Out of the 5 plants the gelato spirited and flowered quicker than the other 4 gorilla glue plants even though it was planted a week later. From start to finish I didn’t have one problem with this strain and was shocked by the colas developing on the plants even from early flower. I’m not surprised this is one of fastbuds most powerful strains and it’s a pleasure to grow! The yield I admit isn’t the greatest bud the bud that it produced was some what close to phenotypes. Would definitely recommend this strain, not the biggest yielded but a pleasure to experience growing. Would grow again without a doubt but for now going to have a fat joint of gelato & gorilla glue. This week I had to remove my red light (sad because red leds are the most efficient one in terms of pffd per wattage) the reason for that is bleaching of the tips. Scientists found out that cultivars start bleaching if u hit 600 umol/m2/s red light (just red photons and not every strain bleaches). Besides that I did nothing to them. From now on I will try to keep the temps low but with a pretty small day/night temp difference. Now preservation of terps and maturing are my points of interests. Some nice colours are getting through … that was supported by some nitrogen deficiency. This was Not on purpose but better than burning them with nutrients. (Nitrogen is required to produce chlorophyll, which is Green. If u reduce the nitrogen towards the end you can support other pigments to come through.) Things are moving fast! 🚀 Two out of three plants started showing their first signs of flowering early in the week, while the one that got “auto-LST’d” by the fan took 2–3 days longer to catch up but she’s finally there too!🌱 All three are now starting to stretch, and I’ve gently tied down a few branches with soft wire to keep the structure nice and open. Nutrients were adjusted just in time, and everything continues to run super smoothly. Can’t wait to see how these berry babes develop over the next weeks!🍓🌱

I had trouble with my humidifier set up so she only took 5 days to hand dry . Fortunately I purchased a programmable humidifier so moving forward it’s all gravy. After everything was cut from branches & weighed she ended up yielding 20gs of some airy foxtaily bud. I knew this would be a disappointment so we’ll just wait to see what the smoke is like , what the smell is like , & what the taste is like .

What's up growmies!!! Week 3 is in the books, today is the official start of week 4. The plants are thriving and doing well. Tropicana Cookies is showing signs of rusting on the 2nd set of leaves. I'm not sure if it's due to heavy water getting on them or a nutrient issue. It hasn't affected any other leaves so I am keeping an eye on it. 1 liter of water ph'd to 6.5 every 3 days seems to be the sweet spot for now. After about a liter I'm seeing runoff. I have been giving them a 1/1/1 mix of general hydroponics Flora series, mixed into a 3 gallon watering jug so they are getting about 1/3 of the manufacturer recommended dose. Todo en marcha! 💨 Día 13 (14/06) Riego ligero 100 ml sólo H20 EC 0,5 en previsión del trasplante en el día 15 de la planta Día 14 (15/06) Se nota que estamos en el día 14 desde germinación y la mayoría de las plántulas van viento en popa!
