A lo que se suma altas temperaturas en mi zona, han tenido 28 ºC durante las horas de luz... Las hojas inferiores se encuentran caidas y alguna quebradiza... Le hago un riego con 750 ml H2O EC 0,45 a ver si se recuperan.... Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Day 54-64 (June 14th-24th) (Day 55) I got a good look at all of the plants in the dark and all of them are quite faded out except for black garlic and the blueberries. Running multiple different strains that all feed differently would be a nightmare on a larger scale! (Day 56) Everything is looking on point and happy. Plants are drinking about a liter of water every 36 hours. (Day 59) Jack Herer #1 has some of the most wild looking foxtails I’ve ever seen. Not a very desirable trait but it’s cool to grow. It’s smell is pure bliss, it’s now matured to a mango funk. I will do a more in depth look at each strain after dry. Jack #2 is starting to pop fresh nanners. I think it is from stress due to lack of nutrients and/or heat stress from where it is in the tent. Both jacks are feeding really hard I’ve noticed. If these bananas get any worse I will just harvest early. Blueberry #1 is developing miniature seeds in its calyx’s and is starting to foxtail like crazy. It almost looks like it’s reveging. Earlier in the season I pulled off an entire bud that was covered in developing seeds but I couldn’t find anymore after that. I will likely find a few bag seeds in this pheno and Jack #2. Blueberry #2 is still terpless and frostless but it’s really starting to fill into it’s structure now. It’s getting impressively dense but that all it has going for it. This one needs to go 65-70 days at least. BAOGC #1 is so beefed up and chunky I love it. The main cola will be a good 6 grams and the lowers are thick gram nugs too. I will let this one go until day 65 BAOGC #2 is much smaller but a super hard feeder. It was one of the first to start yellowing. This pheno is pretty average in my opinion. It stacks a little tighter but has small buds TWOG #1 has this strange velvety look to it’s frost, something I’ve never really seen before. Although it’s a little on the leafy side. It filled out super early and is ready to harvest now. Both are fading out with black streaks on the leaves. TWOG #2 checks every box for quality so far. This might be the perfect strain and I’m sad I didn’t get a clone of it. The only thing wrong with it is the long trichome stalks and lack of resin heads. It is also an early finisher. I will probably take both TWOGs down on the 21st. Black garlic is just mouthwatering. This plant literally looks wet with resin. It was super airy at first but slowly filled out to the point it’s one of the denser plants in the tent. Cant wait to smoke this stuff. (Day 63) Well, every plant in here is looking done except the jacks and blueberry #2. Since I’m harvesting my other tent tomorrow I might as well give everything the chop before I risk bagseeds. I’m going to give a final watering right now and harvest tomorrow. I’m going to be drying in my flower tent kept between 60-65F and 60-65% RH. I will do a full plant hang to extend the dry time for as long as possible. Guess that’s a wrap then. I will give a detailed breakdown of my errors and final thoughts on the run next week after the dry is completely done. ✌️

Seeds were placed in a glass of warm water for 72hrs in a dark room. Thursday’s seem to be the lucky day for planting. I placed all three seeds in loose soil… sprout loading.🌱

Coming up to the finish line of my first grow in a year. Took awhile to dial everything in. From new tent to new light to 3 gallon pots vs 5 gallon had a lot of variables to overcome. Definitely not chunking out like my previous runs in 5 gallon pots, not sure if my recipe wasn’t strong enough or if I could have top dressed more often. But quality is fire and spells are delicious. Watched a video where a guy hates topping so I tried not topping and not a fan. I do like the main stem but it makes light height and power to hard to manage. Next run going back to topping and training from week 2. These girls were just so purdy in veg I didn’t want to touch them but in the long run I needed more training.

Got everything moved around & the new carbon filter, fans & lights so hopefully I got better coverage with less power👍🏼 Topped 1 of the Gelato OGs today was getting way taller than the rest we will see how she bounces back! Everything else seems to be going great! Day 22 topped & trimmed them up a bit Day 23 started LST on a few Day 24 started mainline on one of the GZ Day 25 trimmed them a little more today

My biggest harvest yet, 385g dry oh my god. Never thought hydro could yield sp much so fast. And fastbuds genetics helping me achieve that. The strain is so potent we smoked a joint 4 people and had to put it out bwcause everyone got so stoned. Wonderful. But curing now so im looking forward to those terpz and maybe a little else you never know what surprises beholds. Hsy out!
