I am using Advanced Nutrients Ph Perfect Sensi Coco Grow A&B as it was given to me free but the Grow B seems to have a bit of an off smell, it's very faint but I do notice a difference from the last run. I store it in the dark fairly cool temps, any thoughts? I'm thinking about switching to bloom but will monitor closely. This week has been recovery week from topping at the 4th node and is responding well. The overall growth is as expected to this point and I'm expecting some stretch in the next few weeks and then things will be booming. I like the size of the fan leaves, their big for a Auto or at least the ones I have grown to date but the wedn cake and gorglu#4 are monster leaves so I'm a little stoked to see what Original Sensible Seeds has to offer but so far so good. Last week until I switch to flower so I'm feeding every watering roughly 2-3 days with ample runoff, 30%. I don't mind extra runoff as I know nutes can be pricey but this stuff will go bad before I ever use it up and I think this is my last run with Advanced Nutrients. Original Sensible Seeds Wedding Cake Auto LED 180 watts Coco 2 gallon pots Advanced Nutrients House and Garden Botanicare Week 6 Welcome peeps to my complimentary diary on behalf of Original Sensible Seeds. So far very Strong genetics and explosive growth on this one. I just flipped today into bloom and did some defoliation to expose bud sites and better air flow as the humidity started to rise close to 60 rh but I have managed to drop to 50 rh with defoliation. This was supposed to be a micro grow with 4 varieties so I decided to go with small 2 gallon pots and as it turns out this gal has other plans. I am currently around 21 inches and I just flipped her and I Only have about 6-8 inches of head space so I think I may run into trouble here. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly welcomed and appreciated. So I started heavy on the bloom nutes and will slowly decrease week to week while feeding with every watering roughly 2-3 days but more on the 2 day side now that I am in bloom to make sure she doesn't get too dry. I did some selective defoliation leaving behind 2 sets of fans while cleaning the bottom half removing fans blocking bud sites. I'll follow up with another major defoliation in 3 weeks. I'll start off by saying that Original Sensible Seeds has very Strong genetics from what I am seeing here. Week 2 of flower and this baby is standing at 36 inches and still growing very strong. She out grew my 5ft tent as she was 12in from the lights and I don't want to chance any burn so I moved them into my closet and ordered myself a 4'x 4'x6.5' Secret Jardin with all the bells and whistles which is arriving tomorrow which will give me much needed space. So I added some Big Bud Coco which is the only change this week to my feeding schedule which is supposed to help but we'll see soon enough. She stands 42" and is a beautiful plant to grow with fine genetics compliments to Original Sensible Seeds!! This particular strain loves to be fed daily as she sucks her pot dry less than 24hrs. Strong genetics, very easy plant to grow for beginners as well as more seasoned veterans. Quite large for an autoflower standing at 45" after topping. I chose to lollipop this gal to promote bud production higher up the plant which receives more par lighting compared to underneath the canopy that can be lost in shadows at times. So far just cruising along with daily feeding with ample runoff roughly 30% to keep the Roots free from salt buildup. Beautiful plant with strong genetics easy for any grower level. Very thirsty plant likes daily feeding with every watering roughly 2.5 litres with ample runoff to keep roots free from salt buildup. This plant bushed out this week so I did some selective defoliation to expose bud sites that were starting to shade with fans. I wish I had a extra light or two to really showcase these genetics but I'm sure you'll see considering I have four on the go with a whopping 180 watts powering it all lol but I wanted a variety and I didn't think they would get this big but that's a nice problem to have so I was thinking instead of cutting 2 down I'll just rotate the plants and see what will happen. So I'm starting to see some rust spots on some top fan leaves which seem to be Calcium deficiency or possibly nute burn I'm not exactly sure but I'm leaning towards Calcium deficiency. I added a touch more cal-mag. I need to rethink my water source because I'm sitting around 350ppm straight outa the tap so maybe I'll try distilled next grow to see if there's much of a change. Shouldn't be much longer now the hairs are turning orange and I'm just waiting for the trichomes to hit 20-30% amber as I prefer a stronger stone. Original Sensible Seeds Wedding Cake Auto LED 180 Coco 2 gallon fabric pot Advanced Nutrients House and Garden Botanicare Week 14 Hi guys/gals, so this will be the final week before flushy flushy. Trichomes are almost cloudy. The smell is pungent as she ripens. Bulked up this week and the hairs are darkening brown. I don't see any fade but as soon as those trichomes hit 10-20% amber, that's a wrap for this lady. Overall a nice strain to grow from Original Sensible Seeds. Genetics are strong with vigorous growth and she took very well to topping. The only real problem that I faced was that I ran out of the ph down that I use so I picked up some Root Farm ph down which I don't recommend using because the ppm was 980 with just water. I calibrated my meter and the reading was 978 ppm. I'm not sure if this is straight acid or piss in a bottle but wtf? Well a grower pointed out nute burn so I then checked the ppm and wowsers it was over 3000 ppm. Quickly rectified with a flush and back in business with Root Farm no more lol yeah I got complacent down the stretch not checking the runoff but lesson learned. Wedding Cake Auto is a vigorous growing strain with strong genetics. Do not forget your Cal-Mag. Caution on overfeeding I got lazy and didn't check the runoff the last month and the Ec reading was 2.8. Yikes, not good but lesson learned and quickly rectified with ample flush. Took to topping very well but I'd recommend some training as well to ensure an even canopy as I just let her grow resulting in me harvesting in sections to allow the lower nugs to firm up.
