Buds stacking up nicely. Did some overdue trimming/defoliation to help with light and airflow. They are some thirsty girls. Looks like I've got all 3 phenotypes of this strain represented: short and bushy, thin and wispy, and Original Recipe. I'm not sure which is which. Meh. I'm optimistic regardless.

9/26 This fucking sucks. Site won't let me upload pictures. Flood warning in effect. I believe this is the fifth day of rain. Not trickles. Sheet rain and high winds. My dream catchers have been taking this like a champ. Ice cream cake was totally sideways for awhile despite vertical trellis. I came down this morning to branches bent at 90° angles. I could've taken them but if I make it through this rain today it's supposed to stop tonight. Then I'll have a week of good weather. Buds are exploding. Even the ice cream cake. That will need more time but I'm getting close with the others. They are never out of sight. I'm surprised they've held up so well so far. I made my decision it would be stupid to alter it now, seeing how the storm is ending. I was going to spray k bicarb but I'll wait until after this rain.UPDATE: Went back over and the garden was flooded. I needed to put one grow bag on top of another as one plant was in six inches of water. I drained it and added supports and pulled off any dead leaves. I tried taking a video but it was raining so hard it stopped after 7 secs. Luckily my dreamcatchers are strong AF. Took to little ones and put them under the barn under a light. It's FINALLY stopped raining. After I smoke I gotta go back over and shake buds again and check for rot. Luckily nothing was broken but it was hanging right down. Fucking sucks. Spent like two hours in sheet rain. UPDATE: Stopped raining. I went over and continued to defoliate and cut little bits of rot from the interior. Sprayed a gallon of potassium bicarbonate and dawn on ever spot of rot I could find. I've been to the patch multiple times today. Found a few earwigs. I think I've found my problem. Late stage leaf septoria with earwigs eating the rotting plant matter. Fucking sucks but at least I have an idea. Can't upload pics and phone wouldn't even work in the rain. One 7 second video. 9/27 The extra work I've been putting in has certainly helped. I got in touch with a company who will do any type of extraction I want for $200 a lb. Fucking awesome. My cousin got 250 grams love rosin last year with this same company. I am sore. I checked trichs but I'm not seeing much Amber yet. Buds are gaining density fast. At least now that I have an idea what my problem is I can address it. Plants showed signs of pm after drying out. I did a k bicarb spray and this morning there isn't a spot. I need to take care of what's hanging so that's the plan today. 9/28 I think I made the right decision.my plants are looking good. Not where I want them but it's getting close. I checked the trichs this morning. Under 24 hour surveillance till harvest. Well it has been but now I stay up every nigh watching the cctv. Went down in the middle of the night to check for nocturnal bugs. Didn't find any. I've been defoliating the yellow septoria leaves. I went through every plant and cut out any rot and removed andy sugar leaves that started to turn brown. This and the k bicarb seem to help. I think that Leaf septoria has dwarfed the growth of the smaller dream catcher. Buds don't seem to be growing much more. Even my ICC has buds almost the size of the little one. The other dreamcatcher will probably be an elbow plant. The ice cream cake has beefed up incredibly and is covered in trich's. I'm super excited but I'm cautious at the same time. I hate that fucking dog but it's an added layer of security. Soon I'll do the harvest report for DJ short blueberry. 9/29 Trich's are changing fast. Haven't been watering lately do to all the rain. Plants are real real close. Up all night watching. Dog flipped out at 4am but no one was there. I want to wait until I have a little more Amber but I'm super excited. I may end up taking some tops. May end up doing a k bicarb spray today. Haven't decided yet. I'll update as I go. I've been making head way trimming the blueberry. 9/30. Things are looking beautiful. The smell at the garden is amazing. Lots of hard work left. Plants do have septoria and slight pm so I may do a bud wash. I cut a branch from each plant. I think I'm at the point of diminishing returns. Every wet night mold and critters take more and the chances of some idiot coming to try and take my shit increases. I may end up harvesting a little earlier. I'd lie to wait but the trichs look pretty good to me. Still doing all the maintenance required. I am extremely proud of this grow. I fought everything this year. Started with mites and thrips. Powder mildew came with them too. Now I've faced every pest or disease this year. At least it seems that way. Going into week 2 with extreme excitement. Made some changes to my custom grow tent (Camping closet lol). Added better circulation (14cm) computer fan to bring in the fresher air & provide more circulation as the plants were experiencing some canoeing at a stage. Girls now growing really well. Increased nutrient feed from "first true leaves" to "Grow" according to Flora Coco chart.

Beginning of week 5 and I finally started to LST the lady's. Had to give time for blueberrys recovery from getting FIMed lol. To be honest I'm gonna let them grow another week and transplant week 6 into there final pots. So this week will be the start of a very long and dedicated process of maintaing a good canopy. Overall I think flowering should be 3 weeks away. Not trying to have a monster harvest on my first go around. My focus is to just succeed at my first grow and be proud of my personal stash at the end of this awesome journey. I plan on starting a new grow after this one so I know what to expect and plan bigger and better, this is more of a test run to see if I can grow good weed indoors. So far so good. Keine Komplikationen, alle Pflanzen sehen gesund aus und entwickeln sich gut. Der Lichtzyklus wurde über 6 Tage hinweg schrittweise reduziert, jeden Tag eine Stunde weniger Licht. Heute ist der erste Tag mit 12/12 Licht-Dunkel-Zyklus und damit der offizielle Start der Blütephase. Erste Anzeichen der Blüte sind sichtbar, Internodienabstand nimmt zu, das Wachstum verlagert sich in die Höhe. Keine Mangelerscheinungen oder Stressanzeichen. In den kommenden Tagen wird das Stretching genau beobachtet. Ab nächster Woche beginnt das Monitoring der Vorblüten.

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Blüte und Stretch in vollem Gange nun. Letzte Woche sehr stark beschnitten. Hat die Woche auch 3.5 Liter Komposttee bekommen...ansonsten trinkt die zur Zeit so 2 Liter pro Tag...hoffe das werden nicht 6 Liter irgenwann wie bei meinem F-MILF Projekt...kaum noch händelbar wenn man dann wegfährt. Ansonsten voll zufrieden 😃

I upped the feeding schedule to 3x10min from 2x10min. Slight odd wilting at the beginning of some leaves near the stem, it doesn't look like anything of great concern, but I'll be keeping an eye on how it develops.

Creo que esta será la última semana, los olores están desbordados... esperemos bien... Muy resinosas se ven y las hojas de ambas cambian ya de color, pienso que el martes o miércoles les cambiare la solución, solo a mitad con agua del grifo y flashclean x 2 días y después cosecharé si todo va bien. Hoy vi que los tricomas de Critical están un poco más adelantados que Runtz, el problema es que no quiero pasar las Critical ni adelantar las Runtz. Y estoy obligado a cocecharlas juntas. Se ven tan lindas que me da pena tener que cortarlas...

Finally received a couple of humidifiers to test from the local shop. These shitty low cost humidifiers will not really do, I can only have them on non stop until the water runs out. If I connect them to a sensor that switches them off, it won't go back on because it doesn't have a mechanical switch, I have to press on each time. Still, let's see if this helps my poor dry leafs a little bit

En esta primera semana mantuve las luces muy alejadas lo que provocó un estiramiento prematuro lo que a mi gusto no me gusta mucho a sí que para la siguiente prepararé un transplante. In the very first week I kept the light so far so the it create a early grow on the structure but for me its not so good so I prepare a transplant for The next week.

Only 3/4 sprouted so I’m going with that. I don’t have any extra seeds. I am very happy tho because my last grow 4 was a lot in my setup. I want to see how much I can train 3 plants and how much bigger I can get them. I also have to order seeds this run and get more soil. Very excited

10/27: I rearranged the garden today and checked to see if she needed water yet. Nope.. 10/28: I watered her with about 1/4 gallon including terpinator, bembe, cal-mag, and some beastie bloomz because she's a little K deficient. 10/29: She's only stretching about an inch every couple of days..spending more energy on pistils, which is fine by me. Damn she's a hungry one, though! I'm still planning to flush tomorrow with no major nutes, but will give her another little dose of N and a metric shit-ton of P and K once she dries back out. 10/30: I decided not to do a flush and just did a very thorough watering today with added terpinator, bembe, cal-mag, humic acid, myco and bene bacti. I put about a half-gallon through her and let her sit and soak up all the run-off. It should take a few days for her to dry out. 10/31: I checked her moisture level. I'll feed her tomorrow. She's still looking P and.or K deficient despite my attempts to correct it. 11/1: I took her out of the closet and did a little defoliating. I sprinkled a little bat guano on her soil and fed her with about a half-gallon including all the good stuff, including beastie bloomz and full strength Tiger bloom. Surely that'll do the trick... 11/2: She still looks terribly K deficient and I just don't get it..thinking maybe my Ph tester needs recalibration or something. Like, maybe it's just to acidic for the K to be absorbed... I sprayed her thoroughly with boom boom spray and a little tiger bloom today.
