Week 2: The Growth Phase Begins The germination phase is officially behind us, and it’s time to kick off the vegetative growth phase. Transplanted and topped today. I always transplant and top at the same time as new shoots equals new roots! Maximize your grow! The roots are looking amazing for this transplant. I made another coco perlite and gaia green mix. This time with a 1:2 ratio of the 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 because I will be flipping to flower the week after the plants have recovered from topping. On transplant I use a mycorrhizae powder to reduce transplant shock and aid in nutrient uptake and root development. They still need some nitrogen to support them during the stretch but the added phosphorus helps with the stretch along with potassium to setting buds. I also installed my first layer of trellis to weave the plants in early. At the end of the week I got 2 autos and wanted to see what I could do with them so I planted them and then also got rid of one of the Caramel Creams (C.C) because it was lagging behind the other one a little to much.

Ill have to update the final results in 4 weeks. Plants are still drying and I gave it my best guess.

Switched to 12/12 Defoiled them every 2 days...slightly, just to stop all shadings Mixed in some flowering nutes mid week Got an really even canopy...LST did a good job...light seems to be used very efficient now

Day 36: I bend the branches even more, cut off the top leaf that covered 2 buds, one of them is very small, I hope to give it at least a little chance to grow. This is a victim of a broken branch.

Day 35 Update Both plants have officially entered the stretch phase this week. I did some additional LST to keep the plants even and opened up the structure a bit more. A light defoliation was done as well to make sure all the stems are getting plenty of light and airflow. Flowering started toward the end of the week, things are looking strong and healthy so far.

Week 5 Day 7 Flower Everything moving along swimmingly Nice strong smell coming from these nicely forming buds. Roots are nice and clean colonizing the trays. This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.
