos, así que esperamos la mejor parte de este hermoso y largo viaje. Que digo, estamos a mitad de camino!!, no quisiera cortarla mas, mi chiquita.

Week 7 began! She’s gaining in bud size and smalls already crazy good. Until now I’m really happy with the genetic. She’s doing great and never had the feeling that she couldn’t take the stress. I mean the pod is only 5liters(1.3gallons) large and the conditions are not the best. Great genetic so far.

Let’s go day 43!!!! Week went real well , girls started preflower so sometime this week I will be switching up the nutrients for flowering! We are stable and looking super healthy! Can’t wait to see what these ladies do this week! Hope you all enjoy !

The Red Pure develops extremely quickly. I have therefore not been able to keep up with the fertilisation scheme in time to switch to the flowering fertiliser and also adjust the CalMag ratio. You can recognise a slight lack of potassium and magnesium. Nevertheless, it continues to develop very well and you can see how the flowers and leaves are slowly turning purple.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. OK. Last look at these plants before harvest. Thought I might harvest this week till I saw the weather forecast. it was 32*c here yesterday and about the same today. It gets about 4* to 6* degrees hotter in the greenhouse and was 35*c in there when I was taking pics today. Over the next 10 days or so it will be much cooler here, so I'll start harvest on Sun. It should take me 6 to 7 days to finish , and those will be long days too. Just stopping for food, smoking and life's small emergences. OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Lots of pistils coming out. It looks like kind of a mix of its parent strains, which makes sense. I was going to do some final defoliation this week, but the colas are all pretty well spaced out and they're growing so fast you can practically see it with the naked eye. Idk if the added stress from further defoliating the bottom will be worthwhile right now. Dec 26. I went ahead with the defoliation. This always happens, it's just scary to cut pieces off your beautiful babies when they're thriving. But this is the perfect time to do it, when they're healthy and growing strong. Whether or not it helps yield, it will still help with airflow and most importantly, it will allow me to see into the plant to catch any problems before its too late. Several of the leaves I took off were yellowing already. It was hard to take the healthy ones that had been there a long time, but it's for the best. I didn't go overboard, and I can see a lot more of the bud sites now. Things are looking great. I can't get good lighting for photos unfortunately.

Hello Growmies, As the seventh week of cultivation unfolds, our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids are dazzling in their mid-flowering stage, carrying a symphony of scents that entice the senses. Residing alongside their Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding counterparts, these plants are halfway through their flowering journey, with an anticipated five more weeks to reach full maturation. The Watermelon Candy specimens, exhibiting their genetic prowess, have embraced the halfway mark with a robust vigor, their canopies dense and vibrant. The sweet fragrance wafting from their flowering sites is indicative of the quality to come. With dense trichome production already visible, the promise of potent, flavorful buds is on the horizon. Plant #1 stands out with its substantial vertical growth and impressive bud structure, clearly benefiting from the steady environmental conditions provided by the Tent-X system. Plant #2, while slightly more subdued, showcases a well-balanced structure, promising a generous yield. Plant #3's wide-reaching canopy is a sight to behold, with each branch heavily laden with budding sites. This week's feeding schedule has been adjusted to a five-day interval, ensuring our plants receive the nutrients they need without overburdening them. It is day 30 and we are finally seeing some growth starting after a few days of being locked out due to what I believe is from nutrient burn. Won’t go as heavy next top dress. I have ordered a soil ph pen which will be arriving tomorrow so that I can’t test my soil ph and the run off. Until then I have ph'd the water to 6.0 to hopefully stimulate more growth before flower. These plants are very short but stacked! I can’t wait to see how big they are at pre flower. After it’s 3rd week stretch. Reach for the skies bitches! Watering less aswell. I believe iam overwatering because I go days without seeing these girls. Exhale c02 bag doing well. Resembles mould at the moment. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s visited my diary. There was no where to put them no matter how slow I tried haha. Also have each girl in something that resembles the cross face chicken wing from the WWE. Little fan on fan action. It’s like the leaves were meant to stuck together. The knotches in the leaves interlock I mean. I stretch the upper fan leaf to the one directly below it. Opening up both shoots. Hope they made sense lmao.

FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This week it was watered 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. Bonjour a tous et toutes j ai enfin trouver le temp et la force de sortir les petites de la tante ;) et j ai malheureusement vue que 2 tête de ma melon gum commencer à avoir un peut de bud rot (je n ai pourtant jamais dépasser les 50% d humidité mais j doit dire que les têtes on triplé de volume en 1 semaine et pour la circulation de l air pas top ) j ai donc coupé tous cela et désinfecté aussi bien que je le pouvais, par la suite j ai augmenté l apport en air frais (rajout d 1 gros ventilateur) Autrement tous ce passe pour le mieux fin de semaine on passe au flusch 😉 voilà voilà (Ps= 2 plantes n ont pas été sortie je ne veut pas risquer quel casse vue la hauteur et le poids en bud mais promis vous les verrais bientôt
