Looking at the seedlings, the first two are about 6 cm tall. Do you think I should already transplant them into their pot and put them under a vegetative LED light even though they don't have the first two original leaves?

Wait until it has got its first two true leaves, the serrated ones, and you can see the next two already forming. Although transplanting now is possible, waiting until the plant is a little bigger will avoid any risks associated with handling the baby/new seedlings. Once they have the first true leaves they are more able to make use of the light. At this stage that it is at now, the plant is trying to establish a root system and get the first true leaves to function. Any interference at this time may "upset" the newly hatched seedling, all for the sake of not waiting the extra day or two before she is a fully functioning and self supporting being. Hope this helps,..... Organoman.

PeppeItalia After seven days since I planted the seeds, all the seedlings are in pots. Until this morning, I had a little mold issue in the substrate. Thanks to you, I'm trying to fix it. For now, I've removed 3 cm of substrate, sprinkled cinnamon on top of it, and activated the two extractors, turning them on for half an hour every two hours off, to avoid dropping the humidity too much. Tomorrow, a humidifier with a hygrometer should arrive, so I'll turn on the extractors much more often. Day 8 since planting. I've set up a humidifier placed in the grow to maintain a constant humidity of 65 percent, with the temperature under constant light at 22 degrees and an extraction system of 15 minutes on, 15 off, plus an active fan when the extractors are off. The mold problem doesn't seem to be there anymore. 5 out of 6 seedlings seem to be in excellent health. Today is the 4th day since transplanting, and I want to experiment with keeping the lamp on with both veg and bloom lights; I'll check the plants' behavior every couple of hours. If I see them drooping, I'll immediately switch back to just the veg light. On day 6, the seedlings seem to be in excellent health. Today, I gave 1ml of root stimulant for the first time, diluting it in a liter of water, so about 200 ml of liquid per plant.

After two days in the grow, I noticed small bits of mold on the substrate. Panic. Any advice and remedies? Temperature is between 22 and 24, humidity around 70-80. Until this morning, I had never turned on the exhaust fans. Will turning on the air solve it?

Organomananswered grow question 6y ago
Most likely caused by the hyper humid atmosphere and lack of ventilation. You definitely need to your fans on. As for the mould, try removing the affected bits and as long as you keep the extractors going and reduce the humidity levels a lot, the mould should stop and your plant will be fine.

Do you think turning on the blue vegetative LED lights, along with the red light, can harm the seedlings? Or will keeping both buttons of the lamp on together only be beneficial for the seedlings?

Hey! If your lamp has the option to switch, light specifically for the growth period and light more specifically for the flowering period, then choose based on where your plant is at right now. If you have a button to grow, then select that now. I used a lamp that had the combination, I couldn't switch, so I had both white, blue, and red light in every stage of my plant's life. I never had a problem with that, so I think it's fine if you have both buttons on. And I also had a 600 watt LED lamp, just like you. But if the function is on your lamp, then yes, I would use it. I hope I can help! πŸ™‚ Good luck with growing 🌱

PeppeItalia First day of the second week, Today I received cocos a and b, pH down, and a pH meter in the mail. I immediately gave water with the correct pH for the first time. Fortunately, all the seedlings except one are enjoying wonderful health. Only one has shown two small yellow spots on the leaf edges; I think it's due to the wrong pH from the past few days. I'll see what happens in the coming days. On January 27, 2 of the 4 LED panels of the lamp burned out. A new lamp will arrive on Friday. I got a Niello 1200w with Cree cob; I would be happy to know if anyone uses it and how it performs, or to receive any additional info. On day 9, while I wait for the new LED lamp, the plants continue to grow. On day 10, the new 1200w Niello lamp arrived, and after a couple of hours of being on, the plants seem to like it. I still have many doubts about the amount of water to give and how often, but I'm studying to understand it better. Last day of this second week. The seedlings seem to be growing well except for one. It has remained small and with dark green leaves. I've read a lot about various causes, too much nitrogen, too much water, etc. I transplanted it into a new pot with new soil and treated it with a double dose of root power and enzymes; hopefully, it will recover.

PeppeItalia Today marks 21 days since I put the seed in the soil. For never having grown a plant in my life, I'm very satisfied. I read a ton of things before starting, and so far I can say it's easier to do it than to read about it; dozens of sites with similar rules, but so many conflicting rules from different sites. February 3rd, the first day of the third week has passed, same situation: 4 happy little plants and one still stuck. Today I had fun silencing the extractors. And as I said, it's easier to do it directly. Today I did an LST experiment. The plant lifted its head after just a few hours. Tonight I'll apply LST to all the little plants. 23 days since planting. I'm taking advantage of the sun and the mild temperature to let them enjoy a sunny day. On day 26, I raised the lamp to 80 cm; measuring with a light meter, I realized that at that distance my lamp is almost 50,000 lumens. And that's when I understood what caused the burns from the past few days. I'm thinking about getting a less powerful lamp. But with these adjustments, the plants have doubled, if not tripled, in the last 4 days.

PeppeItalia The plants seem to be doing well, even though they look too small. Maybe the strong LED light didn't let them stretch. In the last 4 days, I set the light to 80 cm, and things seem to have changed a lot; they've grown quite a bit compared to the previous weeks. But they only measure 15 cm. The little plant that has had problems since birth, the smallest one, has put out the first flower buds; maybe the double transplant caused it double stress, pushing it into flowering even though it's tiny compared to the other plants and still has small leaves. Today marks one month and 2 days since I planted the seeds, exactly on January 13, and today is February 15. I never even thought I would find myself with a little garden in the grow like this a month ago. I feel very satisfied up to today.

PeppeItalia A new week has started. Two little plants seem to have some issues with nutrients. Growing with coconut substrate doesn't seem to have been a good idea. Too many problems with pH. I always give the recommended doses, but in my opinion, the sterile coconut substrate creates quite a few difficulties. On the last day of the week, the grow is full, there's no more space for the heater. I'm very satisfied.

PeppeItalia I can no longer fit them in the grow unless I stack one on top of the other. This means that the plants only get light from above, and I'm trying to solve the problem by putting them in the sun whenever I can. Today marks 52 days since planting, it's March 6, 2021.

PeppeItalia Another week has gone by. According to the seed calendar, my plants should be almost ready, but I still see some tiny flowers. They have a really strong smell. I can't light them well in the grow; there are too many and they're too big. It's been bad weather for two weeks, so I can't even put them in the sun. I would like advice on how much time is left. Since last Wednesday, my pH tester has been broken, and two plants got burned and died. Fortunately, 3 have survived without showing any signs.

PeppeItalia I think I'm in the last two weeks at most. It's been ten weeks since germination. The Easy Bud's technical sheet says to harvest in 10 weeks, but the pistils are still white and the trichomes are 70 percent white. I'm waiting this week to see what happens. The two royal ak have less than half of the orange pistils. And the trichomes are still not all white. Both varieties still have all their green leaves. Taking advantage of the nice weather and mild climate, I moved them outside from the grow and let them soak up the sun all day, putting them back in the grow only when it gets dark, and supplementing the light hours with the grow. They're actually enjoying 10 hours of sunlight a day and 8 hours of LED lights.

PeppeItalia It's been 12 weeks since planting. The plants are almost ready; I could cut them today, but I want to give them one last week to mature the lower flowers. So, I completely defoliated them to let the light in well these last few days. Cut the top parts and left the little popcorn buds underneath. To let them mature a bit more. For now, the wet weight is 550 grams.

Another important thing for growing is humidity. Be sure to use humidifier and set it up to 70%. This RQSS should be fast enough. Check mine WRA, it also slows un the beginning, but then it could stretch in 500%.
