Started the seeds by soaking in Distilled water for 12 hours. After that, directly into the soil which is a Promix HP and Worm Castings mix. Seeds we’re planted on different days as I discovered the others I had started weren’t going anywhere… First seed Day 1 was Jan 8, the Second and Third seed sprouted Jan 12. Keeping the RH as high as it can be, and temps consistent with a 24 hour light cycle. Misting the plant with distilled water very sparingly, trying not to overwater and let the humidity keep the plant going. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Oh my goodness - STICKY ICKY!!! Gassy sweet citrusy on the nose — just a gentle touch leaves fingers sticky and smelly as if you just opened an orange peel dunked in gas This plant is a true winner this cycle. Responded to my training and all the classic noobie stressor I threw at it including overall growing it in just a 5 gallon pot. Thanks for checking my grow out!! Performed the "back building" technique this week to help bulk up the top cola. Watering the soil when dry, and defoliating the dry-dying fan leaves.

We started the week by transplanting the Orange Groovy F1 into the 3.6L pots filled with our SWA super-soil: we waited a bit more compared to the first 8 transplants just to make sure the roots were strong enough. At the same time we realized that the Orange Groovy F2 was the first plant ready for topping. This week we continued using our Lumatek dimming it at 60%. We are watering them with 1L divided by all 9 of them of osmosis water. On days 16 and 17 we topped every plant (except for Golden Pussies which still need a couple days and the Orange groovy F1 which we will not top because of her smaller size). We noticed that most of our plants presented lightly yellowed tips. We think that this is due to the deficiency of some immobile elements such as Ca, Fe, S. To solve this problem, we will put some decanted water (because it doesn't contain Chlorine which kills our bacterial substrate life) to give them the correct nutrients. We failed topping Orange Groovy F2 because the central apical started to grow even after cutting it but we kept it just to see what is going to happen. Golden Pussy F2 has been topped too and it went perfectly as you can see in the pictures. The plants continue to grow out of all proportion!

Reaching peak flower now so added PK into the mix for extra Potassium and Phosphorous over the next 10 days or so. Never had plants soak up this much nutrients without any burn (touch wood) so I'm really impressed with the Vitalink range. Theis plant is at the front right of the tent, and to the left of the screen in the timelapse. Defoliated for the last time at the beginning of this week.

Endlich geerntet. Trotz einiger Mängel sind die Buds doch sehr schön fest und klebrig geworden. 220g Nass mit Stiel und Stängeln. Einfach im Zelt bei ca 62%LF trocknen lassen. Nach ca 5 Tagen, werde ich mir die schönsten Buds heraussuchen und weiter im Dryferm Bag bis zum Curing weitertrocknen lassen. Der Rest fällt dann leider dem CanG zum Opfer und wird im Misthaufen entsorgt.

Esa familia, otra cosecha más, no tan contento esta vez la variedad en si está buena pero su cultivo es algo complicado y no está estabilizada la genética, los días de floración son más de 55 días como dice el banco,más de 3 meses de floración con estos ejemplares... Pero mereció la pena esperar el colocón es bastante fuerte, para mi que , sativa dominante a mi parecer, 24% de thc , cruzada entre cookies x OG Kush , muy productora en general. Así esto es todo , pronto más trabajos, buenos humos familia.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Ernte Die Pflanze wurde kurz nach der neunten Blütewoche geerntet, etwa drei Tage später, als die meisten Trichome milchig waren und vereinzelt schon bernsteinfarbene zu sehen waren. Ziel war ein eher euphorisches, klares High – und das wurde auch erreicht. Die Trocknung lief über etwa zehn Tage bei Temperaturen zwischen 15 und 21 °C und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von rund 55 bis 62 %. Die Bedingungen waren stabil, und die Buds konnten langsam und schonend trocknen. Nach dem Trocknen wurden die Blüten manikürt und anschließend in Gläser mit Feuchtigkeitspacks gelegt, um das Curing zu starten. Die Buds waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt sehr klebrig, harzig und haben stark geglitzert, mit einem intensiven, süß-zitronigen Geruch.
