Such a top quality strain 🔝 very very terpy, stinks like OG kush, rock hard dense nuggets, they're literally rocks. Very frosty nuggets, full covered in resin flowers. Those orange hairs just make her irresistibly delicious 😋 I just can't wait to smoke such a high grade. This is gonna be a good year. Hope to always have this lady in my garden every year 🤤👨‍🌾💎🍪

Strain: Chocolate Haze (Royal Queen Seeds) Medium: Coco bricks (Action budget bricks – hell yeah 💰) Light cycle: 12/12 from seed Grow Style: No training, no stress – just flow Grow Medium Prep: 500L of coco – never again in one go 😅 The Kickoff 🚀 This run started off wild and direct – no veg time, straight into 12/12 with Chocolate Haze. I wanted a quick turnaround and thought, hey, why wait? I germinated 14 seeds, hoping for at least 9 strong ladies. Ended up with 11 survivors – not bad! First few weeks were a bit chaotic: stretching due to low light (I tucked the seedlings under mature plants, which I do not recommend 😆), and the coco prep took way longer than expected. But hey, that's the game. Early Veg/Bloom — Lessons Learned pH: Started a bit high; some light green leaves at first EC: Too low at 1.3 — they weren't having it. Upped to 1.7 and then to 2.1 later Environment: New extractor dropped temps way down (25°C vs my usual 30°C). Thought it would help, but growth felt slower Coco quirks: They looked overwatered at times, but coco is tricky like that. Eventually, roots hit the bottom and they took off Around mid-March (3 weeks in), pistils showed up – officially the start of flower. I topped them once just before full bloom kicked in. Always a strange move, cutting healthy plants... but they bounced back beautifully. Nice and bushy now. Week 2–5 Flowering 🌸 These ladies are small but mighty. Not tall, but full of energy. The canopy is tight and even (except for one shorty), and they've been stretching like crazy — classic sativa move. Had to raise the lights twice in two days. I’ll probably do some defoliation soon to slow things down a bit. Environment is now dialed in: Temp: 30°C with lights on RH: Holding nicely in that humid sweet spot CO₂: Set to 500ppm (passive mostly, no full-on enrichment) Feeding is now solid, color has recovered beautifully, and the buds are starting to form nice stacks. I’ve kept it low-stress — no nets, no heavy training, just letting them do their thing. Observations & Setup Tweaks 🔧 Ventilation: Running the fan at just 30% now. Tent takes 18 seconds to vacuum seal, which tells me airflow is minimal – less CO₂ loss. CO₂ System: Minimal usage at 500 ppm. I’m not going all-out with gas bottles; it’s just there as a buffer. Structure: These Chocolate Haze plants don’t get tall, but they do fill out nicely. Perfect for a space where height is limited. Auto side note: One of the autos in the same tent is way taller, but less dense. Makes me appreciate the Chocolate Haze structure even more. Current Status (April 17) 📆 We’re deep into flower now — week 5, and it shows. Buds are swelling and resin production is kicking in. Nothing major to report (which is kind of the point of this grow — set and forget). Just a slight dry issue with one auto, which I adjusted on the Blumats. Besides that? Happy plants, happy grower. 🌞 Check the latest pics — they speak for themselves. Final Thoughts (So Far) 💭 This Chocolate Haze grow has been chill, efficient, and surprisingly hands-off. The direct 12/12 schedule really works when you're going for a fast cycle with minimal hassle. And even though I’m usually more into hybrids, this sativa-dominant lady is winning me over — the structure, the vigor, the smell… mmm. Now we wait for the real magic — the last few weeks of flower. Hey everyone ☺️. It gets more beautiful from week to week 😍👍. I have them all this week Sprayed again properly with neem oil in the veggie phase ☺️. There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. With a heavy heart I unfortunately had to sort out a phenotype for reasons of space but it is not bad because the pheno did not have to die but was allowed to see the light of a friend 😃👍 I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. The Ph / Ec measuring device was also recalibrated. Otherwise there is nothing to report for this week and we'll see you again with the next update ☺️👍. Still going… since I got some positive feedback, I made a video. I think this helps so much imagining the size of the space! Daughter is doing great… cozy environment! And since day and night time schedule of my plant and my personal live aren’t in sync I do now own a green LED headlight, which - if it is working as advertised - shouldn’t stress the plants, when watering during the night. 11/15 new phone: Media Update

Well well. In the end I've got 2 surprises. First - the mold in the main branch of the biggest plant.. The half of it was destroyed. The second surprise is the seed.. whoah.. Il see if it will grow. And meet my dog - Berny. She scares rick's portal gun. This year brought eough problems, so i can't say if ill grow, or even live next time, so please do not subscribe to my acc. Be cool in new year. Habe mich hier gerade registriert, weswegen ich dieses Diary erst ab der 10. Woche anfange. Kurz zur Erklärung: Wir hatten eine Tangerine Dream Auto von Barney's Farm im 3L-Topf mit einer Habibi-LED-Lampe von Crescience. - Allerdings ohne Zelt, da wir uns das Leben einer Cannabispflanze als totale Newbees mal anschauen wollten. Sie wuchs zierlich (wurde aber auch schon über 50 cm groß) und brachte kleinere aber schöne Blüten. Allerdings war sie durch unsere Ahnungslosigkeit und meine Ernährungsfehler so gestresst, dass sie gezwittert ist und sich sogar selbst bestäubt hat. Die Pflanze, um die es in diesem Diary geht, ist ein Samen von ihr ( - also kein "echter" BF-Strain). Mittlerweile ist sie ab Erdboden 175 cm groß mit einer 35 cm langen Kola auf dem Haupttrieb. Eine echte Long Tall Sally. Das "Zelt" ist eine Improvisation aus einem Gitterregal mit nur noch einem Boden, an dem die Lampe hängt, und einem darüber geworfenem Grow-Zelt. Da das Prachtstück aber mit Topf knapp 2 m hoch ist, steht das Gitterregal zusätzlich noch auf vier gleich dicken Büchern. ;-) Am Anfang machte ich ihr gleich Stress, da ich sie zu spät umtopfte. Fette Ringwurzeln im kleinen Anzuchttopf waren die Konsequenz. Nachdem ich die etwas zerissen hatte, damit sie aus dem Teufelskreis wieder raus kommt, dauerte das Warten 3 lange Tage. Aber dann ging's los - als ob nichts passiert wäre. Ich füttere die Pflanze locker und etwas schwächer nach dem Feeding-Plan von Crazy Hills (aktuell WK 5 der Blüte). Die einzige Ausnahme ist, dass ich jedem Gießwasser der Pflanze - von der Wiege bis zur Bahre - als Prophylaxe CalMag hinzufüge. Ich habe zuviel gelesen und gehört, was Growen unter LED angeht. Sie scheint es zu mögen, zumindest sagen die Blätter nichts Gegenteiliges. :-)

Training has been continued. She is developing very nicely. As of today she has been switched to 12/12, as the net starts to get busy and anticipating another stretch I thought it would be time.

No nutes the last two weeks, only water, at the moment they're looking good so far. we're coming to an end, it was a small, experimental & nice Wintergrow.
