This is how things are looking for the ladies at the end of their first week of Flower, 3rd Holy Smoke strain that I'm trying out and their strains just go BEAST MODE in Flower. 06/04/24. Going into week 5 flower. Not much to say here this week. Everything is pretty much same as last week. Seems like things are slow going. I feel like the buds aren’t doing much really and should be bigger. These are a longer going strain than my other so maybe that makes a difference. Maybe I’m just impatient. Guess we’ll see. Only thing aside from that I find concerning is #2 seems to have some pistils turning color. Seems way too early for that. I keep checking for hermie crap or pollen or something lol. If this was just its thing it seems like both plants would be doing it, but I guess you know what they say about assuming. Thanks for lookin & have a good week.

Still trucking along. I had my light turned up a bit high for the first week, I turned them down a few days ago and all the plants seemed to enjoy it. Nothing else to report really.

Started low stress training on June 29th in the first video. Second video is July 1st she grew quite a bit since adjusting the stakes. Really looking forward to her training seeing how big she can get.

Day 58: Added another scrog net for stability 8-10 inches above lower net.

Stick a fork in her, she's done. Look at the timelapse how she goes yellow very quickly! Shortly after these pics she was harvested. I note she is VERY sticky.

The time has come! Flowering has been initiated and is off to a good start, The Photoperiod is now running at 11/13 on/off and the intensity of the light has been bumped up to 60% giving me a DLI of aorund 37.5 at 30" hang height in my 2x4. As the plants where topped a bunch I have found in previous grows the stretch will not be as crazy as if I left them on their own, however the increased pot size may negate that effect, only time will tell :D I also gave them a 2nd watering as the last one was leaving the pots a bit to light. This could be their new normal 1gal one week, 2 gal the next separated by a few days. They have all been amended with a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom from Gaia, Also added in some extra Insect Frass, Yeast and Bokashi grains, mixed this all with worm castings and compost for the top dress. added the compost after mixing it into the top layer so it gives it a bit of a blanket. made a little video of it and me watering the plants on a speed run. One thing I need to find is a sprayer head that has a 70-90 degree bend on it. I'm tired of watering from overhead as my wand is straight and does not have a bend. Its made of hard plastic and was thinking I would toss the tip in the oven to soften it up and place a coat hanger though it, then bend it ever so slightly and wait for it to cool, can snip off the wire and pull it out once its all done and have a bent tip. or I can get a 2nd wand attachment for it. Just been so busy have not had time to search for it, the peppers are doing much better as well, after the defoliation from last week they where getting a bit more light but that is all gone now, the plants have taken it back. and they are in shade, the plants seem to like it more. only the one strain likes the intense light of the led's, Fatalii peppers, It might be the hottest ones I'm growing if the goronong don't measure up. The JigSaw peppers are also starting to show some of their variegation in the leaves that make them pretty to grow now they are in the shade more. and its bound to be better then pure purple leaves from the LED"s Butterwort is eating all the gnats as well. so no problem there. Will apply the nematodes later next week to kill em off in the medium. Don't want them getting trapped in the flowers. stupid little fuckers. I left out some of the extras in the water this week as it was its first topdressing, didn't want to stress it out to much, I will be topdressing every week and diving the total ammount of amendments in 4 parts. vs one big feeding at beginning of the month like its been suggested on the label, I find this helps avoid the N burn I normally see and gives them a bit better of a breakdown for flowering period. It worked really well with my G13 Labs Blue Cindy grow so I am repeating the process and will likely make this my new standard. I will also be adding in some Mg into every other water till stretch is done same with a very light feeding of molasses, I know it has been negative in past grows but going to try it out again with much smaller amounts. 1tea/pot, the extra sugars should work wonders on the Bokashi added into the soil and allow it to thrive. Plants are starting to get more of a funk to them as well, So i feel that's what was happening with the gifted plant to my parents smelling up the place, it was just entering flowering as it was not in a tent n the lighting must have been to low. And the little cuttings I did last week are fine, no roots but will soon have a bunch of little clones to go. Just in time for spring. I think that's it. Day 51 - Week 8 started and it’s looking like I really need to stay on top of watering her. If she doesn’t get water every 2 days, she seems to get severely dehydrated and droopy. Within an hour of watering she perks right up. Went ahead and gave her a feeding of nutes and tucked some leaves as best I can. Day 52 - She’s perked back up again and looking normal. Did some defoliating to get more light to the bud sites and also tucked a few leaves to avoid over stressing her from plucking leaves. From the way she’s been acting, I will be giving her a gallon of water every 3 days to keep her from drying out and drooping. Day 53 - Did a little more leaf removal and tucking today to try and keep her opened up. She’s starting to fill in a bit more and will be giving her some water today to make sure she doesn’t dry out too much like the last couple times. Day 55 - All looking good and she’s dried up a bit but gave her a gallon of water today. Didn’t do any defoliating today, just watered her and tucked some leaves. The wife will be taking care of my girls while I’m out of town for a week so hopefully they survive till I get back.

I got one Amnesia Lemon Haze seed cross fem pollen for now and looking for more. would make a killer sativa. I messed up with PK Boost but the plant was pretty lanky weak stems will need support. I think the cross will be a bit better like my pev ALH grow. 100G is not bad. Mostly mids though not hard Ill upload a video. 😬 I used 100w led total (200w shared w/ another big plant) on the sour diesel it wont let me copy from veg and save it :( I notice its much easier to wait and do this shit on a computer. 2021 and still can't multi select pics on mobile. Day 14, some supercropping Day 15 .. it’s under control 😂🤣 Day 19 lights almost maxed to tent height unless I zip tie led to the top ceiling frame, last bit of monster cropping. Lost 2 top nugs to physical led burn but it’s ok. Everything is fine. Still going very hard on soluble N, and Pk along with b+, fishsh!t, microbial mass, humic acid. Carbs every day with organic booster

close to harvest have milky trichromes all over the place but only 4th week of flower some ambers too. buds getting thicker by the day . can she be ready after the fourth week? gonna try for better trichromes shots i know spelling is off but its ok

I can't take it off from my top 5 indeed Top 3 from the first time I made it is among my favorites, this time in black phenotype or Dark Purple at the end of the Journey She Make Purple Leaves at the top. Beautiful full and matured in less than 8 weeks is now in the hassle room and we can't wait for passing time to try it. Resin production is unbeatable as usual. The grow was fairly straightforward and no complications. Veg was fast amd stalks were the thickest to date, I was impressed. Flower was a beautiful show, colors were dark and pretty, got to love that. Buds frosted up immensely amd after the trim still looked frosty. Smell was also a beautiful fragrance, the nose does not work so good amd to be honest mybe its me too. Cant really say amd don't want to make shit up. I will leave this up to a friend and will update later with the smoke report. I have to say this was a great and very satisfying grow. I'm not really sure if I am getting better or ot is the strain. I did change a bunch of things up. I topped at the fourth node this time, probably should have did some more topping too. Will work on that on later grows. During flower I did not let the pots get too dry, maybe 40 or 50%. I also started using a smaller area and now in a tent. Temperatures were also a bit higher, I think the Silicate helped the plan throught this. Flower I had low humidity, consistantly around 38%. Started using a PH pen part way through, just after flower started. This also seemed to help and being it was accurate. I PH'd runoff, never had to make much adjustments thought. Photos from Day 1 to day 7 Sprouted 2 days after planted them. More or less I call them "B" and "S" because at some point, I guess in this first week, I may have overwatered a bit, one of them, and I think it made her grow slower during a week or so, before it got up to its growth again. I was only spraying them with water but I was doing it 2-3 times a day and may have done it 4 times once or twice... My first grow, I may have studied many videos and foruns, but somethings are only learnt when tried. And this "try" went juuust a lil sideways. Its ok Lights were at 50% I guess from the moment they felt earth. I found it fascinating how fast they grew in just 12 hours give or take. Check the photos I also used plastic bottles on tip of them in the first 3-5 days. Temperature inside it was from 22-28°C. RH 70-90%.
