Patience is in fact a virtue. I tought she was near, but to my surprise, she had a growth explosion, a lot of new calyxes! I'll wait another week, keeping a close eye.

16.01.2026 – BT 75 Zu guter Letzt stand die Zoap Rose an. Gegen Ende der Blüte fiel mir leider auf, dass sich in einigen Buds einzelne Bananen gebildet hatten. Zudem habe ich vorsorglich fünf Samen entfernt. Beim Ernten selbst kamen mir jedoch direkt extrem intensive Terps entgegen: sehr fruchtig, mit einem leichten Hauch von Kaugummi. Von allen drei Pflanzen hatte diese definitiv das beste Terpenprofil. Kommen wir nun zum Highlight des Ganzen. Auch diese Pflanze wurde – wie zuvor schon die Apples & Oranges – mit der DryRocket getrocknet. Dieses Mal habe ich die Pflanze jedoch nicht komplett austrocknen lassen, sondern sie drei Tage nach dem letzten Gießgang geerntet. Anschließend kam sie in ein 40 × 40 × 160 cm Zelt. Ursprünglich war geplant, mein 120 × 60 Zelt zu nutzen, doch nach Rücksprache mit DryRocket wurde mir empfohlen, ein kleineres Zelt zu verwenden. Der Grund: In kleineren Zelten lässt sich die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit oft besser kontrollieren, da sie dort natürlicherweise schneller ansteigt als in größeren Räumen. Also gesagt, getan – die DryRocket bekam eine weitere Chance. Und was soll ich sagen: Das Ergebnis war Bombe. Nach der Trocknung lagen die Buds bei 62 % RLF in den Grove Bags und die Terpene waren weiterhin krank am Start. Zum Vergleich: Die Clementine Slush wurde parallel in DryFerm Bags getrocknet. Hier habe ich aktuell noch einen eher heuartigen Geruch, was sich erfahrungsgemäß jedoch meist während des anschließenden Curings legt, bevor die eigentlichen Terpene zum Vorschein kommen. Das Zelt selbst wurde zusätzlich noch mit Frischhaltefolie abgedichtet, sodass wirklich alles luftdicht war. Ich musste mich während der gesamten Trocknung um absolut nichts kümmern. In der App wird eine Raumtemperatur von ca. 19–23 °C empfohlen – in genau diesem Bereich war ich durchgehend. Ich habe kein einziges Mal manuell ins System eingegriffen. Die Trocknung verlief dieses Mal spürbar langsamer als beim ersten Durchgang. Auch das Granulat der DryRocket war am Ende vollständig gesättigt, was sich deutlich an der grünen Färbung erkennen ließ. Fazit: Der Test ist definitiv bestanden ! Ich kann die DryRocket hier guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Wie schon in meinem anderen Beitrag erwähnt, wünsche ich mir für die Zukunft allerdings noch ein paar Verbesserungen: Eine Möglichkeit, das RocketFuel (Silica Gel) selbst zu regenerieren oder zur Regeneration einzuschicken Eine erweiterte App mit mehr Parametern und Einstellmöglichkeiten Der aktuelle Preis liegt bei 299 € inklusive RocketFuel. Ob einem das den Preis wert ist, muss am Ende jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Produktion und Support sitzen in Deutschland, was für mich ein klarer Pluspunkt ist Des Weiteren möchte ich mich bei Shogun, DrainMaster und DryRocket für die Möglichkeit bedanken, ihre Produkte testen zu dürfen – das ist natürlich nicht selbstverständlich! Set up an evaporative cooler to act as an intake and to cool the temp through evaporation. It I was able to get the average temperature down to an average of 77°. Relative Humidity increased to an average of 55%. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Evaporative Cooler: The evaporative cooler was way bigger than I thought and blowing all the air into the tent would be overkill and would throw off my ventilation given that I only have a 4inch exhaust fan blowing air out. So I had to rig an air duct onto the front to channel some, but not all, of the air coming from the evaporative cooler. I cut a hole in a plastic brownie box and zip tied right angle plate that I had leftover from an ikea furniture. Then I put velcro tape to easily attach and remove the air duct from the cooler for future maintentance and cleaning. I left the room where my tent is closed one day and the humidity went up to 84% which also increased the temperature to 90° but I found that simply leaving the room door open gives the cooler enough air circulation in order to function properly and averaged out at 55% RH and 77° F. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Defoliated some ugly fan leaves that were shading a lot of lower buds.

Start of week 2

We’re in the midst of the bulking phase now, with a few buds stacking up nicely. Unfortunately, the plant on the left has sparser bud distribution. Compared to other auto genetics, these three plants also show a broad variety in growth structure and phenological traits. Also, overall plant health isn’t entirely satisfying, with high temperatures being the Main cause. The leaves are showing several stress-related issues like mild tip burn, nitrogen deficiency, and some cal-mag problems. But hey—we’re here to grow buds, not leaves! 😄 That said, the fade is to be expected as the plants start to cannibalize themselves for nutrients. The stretch is also in its final phase, so we’re likely 3 to 4 weeks away from harvest. --- Quick rundown on everything else: Watering: 1500ml every third day Fertilizer: According to the BioBizz schedule Light intensity: ~1000 PPFD VPD: ~1.62 kPa Temperature: ~28°C Relative humidity: ~55%
