End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. Maybe 6+ nodal cola. Shining, fuzzy, glistening trichomes stretching out across the fan leaves. Top Dressed with 2Tsp of Bloom, 1tsp of Microbe Charge, and 1Tsp Bloom Booster. Ive also been trying a new method for the top dressing efficacy. I got the idea while watching build a soil using the earth box. I have started covering the soil with some aluminum foil to kind of act as a cover so the feeder roots will come up to where the top dressing is. which seems to be working fairly well and simply. 4/6/25 She is producing super nicely so far. Seems to be thinner, longer buds. But i can visibly see the buds forming calyxes underneath the pistils. Very bulbous and full calyx stacking 4/7/25 the buds are starting to pack on some weight. everything looks happy and

Weekly update on these wonderful girls. They've progressed beautifully, especially considering the day time temps have been in the mid 90's. Not seeing any signs of deficiencies and spraying once a week of either Athena's IPM and stack or PureCrop1 for pest management. So far since being transplanted they've only been fed well water. I'll probably start some Grow A & B nutes and calmag this week. All in all Happy Growing

I’ll update ya’ll on the smells and tastes after drying and curing! So far both are packed with ice and smell very potent, a little overpowering still, so I want to give it some time before they’re cures and can show their true terpene profile!

And now today we are at 15 days cure. And its time to smoke and do a report

8 week We have 12 strong plants and one skinny one. They start drinking more then 1.5 l with one application of water. Smells really sweetly and fruity. I really love it!

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days.
