I learned a lot this grow. The plant survived which lends to its resilience. It smells mostly skunky with some hints of rubber. Mistakes: 1. Overwatered seedlings 2. Ran unfamiliar nutes 3. Ran an unfamiliar feed method (fertigated instead of top dressed) 4. Gardened based on web description instead of what the plants were communicating to me. 5. Got a seed Successes: 1. They didn't die! 2. Got climate dialed in well 3. No fungus gnats or other pests! 4. Got 2oz total of good dry bud!

I’ve been so preoccupied with this plants beauty... that I haven’t cared to update. But here she is! Really proud of this first ever grow thus far. She drinks a gallon of water a day. Insane. so many white hairs.

Son plantas con forma indica y follaje sativa, floración rápida unas semanas más y ya están listas para cortar. Ph controlado, 7 semana prepárate lavado raíces y solo agua, que lo agradecerán.

Week6 today an not impressed but there’s still time, slightly over fed but pushed back on EC to 1.7 run off 1.8 Ph 5.8 run off 6 VPD close to in range just waiting for the new dehumidifier to turn up today. There a little behind but I’m guessing they will catch up 3 weeks to go. Smelling strong really strong for the stage there at. I do see the benefits to day 21 heavy fan leave strip. But never done it at day 42. What’s people’s thoughts around day 42 fan leave strip? I know there’s a lot of nitrogen stored in them fan leaves as I pushed the EC. Now I’m thinking to strip for better penetration and lower the stored nitrogen to help the finish better.. Hit me up with advice around day 42 strip Cheers ok

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Hope you had a great week because these ladies sure have! 😍 They're starting to get that sweet aroma this strain gives off, her aroma will be over powering my tent in full flower. Love it! Pictures and info were taken on day 12 of flower. I put 71cm tall because that's the average between the three girls. CC 1: 78cm CC 2: 68cm CC 3: 68cm CC 1 is killing it with the double main colas. 💪 💪 🤩 CC2 is my favorite. She's got a perfect shape, nice evenly distributed canopy. Took LST great. For me that's the goal when I do LST. CC3 doesn't fall behind in any way, she's looking great. There's a bunch of new growth everywhere so after 21 days i'll be doing some pretty heavy selective defoliation. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. They've got a lovely green lush color. It's a delight growing this strain. I'll have to get me some more seeds for next run because this is a strain that will always have a spot in my garden. 😍 😍 Hope you enjoyed this week's update and stay tuned for next week. 12/10 Week 11 Wow last week on Layla so bread and water hold the carbs for her now on. Doubt if Maggie will be finished but may be forced to move her on anyway, we will see. I would hate that Gotta decide soon on feeding her as they will need water tomorrow 12/11 Its decided Maggie will be allowed to finish off and I will find a way to keep em all happy. Something special may be happening there, want to see it. Layla though is about done just some ripening and then harvest. one gal each @6.4, Layla just water, Maggie got the PK boost 12/ml but remember there is a good bit of Dr. Earth still in the pot so cant really starve em. Update Ok here is the plan. Another grow in veg has yet to get into flower which is great though its due just any day, feeding it some bloom nuets in the mix to keep it in veg... we hope. But when it goes into flowering stretch at least one needs to rotate into the flower tent so harvest Layla, one may remain in the small tent till Maggie goes. Best I can do 12/13 Some camera time with lights on just getting used to it. Canopy looks great guys considering whats in there LOL 12/14 Just pics and we have decided to let these go as long as they want as the other grow is happy where it is for now. After looking close there are still some clear tricones on both so waiting is it 12/16 Maggie's buds have gotten so heavy I had to make a quick trellis out of 3 ft stakes and twine to support them and give the rest of the tent room. Pics above She has come a long way from a sick little plant err guys? Seriously thinking of dropping Brandy from the grow totals, she was just so stunted just one of Laylas buds is going to out produce her.

Dosido was a fun plant to grow. Short stock indica dominant plant. It finished in late September and was susceptible to mold and bud rot. Lost a number of colas to rot, approximately 100gs dry. Very potent strain with unique terp profile. I did get a few seeds in it. I didn't spot any naner but I have germinated a few of the seeds, all female so I am assuming it self pollinated. I would recommend growing this strain but be extra cautious outdoors.

Really seeing a lot of strong growth out of Jehovas witness. This plant is going to be huge. Can’t wait to run this lady outside in full sunlight. Really feeling like if I had the space each of these ladies would be massive easily pushing the 1lb potential yield envelope to its max the golden gun are different. Started out strong but have since slowed up and the one that was slow is exploding. Really feel like I did these a disservice by not waiting for warmer weather outside.

This week was a bit of a struggle. Plant was moved to 5 gallon container and into a tent. It took me a few days to get the humidity under control but all is well now that I've got a little better ventilation. The only thing I'm very concerned with now is bringing the ph down to a 6.5 -7. I'm going to use distilled water instead of nutrient mix for the next week and likely will heavily dilute the nutrient mix before next feeding.

This is one happy plant, she takes any of the training I give her, she’s eating twice a week now, around a gallon a day, just eating to be a real beauty, so so excited to see her at harvest.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way.
